He actually needs to be the head of design. Everything should be supervised and approved through him, so they don't screw things up.

Nobel prize? For what? Building a Lego mech? That's ridiculous.
Categories of the Nobel Prize include Physiology/Medicine, Literature, Peace prize, and Physics.
While the MOC is remarkable, his work has nothing to do with the categories of the Nobel prize. Not to mention the fact that you'd have to be nominated by an eligible nominator. You can't just "give" someone a Nobel prize.

I think this guy deserves the title of the king of Lego hulkbusters. He can make really good mindig scaled ones, alternate builds that look like work or art, and turn even the worse hulkbuster into a masterpiece.
I can't believe he actually preserved the Iron Man figure gimmick while still pulling off such accurate proportions AND while using 0 extra pieces even from the same set. Crazy work, Ransom Fern.

I’ve seen lego alt builds for a decade but this is one of the most mind blowing things I’ve ever seen. I assumed there had to be a catch- some major stability, accuracy, possibility, or building issue with yours because there’s no way an alt build can be that good. But no, it’s literally perfect in every way. You deserve so much congratulations for this
Hands down my favorite Hulkbuster MOC, even more insane that you just used parts from the set. You just embarassed probably a whole team of LEGO expert designers
The fact that this is made of the same parts as the original set and still looks so much better is quite an amazing feat.

Its hard to describe the fact that, what you worked on, basically alone, for a few weeks, with an limited amount of parts just CRUSHES the original product in nearly every single way.

This looks amazing, I can see why they didn’t make the official set like this, but yours looks so much more like something you’d actually want to display in your home, which is the whole point of such an expensive set. Also props for getting two of them so you could compare the original to yours side by side
Disregarding the price tag of the original set, if I ever where to purchase the set, it would be to make your creation, yours is so perfect and for a minute I actually kinda wanted this set ( then the pirce tag was reminded to me ) so congrats! this is truly an impressive accomplishment

I know you always say your mocs aren't improvements, just different takes, but I can legitimately see this design of yours being the reason some actually go thru with buying this set. It looks gorgeous. I'm really surprised, not only you managed to fill out the thicker silhouette with the pieces available, but you also preserved a lot of the original (including the 76206 integration feature). I can't begin to imagine the headache that must have been to figure out.

The MOC in a vacuum Is an incredible design which is the perfect Lego representation of the Hulkbuster, let alone the fact that it's made with only the parts from the original set!
Absolute Legend, I bought this set at half price waiting for an alt build just like this one.
Considering the liberties the original set had to take I thought at most the alt build would also struggle to look this accurate but like always you hit the ball out of the park

It’s builds like these that make me wonder what the heck Lego was thinking when they designed the set. The official model looks like the designers watched the movie once and then designed the set off of memory alone. Yours looks like you worked with the producers of the movie to design the most accurate rendition of the hulk buster I’ve ever seen built out of Legos period. An absolutely phenomenal job. Well done, sir!

One of these was designed by an OFFICIAL LEGO designer and gone through multiple product reviews…and it sucked! LOL Great job Fern! Such a great way for those with buyer regrets to improve on the old lackluster design. Keep up the amazing work!

This is a display piece anyway, so it didn't need to be as stable as the original, stading there, looking good is all it needed to do. Fantastic work!

Can we appreciate how much of a flex him still including fitting the Iron Man feature is? Lego's entire crutch for the awful proportions was that it was in service of that feature. And then Ransom makes the cleanest, most badass looking lego Hulkbuster there is, and still has the iron man figure feature and it just makes Lego look stupid

Insane job, man! When Hachiroku stated he didn't think he could modify the UCS hulk buster without introducing new pieces, I didn't think this MOD would be possible, but you both proved me wrong and exceeded expectations by maintaining both structural integrity and the action-figure function Lego compromised so much to achieve. Lego should thank you, because you've given people a worth-while reason to buy the set now. Seriously, though I may buy the set to build your modified version.
