In 1961 Elizabeth guest starred in the superlative TV series “Route 66”. I think she gave quite a good performance as a dancer who’s lost her confidence in herself but who, by the show episodes conclusion, overcomes her issues. I had no idea she was a star in the UK or that she’d won a Tony. It’s too bad the kinescope tape of her performance here is so poor.
She was average - nothing more, and out of her comfort zone in Chicago with Bob Fosse's demanding choreography, where high kicks weren't needed. I always though that she was supposed to be the Brits answer to Gwen Verdon - but no contest.
Have a good day from production ideas😀

Don’t be so dismissive. Can YOU do it?
