This shows the difference in the talent of artists back in these days and today there was no auto-tune in 1977 this is natural talent

The Drummer, Don Henley, sang leads sometimes, the guitarist with the acoustic guitar, Glenn Frey (RIP) sang lead a good amount as well. The Bass Player in this lineup, Randy Meisner had an amazing voice, check out "Take It To The Limit." All of the band sang very very well.... Glad to hear people reacting to this classic rock masterpiece

    It's remastered.
    That's why it's so clear.
It didn't look this clear on TV's in the 70's.

My mom was at the concert where they played this song for the first time, from the unreleased (at the time) album… she said the audience booed lol… they hated it because it was so different from what they had come to know the eagles for at that point

In those days musicians could really play and sing without any artificial voice autotune. Bands were not just some nice looking models thats passed an audition because of their looks, like nowadays, where music talent is not a request anymore. That were just super talented people that got together and decided to make music in a band. Today half naked models, can gather the crowds, and the “music” is secondary.

They were very famous in the U.S especially in the 70's-80's . Many, many hit songs. I Can't Tell You Why is one u might enjoy. Studio live is the best. Shows them recording it 🔥❤️

    How is this so clear?
I'll clue you in. I was in this business from the late '70s through the '80s and was involved in productions like this.
There would be 1 or 2 remote trucks, video & sound. A separate audio feed from the house would be sent to the remote(s). That audio would be mixed there, the video recorded. There would be techs & producers there. It's all very controlled.
Also realize that computers, as you know them today, didn't exist. This would've been all analog as apposed to digital, 1 & 0s replicating an analog sound wave. I wasn't at this one so I can't be 100% sure how they handled everything but my description above is what I experienced.
I was involved in U2s "Under A Blood Red Sky" at Red Rocks, CO and The Rolling Stones shoot for "Let's Spend the Night Together" at Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe, AZ. I was involved mostly with the live production side but was, never the less, exposed to how it all gets put together.
I worked Eagles shows, with Joe Walsh, as well, none of those, however, were recorded.

Can’t tell if it’s just me, but the sound for the video you’re watching is a split second off sync to the video. Everyone else commenting that it’s pure talent is also correct, these guys are technical geniuses as well as fantastic musicians in everything from composing, to singing, to orchestration, to musicianship. BUT… something seems to be wrong with the particular version you chose (there are others on youtube from this era, probably from this same tour but in another city that the audio matches the visual perfectly, but each concert is ever so slightly different from each other enough thst you KNOW it isn’t lip-syncing. It’s the tape, not the performance. They are really just that good!

Also, studio versions are generally a better read of a band for a beginner, as they’ve ironed out any imperfections that are common with live videos. Nothing against any and all live videos, but you will appreciate them more if you fall in love with the perfect (or, at least, as perfect as any artist can be) studio albums.
That being true in all cases, it isn’t always true for the Eagles, they are the singular exception in my ears (and I’m not even a super fan of theirs, though I do enjoy them); their studio albums are generally as perfect as their live ones.

What? You think they recorded using wax tubes in the 70s?
