    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  2 года назад +1

      @@pn2294 After using both extensively, I found that Rudolph was easily replaceable whereas Corentin brought unique and powerful skills no one else has access to. There are 4 different archers in Triangle Strategy vs. 1 ice mage (technically 2 if you count Narve but he can't do any of the unique things Corentin can). Between the 4 archers I'd say Rudolph is easily the worst one.

    • @pn2294
      @pn2294 2 года назад +1

      @@RozalinGaming yeah no
      Rudolph hits hard without dying as easily as Hughette and Archibald
      Trish, I don’t have yet so I can’t compare though

    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  2 года назад +3

      @@pn2294 Yes he hits hard, but he is missing much of the other archer's utility that makes them so good. Hughette and Archibald both gain range increases; Hughette can keep enemies stuck in place and/or blind them; Archibald gets the ability to hit almost anything from anywhere; Trish gets the ability to easily reposition herself; and Hughette has incredible movement range; Rudolph's big thing is damage and some bulk, but his damage isn't much higher, if higher at all, and his extra bulk is pretty irrelevant since your archers shouldn't be taking damage.
      By going for Rudolph over Corentin you are giving up a far more unique unit that offers up a lot of strategic possibilities for an easily replaceable archer whos main selling point is damage.

    • @pn2294

    About the 4 unit choice:
    If you previous defended the village you can return to, the unit you get is incredible. Her mobility rivals that of Ser Maxwell, and she's ranged, and if you choose one of the endgame options where you'll encounter Aesfrost units, Flame Arrow is an extra hard hitting truck.
    I found her significantly more useful than the dancer, at any rate.
    I don't think you can go wrong with any of those 4 units, really. Just saying I've had a field day with thr bandit archer. She's super good.

    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  2 года назад +1

      In terms of the 4 unit choice, I'd put Trish and Milo on par with each other, slightly favoring Milo due to how many other archers there are and Milo having better movement due to her ability to pass through enemies and obstacles. Travis is by far the least useful of the bunch but even he isn't bad. Cordelia is somewhere in the middle; she's great when she's great but meh everywhere else.

    • @mitchellwhitten2445
      @mitchellwhitten2445 2 года назад +9

      There isn’t permadeath in this game. I think it’s a good one to start with because all the recruitable units have a great use and fill a specific niche. This allows for you to easily change your play style to whatever you want without having to re-spec any units.

    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  2 года назад +11

      There is no perma-death (if there was I would have lost my MCs fiancee in the very first fight actually LOL).
      This one is a relatively easy game to get into as a starting point, but if you're curious I would recommend checking out the demo for the game as it contains the first 3 chapters and should give you a good idea of the game's core concepts.
