Let me know what units you found most useful as well! Honestly I found almost every unit to be useful so picking the honorable mentions was pretty difficult, but the main four showcased were no brainers for me. The only time I really ever removed any of them was when I wanted to get more experience on other units, or one very specific battle in which Medina was countered pretty hard. Oh and don't forget to follow me over on Twitch at twitch.tv/rozalingaming were I stream every game I end up covering here on the channel!
@@michaelbainbridge7335 yea Hughette is broken on many maps imo. Big maps with elevation She will just wreck havoc and blind / imobilize everything. Best movement and best status skills out of any archer in the game. Other archers are awesome with support units ( like tp battery & someone who can protect them ) but Hughette doesn't need support she can just solo. Her only weakness is she is weaker to enemy archers but blind counters that She was often my mvp. Anna too, thanks to her invisibility / evasion / double turns / poison / sleep etc. Can go on solo missions Yes she aint as strong in the very lategame but still awesome Of course Archibald's inescapable arrow is overpowered but I find it a bit boring to use to just have him in a corner with a tp support spamming inescapable arrow. Also maps when you start on a low elevation nerfs him quite a bit.
I wish that wind spells would spread fire inflicted squares. Also I wish that beyond the shaman, the weather changed more often so that we can benefit from rain and windy days more often
One thing to mention with Narve which REALLY pushed him for me is extended reach also works in a really REALLY good weird way with his whirlwind spell making it cover a HUGE area of ground. I feel it's because while the whirlwind spreads in range the further it goes (1 square, then 2, then 3) extend reach gives him 4 squares now at the end letting him hit extremely wide areas. Not to mention that he turns all of them around which honestly at this point feels like a tiny bonus in comparison.
I really slept on using Coretin. Shield of ice is also a really good ability, blocks all damage for one hit and counters the attack and even works on archers.
I'm glad to see Narve and Corentin on here. They are both so great, and most of the other videos I've seen on youtube have underestimated how good they are.
Personally i would also put Lionel on honorable mention. ruffle feathers shut down any mage and healer from distance is really good + he also has one of the best shutdown spell in the entire game, endless speech which can put your enemy to sleep, silence, or both at the same time. His ultimate skill also really good sure it cost 7500 coin per use on top of hefty amount of tp but his ultimate not only hit hard any enemy that survive got the tempt status effect, which if you have use tempt before, you should know how good that is
I'm aware of Lionel's strengths, I just don't think they fell into the top or honorable mentions. When Lionel is good he is very good, but outside of that he can feel lacking, which is why he wasn't considered.
I've watched a lot of these and another honorable mention.... Frederica. Damage-mage wise, she has the highest magic attack. If you buff her up (The black anklet and other magic items work well) she becomes a very vital damage dealer. My entire party is basically built on her. (Party consists of Serenoa, Benedict, Maxwell, Avlora, Geela, Julio, Hughette, Anna, Erador. Sometimes Quahaug) All of them, I highly recommend at least trying out :)
Lol I literally do the same, I normally play with double archer (Rudolph) as well. I don’t use Archibald that much. But that battle with Gustadov towards the golden ending… Dam Archibald was so useful there.
@@alguienenelmundo10 ooh rudolph is good, but he's kinda situational in later game just because there's more vital characters. archibald's also crazy good for his range, and especciallyyy in that gustadolf battle seriously
I find narve lackluster. He and izana have tp gain issues compared to the other mages. Ice boy has tp on ice, fire girl has tp on kill. Sure, with a battery, it doesn't matter, but I'm p sure his dps is behind ice boy and fire boy. I'd rather bring ice boy who has glacial moon and ice shield and two batteries and keep him battered all game, then a narve.
If you find Narve lackluster than I honestly think you aren't making the most of his strengths. He has more flexibility and range than the other casters, his damage is on-par with them as well (better when using a specialized spell), and TP isn't an issue since you want to be bringing TP batteries anyways; not to mention Narve makes not only himself but all of your other mages hit harder. I can't think of a single battle in which I didn't want him in my party, whereas there were plenty in which I gladly swapped out the other mages.
I didn't miss him, I purposely didn't include him. He can do some very powerful things, but when his abilities aren't applicable, which does happen often, he is decidedly weaker than many other units. I also considered the fact that the vast majority of players won't ever even get Quahaug due to needing 1600 Utility.

How could you not mention Hughette when mentioning the best units in Triangle Strategy?
@@michaelbainbridge7335 yea Hughette is broken on many maps imo. Big maps with elevation

Me too, the terrain effects could be more effective in general...

And now I'm finding out Medina is OP... 😅😅😅
This was a fun watch, and it turns out I am using none of these characters in my party. I'll have to start experimenting more.

And ice wall can save you too

Yeah I was about to just accept that I was the only one who liked Narve lol

Groma is my must-have because she's so fun.
Just letting you know there is a typo in the title. Maybe this was pointed out already but might wanna fix that
Oh damn I never noticed, thanks!
Pumping TP into my mage cabalt was pretty OPd. And I would throw Archibald with them in a cross and the damage was ridiculous. Barely needed a tank
great vid, your audio is really low volume btw
Audio is balanced around a 0 db floor. I've listened to my videos on multiple different devices and at roughly 20% I have no issues with volume.
I've watched a lot of these and another honorable mention....

I no this is totally unrelated to the video but could you possibly do a video on some good builds for persona 3 portable?
Medina is broken, AOE double item TP boosts ftw
You missed the best character in the game. Quahaug BREAKS most of the game.
