You obviously have enough experience to know the longer you shot any pellet gun the more accurate it becomes. I've found you need to cycle at least 500 rounds till any gun gets to it's sweet spot. Burn off any factory oil, season the barrel, let the piece settle any out of the box "wonkiness". Too many people don't have that kind of patience. Given time this will be a great shooter. Mine took at least 1000 rounds till I was happy with it's performance. Now...next to my Crosman 2240xl this is my best plinker. Thanks for the vid. Liked and subscribed.
I have the 4" barrel version in .22 cal and it is superb fun at 10 meters destroying cans. It seems to love Bisley wasp pellets and gives a good 60 shots per capsule. Excellent piece of kit.
Nice to see another video on this excellent CO2 replica pistol. I've had a BB version for a few years and it shoots reasonable groups at 10 yards but the pellet version shoots much nice groups. It's great to hold a bit of history in your hands though and with the latest additions to the range you have a choice of 4" or 2.5" barrelled versions as well. Thanks for the video.
If you take most of the fiddley bits on the exterior and brass them (heat with a torch, rub brass brush on it so some of the brass plates the parts): the Webley, with it's very prominent angular facets - looks fantastically steampunk. It's one of those classic, turn of the 19th century, industrial revolution, function over form machines which is beautiful in it's ugliness.
Bought one a couple of weeks ago. I only shot through one co2 as I wanted it as a display item. Looks great and shot better than yours did. I got no flyers
Maybe we can swap? 😄 LOL No, Im wondering now if I had the co2 cannister screwed in properly, or maybe should've used a heavier pellet? But shooting it straight out of the box was kind of the point, so I had no data to go on. Plus, if I'd have played around with it first to find the sweet spot then it wouldn't have been an authentic 'first shots' experience vid, so I just decided to run with it. They do look and feel amazing though and are great fun to shoot. For me, just the action of activating the top-break, loading the 'rounds' and cyclying the hammer and trigger, are well worth the
The original ones fired the .455 round and although it packed a similar punch to .45 ACP or .44 Special it fired with quite a curvature compared say rounds like 9mm.The later ones, and the similar Enfield, were in .38 , can't remember what was behind the .38!,but it was weaker than .38 Special and not interchangeable. It was a short cartridge which fired a long top heavy bullet.
Well done Dan. As you say, it's about holding a piece of history. Replica air pistols are a way forward to owning a pistol, realistic, historic and great fun in the garden ~ can't do that with Section 7. (p.s. you didn't mention the Small Arms Training Manual, which is equally interesting and unique, I believe, to the Webley) Keep the Videos coming.
Thanks John. I did shoot sime footage where I ran through the manuel, which is, as you say, an interesting peice in itself. However, sadly, I couldn't find the footage when I uploaded all the clips for editing.
Hello and 1000 thank you for this video. Just came on the right time!! I got this replica in 6mms from WELL. I need the gas valve and I can not find it, or a compatible one. Could you please tell me where I could find it?? It is an historical replica gun, and I am a collector of this kind of product. Thanks in advance!!
Actually there are 2. And I want to get both. one is the part where the cenister gets in when you press it in, and the other is that part that the hammer strikes...
Looks like a cold day for shooting CO2.... maybe it performs better when it's warmer ? The cold does downgrade a CO2's performance power and accuracy. Cracking pistol regardless.... Xmas is coming, I wonder if the wife would get the hint ????............. 😁
Great review of an iconic pistol. I would love to own one of these for my collection of replica CO2 pistols. I can't find a distributor that ships to the USA. Please let me know if there is a company that will ship one of these to the US. I subscribed to your channel.
Possibly. But Im not sure its designed for much else. The barrel may be rifled but the cartridges aren't so the pellet gets blown an inch before it even meets the rifling. Itsa fun gun to shoot though and for the experience I think its well worth the money.
Ummmm,,,nahhh I am better off with Vigilante, nothing really special about the gun beside the replica nostalgia. It's a very nice revolver but expensive and it's hard to get it in Canada because of government stupidity...
I've got a nagant pistolhas stamped imperial Russia double eagle on it before the Bolsheviks took over However it's got a damn 8lbs trigger pull to it . Amazing quirky revolver with uncircumcised bullets

I get 80 shots per cartridge with the .177 caliber, the .22 version is not available in Canada.

Nice vid Dan, enjoyed the history lesson too. Very tempted to add one to my collection😉
Somewhere Sir Winston Churchill weeps for the armed Englishman, forced to play with air pistols instead of real firearms.
We are PATHETIC men when compared to past generations allowing the Govt and corrupt police forces to disarm us .
I have the BB version and I love it. Subscribed. Mine shoots a little bit to the left too at 10 yards.

How horrible. What makes you think anyone here cares about that stupid cringe ‘steampunk’ crap?
@@JD-re3cj You cared enough to voice your discontent.
Brilliant thank you. Convinced me this is the one for for me! Cheers

Looking way more comfortable behind the camera, another great video my friend
Another good video, thanks 👍
Wife purchased one for me at Christmas. Love it.

.38/200
Overall a nice replica of the Webley and fun to shoot

Thanks for video! If you slow between shots with co2 accuracy will improve!
Hi,it's great show for us. Is there any riffling in the barrel?
Thanks. Yes, I believe it does have a rifled barrel 👍🏻
Interesting to see someone who is used to handling airsoft wrap their finger around the trigger every time they pick up a gun.

Do you think accuracy/groups might improve once its done a few more shots

Proper bullets
Sadly not Si, no 😔

The unnecessary writing on the side and the plastic safety catch ruin it for me

Where is the history in owning this toy?
