    Listening to Manning analyzing the plays and Romo anticipating them during his live commentary has really been a pleasure and given me much respect for how good these quarterbacks are at their job, how important the position is, more important than any other I can think of in any sport.

      Idk i think quarterbacking is tougher based on the entire scope of what theyre asked to do. That said, i think you could make a solid argument for goalies being most important in sports that use them

    • @garak55
      @garak55 2 года назад +9

      Lol right, soccer is the sport where they called revolutionary the idea to have a striker fall back a few meter and play false nine. Took years for these "QBs" to figure out that you could man cover the false nine and resume zone defense on the back side.
      Soccer is fun and athletic and whatever but it's really not a smart people sport. Really not.

      @@garak55 i don't know if it exactly is being smart but look at a man city game or a bayern one, there's analysis on youtube for the games and boy, how the entire teams knows where to play, how they open, the level of positioniting in defense, how they pressure,it's not really easy pressure well and the other team can take advantage of that, and the chemistry in between the players, its like the eleven form one brain, i mean i love the 2 sports and the 2 you need to know what are you doing at elite level, the 2 requires a lot being smart on field, idk if one is smarter than the other one, but like every sport you need to be smart

      @jognfong8557 2 года назад

      Agreed. All the hype was on Trevor Lawrence, but Mac was kind of like the "safe" pick, not too flashy but will get it done.
      It's too early to tell, but Jets prob pulled a Raiders move and got swirled by pre-draft hype and picked Wilson. I'm baffled that 9ers moved up just to pick him, prob could've sat back and still got him or someone else ur team really needs. I would say right now, Mac is looking the best, Fields is showing promise, Lawrence might have been coaching fault (give him more time), and the other two are arm-raising baffling picks.

      @soncookierich 2 года назад

      @@jognfong8557 Honestly? I am of the opinion that Lawrence does not need any more time. He had trouble reading the defense in college from time to time. That leads to him overlooking free receivers or the simplest passes. On top of that he is very inaccurate at the moment. I actually think he can be a little better in another team but only a little. I don't see him as an elite QB.

    David Andrews should be the league MVP given the success of his QB, the dominance of his line, and the individual successes of Damian Harris (2nd year), Rhomandre Stevenson who is a clearly skilled rookie and ubermensch football player Brandon Bolden who stepped in for the injured James White, another premiere Patriot veteran…. back to Andrews…. Count collective success and total success of the running backs as a credit to their leader, anchor, and captain. The guy is a force and I don’t think they pull out from 2-4 without that defense but, also without David Andrews who btw is the guy who gets them fired up now in post Brady Patriots Football.
    I am a real Patriots fan. I’m not a Brady lackey. A Tampa-rary fan like so many imposters up here.
    Brady was the goat here. I hope he never wins again unless Mac gets injured and he Testaverdes up at age 55 or whatever. Apart from that…
