Peyton is hilarious!!! Make more of these videos!
here you go👌 ruclips.net/p/PLIgcljJfbU8cX_6QY8rZzNpfi4gS7jTdo
I have to admit this was a great analysis and comical. Very informative! I'm a Pats fan :)
Listening to Manning analyzing the plays and Romo anticipating them during his live commentary has really been a pleasure and given me much respect for how good these quarterbacks are at their job, how important the position is, more important than any other I can think of in any sport.
Idk i think quarterbacking is tougher based on the entire scope of what theyre asked to do. That said, i think you could make a solid argument for goalies being most important in sports that use them
In soccer, every player is a QB. Toughest sport there is.
Lol right, soccer is the sport where they called revolutionary the idea to have a striker fall back a few meter and play false nine. Took years for these "QBs" to figure out that you could man cover the false nine and resume zone defense on the back side.
Soccer is fun and athletic and whatever but it's really not a smart people sport. Really not.
Whats a qb without a center lol...
@@garak55 i don't know if it exactly is being smart but look at a man city game or a bayern one, there's analysis on youtube for the games and boy, how the entire teams knows where to play, how they open, the level of positioniting in defense, how they pressure,it's not really easy pressure well and the other team can take advantage of that, and the chemistry in between the players, its like the eleven form one brain, i mean i love the 2 sports and the 2 you need to know what are you doing at elite level, the 2 requires a lot being smart on field, idk if one is smarter than the other one, but like every sport you need to be smart
Learned more in 10 minutes than 10 years of watching the game. Thanks Peyton!
You're not very perceptive are you?
As a Patriots and Mac Jones fan this was satisfying to listen to. As a novice football fan- I am so impressed with not only his knowledge but his way of making it easier to understand. Also his humility even though he was obviously a star player…
It’s why Manning was a legendary QB. He and Brady were each other’s lithmus test that would determine how their seasons would go back in the 2000s.
@Bryan Smith he’ll learn. He was just a rookie last year.
@Bryan Smith @8:55 look at Mac’s eyes and listen to what Manning have said.
Peyton is not only excellent in these but I love his dry humor. Who among us doesn't miss the Brady/Manning games?? The Bird/Magic games of the 2000s.
Never again will we see such rivalry between two all time greats. Nowdays, QBs are too busy being runningbacks, getting hit, and shortening their life span in the process. No more rivalries of such caliber will exist anymore.
"Who among us doesn't miss the Brady/Manning games??" Probably Manning. LOL But little bro has his back and can shut Brady up. And before anyone thinks I'm hating on either of them, I'm a huge Brady fan.
Love Peyton's humor as well as his analysis. :D
It’s really interesting to see Peyton break down the nuances of not only the routes, but also how it develops and to give a rookie so much prop. I’m excited for the future with Mac.
Great stuff! Lifelong, die-hard Patriots fan. Obviously I "hated" Peyton during his playing days (not real hate or personal hate, just being a loyal fan), but since his retirement, his commentary, all the commercials, the hosting and his game breakdowns, I've been a big fan. Keep it up Peyton!... Oh, and GO PATS!
Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way couldn't stand him when he was playing now can't wait to see his breakdowns and comedy sketches lol
Brian... I hated Peyton Manning too 🤣😂, watching him playing against us, was like having a heart attack
I'm a Patriots fan _and_ an Ole Miss fan. First time I got burned by Peyton was when he spurned Ole Miss to go to Tennessee. The Colts and Broncos were just more salt on the wound. (Plot twist: I remained an Eli Manning fan even when he beat the Pats twice.)
yeah i hate that hes won me over...
As a Patriot fan, I have always admired and respected Peyton Manning as a worthy adversary.
Peyton = football genius + humility
Peyton = football genius + humility + comedy.
Dude watching this stuff and learning about the game like this literally makes me love football more than I did before. Thank you!
Resting in the fourth quarter figuring out what's for dinner lol
Look at the excitement and enthusiasm he is showing. 🤣🤣
This is fantastic content. I sure as hell hope that Peyton continues to make these breakdowns.
Man that dbl block by the centre is pure football awesomeness. Belly. Quite the coach
Thank you for this!
Back then they didnt want me now im hot they all on me Mac Jones
I like listening to Payton explaining plays like this. He doesn’t have to rush, he is in his element.
This is so goooddd and shout out to whomever got all the clips together, you sir are appreciated
Mac Jones is the best QB coming out from the draft, he is smart, perfect ball placement
Agreed. All the hype was on Trevor Lawrence, but Mac was kind of like the "safe" pick, not too flashy but will get it done.
It's too early to tell, but Jets prob pulled a Raiders move and got swirled by pre-draft hype and picked Wilson. I'm baffled that 9ers moved up just to pick him, prob could've sat back and still got him or someone else ur team really needs. I would say right now, Mac is looking the best, Fields is showing promise, Lawrence might have been coaching fault (give him more time), and the other two are arm-raising baffling picks.
@@jognfong8557 eh they both went to way way way way opposite environments whoever goes to the jags will lose they’ll never be a winning environment. Mac was the best positioned to say he’s the best in draft is heavy bias lol
@@jognfong8557 Honestly? I am of the opinion that Lawrence does not need any more time. He had trouble reading the defense in college from time to time. That leads to him overlooking free receivers or the simplest passes. On top of that he is very inaccurate at the moment. I actually think he can be a little better in another team but only a little. I don't see him as an elite QB.
I wonder how Kenny Pickett compares this time around.
This is so good! I really appreciate the clarity and the depth of this.
Super cool to see the really well edited video. The little mini back-and-forth replays are amazingly helpful to see what's going on.
I would listen to Peyton Manning do this all day every day
As a patriot fan all y life I have to say Mr Manning that you are one of the most cool ridiculously great persons that I've ever been able to watch. It was an honor watching you play and if the Patriots weren't my favorite team I would be rooting for you and I still kind of was even when you were playing I guess you are something else sir and you will never be forgotten you are so totally cool I mean holy crap dude your last name should be cool
I really feeling all the excitement and emotion there.
Great video!!
Lol. This was awesome!! What a time, those Pats-Colts, Brady-Peyton battles were. Glory years. Always respected Peyton.
Peyton Manning is the best. Love his humor in the end cracked me up.
This is awesome. Love listening to Peyton break down the game.
Great insight. A master sharing his knowledge.
Looks like Payton has found his new calling. With his combination of knowledge and humor this could be one of the best shows in decades if he continues
I thought Mac was more compatible to Manning than Brady this season.
I think Payton likes what he is seeing like the rest of us Patriots fans.
Awesome! Peyton is one of the absolute best, plus he's pretty dang funny.
As fresh as Madden was for the era, this kind of analysis and explanation is ......more!! : ) and as duker pointed out, Tony Romo too. Really helps us understand and appreciate the game much more. thanks!
David Andrews should be the league MVP given the success of his QB, the dominance of his line, and the individual successes of Damian Harris (2nd year), Rhomandre Stevenson who is a clearly skilled rookie and ubermensch football player Brandon Bolden who stepped in for the injured James White, another premiere Patriot veteran…. back to Andrews…. Count collective success and total success of the running backs as a credit to their leader, anchor, and captain. The guy is a force and I don’t think they pull out from 2-4 without that defense but, also without David Andrews who btw is the guy who gets them fired up now in post Brady Patriots Football.
I am a real Patriots fan. I’m not a Brady lackey. A Tampa-rary fan like so many imposters up here.
Brady was the goat here. I hope he never wins again unless Mac gets injured and he Testaverdes up at age 55 or whatever. Apart from that…
Andrews…. League MVP. Shout him up Peyton. Shout him up! Love the video. You’re a beast! Cut that meat, kid!
Wow. That aged poorly.
Give Mac Jones some time to develop and mature and I think the Patriots are going to be okay at QB. Here’s to 2022!
More Peyton analyzing QB play please. This was great. Go Pats!
Great vid
Wow a qb giving Mac Jones his credit 😃 how surprising
Yeah what does that Manning guy know about QB play?? Notice none of the hater idiots are commenting here.
Those who know, know.
I think tyrann mathieu also shouted out Mac about being a good qb. Good players respect good players
Peyton is so awesome. I’d love to see him do more commentary
wow this is really good. thanx
Lmfao he said “ Belichick excited “ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
More of this!!!🙌🏾🙌🏾
That was great analyzing by Manning. Go Pats.
Peyton is a football genius!!!! Miss him so much.
Great stuff👍
4:37 Pat Fitzgerald has been the head coach of Northwestern for the last 16 years. Very cool shout out.
This was awsome!
Just awsome
More of these!!!! MORE OF THESE!!!!
7:04 - lol. 🤣
Peyton is such an expert. Amazing. Doesn't hurt to be a bit comedic as well. I'm a Patriot guy but I still love Peyton.
good stuff!!!
MJ is the antithesis of extending the plays. He makes the right plays based on pre snap and post snap reads.
Impressive that Peyton would take time to critique Mac Jones qb skills, Mac Jones is playing at the next level. Belichick did a good thing
"Even Bill Belichick is excited"
😐
Destined for greatness so things one way or another work out for those qbs
Not a patriots fan js is all
Play #28 btw
Nothing, but respect 🙏 for him, and his family.
I love the Marino references , he is still in my top 5 QBs.
Great vid. Wish we did better against the Colts but I guess you can't win em all lol. I think Mac has a path to a very bright future in the NFL tho.
Love Maning a true master
7:07 I appreciate a little humor
Peyton would be an excellent NFL head coach.
This is amazing.
As a life long Pats fan (age 24) I was raised to "hate" Manning (both of them lol). But respect is one thing I've always had for Peyton, and I've enjoyed finally being able to appreciate him the way he deserves.
Manning ( merely guessing here ) knows D.Marino's *career compilation of completions* soO thoroughly that he did not have to ponder very many hours -- concerning which one to edit into this.
Manning is unreal at this..wow
If we get could get the couch coaches who have never played a down of football much less QB to understand that some of these balls that do not look accurate to a couch coach.... because they were high, or behind the receiver or low are not bad throws. These are ball placement throws with a purpose.
It would be good if PM analyzed what the Saints did on SNF.
hahahaha, love you Payton!
thx
Yw
Peyton ❤ from N.E....
Glad to hear Twinkle Toes still got it. Excellent analysis
💀💀💀
This is awesome
Peyton Manning showing how excited Belichick was. 😆🤣🤣🤣🤣
Would it hillarious to hear Manning and Belichick as broadcasters in a game?
#GoPats
Raiders offense is going to look real good can’t wait to see DC doing that Tom Brady alert signal 😂. I think Josh is going to help Dc with his touch passes in the red zone and his eye manipulation those are the areas he needs improve.
I love Peyton Manning, and I'm a Patriots fan.
Hearing manning comparing Mac jones with Dan Marino should let us patriots fans hope for the years to come
I luv how its clear that Peyton luvs Dan
How many supernbowls do you think Mac wins?
Hmmm… Depends on how long bill belichick coaches
@@GoldenSportsEnt haha good answer
Bill can get him at least one, if McDaniels takes over then he can get another over the next ten years after his first ring
I think bill feels like he has something to prove and continues coaching for 8+ years. He wants to go on a run and show he can do it without Tom. I think Mac is his guy and together they win a lot of Super Bowls. 3+.
I'd say it's too early to say.
New appreciation for Jones after watching this. I still think his arm talent is going to limit his ceiling. But he seems to be ahead of the curve on the mental part.
Wym? He throws deep so I’m confused
@@terrancelee437 You don't need a great arm to throw deep.
@@Relayer6a bro what
Payton manning is great quarterback. I wish he would go to the raiders and be the quarterback coach. Mac Jones was my high pick in draft because of his accuracy with the football. Nfl quarterback must be accurate with the football and throw it on time. I take a accurate quarterback over a quarterback that throws the ball 80 yards.
I'm a Patriots fan. Peyton Manning might just be my favorite NFL personality ever.
Peyton Manning: He’s really good at handing the ball off. 😂
This is beautifull. More, i need more of this
His throw mechanics are second to Tom Brady and that it. You know I’m right Payton.
Shoutout to Henry
It’s hard to find people like Brady and Manning both are geniuses lol
Imagine if Brady and Manning both became analysts for football games together? The analysis could possibly be more interesting than the game!
This makes me feel better about Jones as my qb. Well for the next 4 seasons.
His football IQ seems pretty high for a rookie. With BB as his coach I can only see him getting better/smarter.
"Does that make me weird?" No, it makes you great.
Hahaha.. awesome.
Only hated Manning on game day, outside of the field he's a good guy.
Would be wild if Peyton some day became a OC for Mac10. Lol
they need to put peyton in the booth doing games
Hopefully someday we'll get to see a Mac Jones vs Daniel Jones superbowl
This is brilliant
Idk why I didn’t like manning.. but this video changed my mind
“Does that make me weird?”
No. That makes you a winner.
