I am just totally in awe of your knowledge, your seemingly endless passion and ability to bring the understanding and lightbulb moments across in a way I can relate to. When I feel a little uninspired you are just the medication I need to refuel my creative side once again, with the added bonus of learning new things I would never have thought of along the way. Thank you Alice ❤
I had always wondered how that background texture was created. Thanks again for such a clearly explained lesson! Definitely something we can all add into our toolkit.
Your videos are awesome, and that hybrid rumble sounds incredible, could you make a detailed video about hybrid rumbles? I really wanna get a better understanding of how to make them. Thank you for everything and have a nice one :)
Thanks so much! I have a question: I have no idea how you automated the low pass filter in your echo (4:09)... it's not linked to a specific automation lane, is it? I'm quite new to Ableton and not familiar with all the concepts and possibilities :)
Alice you're the best! I'm teaching a few ppl privatly how to produce and I use some of your videos for them to learn at home. Keep up your awesome work !
Thanks for all of your tutorials, they are quite in depth and detailed! For me exactly what I want and need to understand how to manipulate the nuances of my tracks and how to approach certain effects.
Your videos are so good Alice.. It's obvious you are working so hard. Your video editing and everything is so good and i don't know how but you always upload exactly what im looking for at the moment :)
1:41 I always wondered what's the transient layer in these kicks. I like to craft the kicks myself and that thing I won't get right is that 'woody' transient. Any ideas?
I find using tuned kicks or kick2 makes it easier to make rumbles that fit the track, especially for melodic styles, otherwise you can waste so much time messing around with micropitches and out of tune rumbles. You are one of the only people to sell tuned kick packs, I wish more people did that. Great video anyway, thanks a lot!
Thank you Jack! I am also preparing a Kick 2 preset pack with my own favourite click and thump samples as well. It will take a bit more time for me to finish it but that is coming too 😊
@@Alice-Efe Yeah I'd be very interested in that... Maybe you could do a tutorial on it as well, its a great plugin and I'd love to see how you use it....
Really interesting! I don’t make any music in the EDM genre but I still watch your channel cause the info is always really interesting, and mixing genres is the spice of life anyway :P
Heey Alice, what a great video! Totally love it! Is their a way to pitch your rumble in a certain key? And is it a good idea to have my kick and the rumble in the same key?
I started printing rumbles just as a means to make them easier to edit and fine tune, hadn't even considered that (especially if made with reverb) they are all a bit different. I found merging them with the kick tail to be easier as an audio clip, not really sure why
The problem i always get is when i make a parallel mixer channel of my kick for creating the rumble, after i put my delay, reverb en low pass on, my rumble is always jumping out of key, how can i fix that?
Hey Alice, I have some feedback about the way you made this video. Somehow I couldn't seem to follow what you've showed here. To me, and maybe also for others, it's hard to follow what you did here, you've gone trough all the steps so quickly that i couldn't follow what and how you did it.. It's about a way of explaining things. Perhaps a more linear explanation, with more oversight over your DAW, will do better. This constructive feedback is really meant to hopefully help you gain insight in how some people (or maybe only me), perceives your content. So only sweet intentions here! This is the only one that didn't do the trick for me though, because all other video's that I saw of you were straightforward and easy to understand. Please keep up your great work! You've really helped me a bunch already! ;-)

excellent as always
Really great tutorial once again. Thanks a lot. I'm gonna use it from now on in all of my tracks.❤
Do more stuff on groovy techno like bcco or prx records, loved what you did with the second one. Keep it up!
Printing out those rumbles! So smart! I mean, jeez, everything you say is smart. Did you always use Ableton or did u try other DAWs before?
Aww you are so kind ✌️ I used couple of others but Ableton clicked most with me
I genuinely loled when the two chains guy appeared
Oh yeah that crunchhhhhh
Well, I know what I will be doing tonight :) Appreciate the knowledge 💚
Amazing video, thank you!!
Perfect I was wondering about some new ways to make rumble :)

@@Alice-Efe Thank you!
Top 💥 Alice 💪
can i use this vid for a tune ?❤❤❤❤
Where i find the second kick?
Hi, how make hard techno kicks from scratch?
The problem i always get is when i make a parallel mixer channel of my kick for creating the rumble, after i put my delay, reverb en low pass on, my rumble is always jumping out of key, how can i fix that?

that ableton theme is interesting , where did you find it ? the light one
That is not actually theme, it is just extra color FX to make it a bit more pleasent for presentation there.
damn that hybrid rumble is sexy af with the noises added
I thank God to for sending you.
As always writing a comment to support the channel
You are so kind and supportive, cheers to you! ❤
@@Alice-Efe ❤
Make a channel on transition journey . Please
Please name this software
right when i wanna make some death techno
That sounds interesting, good luck with it! 😊✌
Same! I have been trying to combine these two genres (death metal + techno) with limited results. What's your method?
Sounds like Tiesto in 2003-2004
Could Iisten to Alice explain production nuances all day long
wow
I just use the ones I bought from your pack of loops. Much easier.
That is definitely a good way to make them 😊✌️
2 CHAINZ..!
2 chainz!
🙃😊
I use KIKZILLA
