I’m interested those classes but I have problem with English, I’m CNA school right now, I read a lot that American speaker because I want to pass the License exam.
The school i went to, actually did a lot of practice tests with us! (With one being graded), so i felt very prepared to take the test for certification. I know for skills, i wrote the skill and the different steps of the skill on notecards, and tested myself, and well as having someone look home the cards, watch me do the skills and tell me if i missed anything!
Hi, I am Babu; I am planning on doing PCT. Also, I have just graduated from High School. Please tell me about the exam, which one to apply for, how to study for the exam, and more? Please.
You can be a cna! They are not required to do blood draws, only patient care (bed baths, helping with meals, cleaning, etc.). That would be perfect if you want to work in healthcare and not d blood draws
I literally just got a job offer as a CNA here at a hospital in Atlanta, for my department it says icu but I don't see many videos on that department. Do you know some of the task we would have to do in that department ? I seen a video of a can in the OR and she was mopping and just folding and im find with starting from the bottom but I would like to know what kind of things I may run into in the icu.
I actually just worked in an ICU on Saturday! I didn’t make a video, because i found it to be like any other tech job I’ve done, so making sure the room is stocked, food trays are passed, assist nurses with patient care (changing patients, blood sugars, vitals if needed, changing beds, washing patients, helping with toileting, etc.). The icu i worked in, only had 12 beds, so it’s a fairly small department, but idk how it is at other hospitals. I would also ask the nurses to let you watch them with meds, fluids etc. if you’re interested! I didn’t have to do any ivs, or blood draws (except to remove them), because with them being in the icu, they’d have an IV nurse do the insertions. But it should still keep your fairly busy!
@@_BriannaNicole_ thank you so much for the response I’m very excited to get started. It all depends on your experience! I’m not too familiar with medical assistants, but i do know that they also have the ability to do administrative work. If you’re doing direct patient care as a medical assistant (vitals, bed baths, dressing, changing, feeding, etc.) then i don’t see why not! You might just learn a few more extra things as a tech (blood draws and ivs), but there are usually trainings for those tasks anyways!
