First thing we must keep in our minds is that We are the Church of God, and going to church and being a part of it is something Bible tells us to do. It helps in spiritual growth, the encouragement we get from our sisters and brothers, the sermon we hear that is right for that very situation we are in and so many examples. God speaks to us both in our secret rooms with Him and through His people.
And yes, It’s never late to come back to Him

Along this journey I've seen it all being in ministry amd seeing the wrongs done there dealing with street preachers and people greed for money im.just grateful that God connected me with people who wanna show the truth.. amem

I just came back to church good friday. My little girl has real health problems. I fought the fear. 2 yrs ago on passover I stayed home. 2 yrs later passover weekend, good friday I knew it was time. It's not the people we are following. We follow God.

Amen!! I had consistently gone to church since getting saved and it was life changing..being with the people…but I did in all honesty get burnt out!! When Covid hit I got deeper into Gods Word and developed great discernment and understanding that I didn’t have before..Just me and Him..next level..and become Evangelical 💕 when I came back to church I seen that I never “left” I had still been in alignment with the body..even when I sometimes felt that I was far from them 💕✝️🙏🏽 Love this!!
It's not about going to a church It's about you being the church of christ. Upon this rock I will build my church he was talking about the body of christ us as the body so we won't go to hell . Because it says the gates of hell shall not prevail. Or shall not be open to us.
And to add on to that he said that the spirit that he gives us we don't need any other man to teach us because his spirit is truth . All we have to do is to get in his word and ask him to teach you and fast and pray . And then we don't have to wait on man to feed us milk when we can grow fast on his word for ourselves. The meat. At the last supper I will be bringing his meat we me or his word 😋
Sir, the church is a community not a building. We meet each Sunday cause God gave that day for rest. For us to find rest in him.

I guess the building is for he's lost sheep that need to get milk on sunday because they are not mature enough to learn God word for themselves by spending time with him every day and reading his word. That's how you grow in christ off of his meat which is his word . Which everyone should be reading and learn God's ways. for your self. And not waiting on sunday. Jesus died for us and we don't owe him no 10% we owe him our hold body as a living sacrifice and not just on Sunday's.
@@Keith-hz9zd yea that is absolutely right, God gave a day to find rest in him. We need to be on the mission field 24/7, but we need a place where we have accountability partners. We need community.

We all don't need to be hyper theologians and church leaders but we shouldn't be nominal in our faith. God works through 2 means the word and sacrament and so the covenant community is essential in our walk. We need our brothers brothers sisters Lone Wolf Christianity only hurts us. Which is why I'm very appreciative for artist like Flame, KB and Shai Linne that can still give you that heat but keep the gospel centered and no watered down gimmicky stuff.
Honestly? Hubby and I haven’t been since lockdown. We were going fairly often! Churches getting too politically involved. I want to be encouraged and keep my soul in check not about how the world going to hell in a hand basket and it’s my business: I get that talking and winning souls is important. But politics is not how a church is going to win souls. We haven’t gone back bc of this very issue. We have enough political agendas on media. We need spiritual 🥩!!!!!!!!!!!! #church @churches
