It's so frustrating having family and friends who are Christians and they refuse to speak the truth when faced with the ways of the world. They put a bubble around themselves and then one day the world comes to their front door and pops the bubble and then they wonder how we got here. Silence is an action of sitting on the fence and validating lies. The hard truth is that being a true follower of Jesus is not a comfortable life where you create a safe space for everyone you care about and shut out the world. The world doesn't respect your safe space so you must stand firm in the truth with love and compassion. Love isn't letting people live a complete lie so you don't hurt their feelings, it's guiding them towards the truth with compassion.
Well, we all shouldn't be surprised actually, He, the Lord Jesus Himself has said it in His Word, that they'll mock us, persecute us, hate us for His name's sake, and so on. All these just go to show that He's the Truth, because He's foretold it, and we're now witness to it as true believers. My prayer is for God to continually grant every true child of His to continually proclaim the Word of Truth, without any fear for whatever may come. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Screw them, they probably don't deserve you anyway. I have those kind of family and I am actually happier with them not around. Concentrate on making super friends and forget relatives. I have 2 really good friends I could call at 2 in the morning and trust me, it's better than toxic family that thinks it's entitled.

I was in Tesco, in the Uk, a few days ago. There were a couple of men (homosexual) who were stood in the queue. They had a tiny baby in a pram with them. The superstore staff were around them saying that they will be be brilliant parents. The ‘parents’ said that the little baby was 6 pounds, 2 ounces at its last weighing. Knowing how the UK is now, I feel so sad for that little baby - who’ll grow up maybe never knowing that homosexuality is an abomination to God. That little innocent baby, who has either been removed from its natural parents or who has been given up by its mother, may grow up to be homosexual, because he will never know any other way. We MUST ALWAYS proclaim the FULL gospel to EVERYONE. And we must pray for such as that tiny baby - their souls are depending on us!

Before I became a Christian I myself used the term "your living your truth" in😮 reaction to my oldest daughter announcing she was gay, my thought at the time was "well at least you won't have to deal with the" bullcrap from the men of her generation". What a huge mistake on my part! Yeah, that's true. It's easy to say God helped me. But it's hard to say Jesus helped me before everyone or in stage. I also fallen victim to these. I need to proclaim the name of Lord Jesus Christ, that he's the only way to Father. But it's hard, I will get marginalized.
I think things are worse now for young Christians. If you are young and support the word of God in any way, you will be austicised. However God expects you to be faithful.

Christ said the road is narrow. Being "narrow minded idiots", well it might fit that narrative. As I keep waking up everyday, I keep "waking up". Some things are obvious on how twisted twisted "truths" have gotten. I thank God I'm seeing out of the blind, and there are many others who are starting to see, but there will be many others who will choose convenience of acceptance. Fantastic sermon. I haven't heard a sermon like that for a while. Let the persecution come. I will NEVER deny Jesus. I will NEVER reject God for their worldview and will ALWAYS continue my path to have a better relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I get called uneducated all the time because I love debating people on the topic of christianity vs atheism. They all love to bring up how science disproves God. All these scientific theories that they believe in I always get them with the notion that their worldview is unprovable and will always be unproveable because God is the truth. We can't and will never EVER prove how life began because God IS the truth. And we can not replicate the works of God.
I worked for a large chemical company in East Tennessee, until I would NOT bow the knee to an LGBTQ couple and, worse, a VP that insisted I be “more inclusive.” I was, ultimately, fired, but - Not because I went on the offensive. Not because I was argumentative. Not because I referenced the Bible. I simple would not accept this as part of my workplace. What’s sad, though, is that I recently learned MOST of our church’s elder board supports this company. :(

I was encouraged to retire from my job early. Many family members don’t want to talk to me anymore. All because I won’t be anti God.

Christians that have the same world view as the world are not following God and trying to build there own following and throne. 1 John 5 v 19.

Christ said the road is narrow. Being "narrow minded idiots", well it might fit that narrative. As I keep waking up everyday, I keep "waking up". Some things are obvious on how twisted twisted "truths" have gotten. I thank God I'm seeing out of the blind, and there are many others who are starting to see, but there will be many others who will choose convenience of acceptance. When you look around more and more, you will start to feel marginalized. I can only imagine how Jesus felt and dealt during His time on earth.

Hate to break it to ya, but if there is a god, which there is absolutely no evidence there is one, and you think "the meek" are people who call themselves Christians, a group that has dominated civilization for well over 1000yrs, and been directly responsible for more death and suffering inflicted on humans than any other single reason in the history of our species, then you done bumped your head, and better reconsider who the "meek" truly are, and who the oppressor ruling class is!! Hint, the latter is Christians!!

I get through by simply not participating. Im older though, i think it gets easier as you get older because youve been tested so much already and you really dont care what other people think. Youve also learned foundational truths during your life that give you a firm footing in the storm.

Fantastic sermon. I haven't heard a sermon like that for a while. Let the persecution come. I will NEVER deny Jesus. I will NEVER reject God for their worldview and will ALWAYS continue my path to have a better relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I get called uneducated all the time because I love debating people on the topic of christianity vs atheism. They all love to bring up how science disproves God. All these scientific theories that they believe in I always get them with the notion that their worldview is unprovable and will always be unproveable because God is the truth. We can't and will never EVER prove how life began because God IS the truth. And we can not replicate the works of God.
If you are of the world, the world will love you. If you are of the Kingdom of God, the world will hate you for you are not of the world

I worked for a large chemical company in East Tennessee, until I would NOT bow the knee to an LGBTQ couple and, worse, a VP that insisted I be “more inclusive.” I was, ultimately, fired, but - Not because I went on the offensive. Not because I was argumentative. Not because I referenced the Bible. I simple would not accept this as part of my workplace. What’s sad, though, is that I recently learned MOST of our church’s elder board supports this company. :(

*I remember a comfy church mentality. So long as you acted a certain, accepted fashion, you were saved right. I learned quickly they told lies, regarding my reputation. I was even mocked for praying in their church prayer room before Sunday night service. I had just came from a McDonald's Restaurant in their little city. Staff there refused to serve me coffee. I was to buy a cup of coffee before entering church to pray. I was told to leave church, later. Retired upon Philippine Island Territories? Many did not want me. I was white and did not openly accept homosexuality. I stay at home.*
When we hear we cannot use the name of Jesus, it just strengthens my faith as I am assured that he is God. The world and the ruler of this world hate his name.
