I am a Christian. At this point, I can say that I deeply understand why more and more Christians are leaving the church. This sermon is an example, it makes us get caught in a vicious circle, with no way out. Throughout human history, the age of marriage for men and women was around 12-16, that is when the body began to change for the need to reproduce. Nowadays, largely due to economic pressure, it is very difficult for people to find a spouse and get married before the age of 30. So for about 15 years, young people are under a lot of pressure because of the conflict between sexual needs and "moral" condemnation. I don't think anyone can get through it without "sinning". Pastors have been through this stage for many years and they have forgotten all the memories of what they have experienced, so the things they teach today are all empty. Help young people so they have more opportunities to marry early in their 20s, which is also the stage when they can have the healthiest children.

After no thoughts or feelings of lust for months I’ve relapsed recently and I feel so weak and like I have betrayed my promise to God

EVERY woman I know HATES having to go to work. EVERY one of them "wish they had a MAN to care for them", so THEY (the woman) can CHOOSE to either stay home with their kids OR go to work. Whatever suits them in their whim at the moment. Women do not know right from wrong, women only know comfort vs dis-comfort. there may be some who are solid thoughtful women, maybe, Ive met a handful over my life time. However, women folk are hardwired for their comfort and convenience. We here are way too soft because life is too easy. This is the reason God in His kindness provides suffering and discomfort from time to time.
