I’m Eastern Orthodox Christian and it’s so refreshing to see a Protestant leader who’s not effeminate, cucked, and sold out to the social BS of modern society (LGBQT, wokeism, female clergy, etc.) Voddie really embodies what a Christian man should be: Robust, masculine, confident, well spoken, humble and well dressed. Churches and communities need powerful leaders like him that are learned men and aren’t afraid to enforce our Christian boundaries against Satan and the World. God bless him.

This sermon is such a blessing straight from my Father in heaven. This broke me down and opened my heart anew to my Savior Jesus Christ, Our Father in Heaven, and the blessed Holy Spirit whom has never left me nor forsaken me for a single second of my life, through all of my ups and downs, ins and outs, faithful and faithless times. I am in eternal debt to my God in Heaven and will serve him for all of eternity, forsaking the god of this world, my flesh and my sin nature. All by the power and grace of the Heavenly Father, amen!
I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real, it's impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me; it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

Oh Voddie, how true those words. Im 90, i am miserable that i can no longer, for several reasons, read the BIBLE. I listen to very few preachers, fortunately for me, you are one of them. But I need to listen, more than once a day because I need the word of God every day. Every day i learn, I never want to stop listening and learning. I am so grateful to have God the Father His Beloved Son the Lord Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit in my life. Thank you for this Blessed sermon. There are different Lutheran denominations. Some still hold to biblical truth. On RUclips there's a guy with a channel called ask the pastor from curryville (I'm probably spelling it wrong) Texas, and there are others too. I think the Missouri synod is the one that has held to the bible instead of selling out to modern culture. I hope I got that right.

Im so tired of my flesh, I'm so evil i don't want to deal with it anymore, i keep betraying my Father. I feel hopeless. I always question His ways and fall into sin because of it, and realize that I should just trust in His wisdom even though things seem unfair to me such as original sin. My family has made a business off of embarrassing one another through Christ and their Entertainment thru Army Clauses! Very encouraging to hear.

THIS CHURCH IS MASTERED BY THE DEVIL; BECAUSE JESUS IS OUTSIDE; HOW THIS SITUATION CAME TO HAPPENS??? THEY WERE SELF-DECEIVED BY THEIR BIBLE KNOWLEDGE, THEIR VERY WISE BOOKS FROM THEIR PROPHET TO WHOM THEY LISTEN SELECTIVELY.
BUT AMONG THEM IS THE REMNANT: NEVER FORGET THAT; SOON THE BIG TEST WILL COME OVER THE SDA CHURCH: PERSECUTION, YES! GOD IS LOVE: OUR AIM IS TO BE LIKE HIM: LOVE TO OUR MOST HIGH HUMAN CAPACITY:Read 1 John to understand this. The whole book and you will be loving, sinless real sons and daughters of God.
I always knew we were sinful by nature. But I didn't know we were THIS SINFUL. Now I know why I slack in my prayer life and in reading God's Word. So grateful for the sermon. Praying that many more will discover this sermon.🙏
This is a comfort to hear, the more we understand our true nature we die to self so that God is glorified more. We grow closer to God when we deny ourselves able to pick up our cross and focus all the attention to Him

I've listened to this sermon a number of times now, but without commenting. However, I feel prompted to do just that now. This is one of the greatest sermons I've ever heard since I got saved, and it has impacted my life greatly. And if you've ever shed a tear "Due to God's conviction" while listening to this sermon, then we share that in common, coz I've done so a number of times as well.

To an unbeliever, the things of God sound like foolishness, but to the true Christian they are Gods very words that breath life into us and cause conviction of sin. Sin separates us from God. We all sin so we are all guilty. We all lie, we’ve all stolen in some way, we’ve all had inappropriate thoughts. The punishment for sin is death according to the law. Jesus paid the penalty for sin when He died on the cross. We stand before God, the ultimate judge as guilty. But when you trust in Jesus, he literally pays our fees and charges so to say, so that we don’t have to.

This man has opened up my understanding of my salvation. For almost 56 years I lived in fear that I had somehow messed up my salvation.
I was raised hard shell, primitive evangelical Baptist.
I swore, once I left home that I would Never taken the door off a Baptist Church ever again. Except for weddings and funerals, I kept to that.
But RUclips fed Voddie Baucham in its algorithmto me and it changed my understanding and erased my fear.
Just the relief of knowing that I played no part in my salvation means that the only being responsible for my salvation is God Almighty.. And God doesn't make mistakes which means that I Am Saved! Praise God Almighty, I am Saved.
Praise Jesus!!! I’m so glad for you! I believed I had messed up my salvation too. No matter how many pastors I spoke to I could not be convinced. It’s tough being here on planet earth. Sin is our biggest problem and Christ Jesus is the only way to the Father. And we still have to continually obey HIM and share HIS word to others. It’s not easy but through HIM, His Holy Spirit we can make it to HIM.

A Phenominal Sermon, as expected from Voddie. I have watched it countless times. But what stood out to me was how almost all of the congregation is reading his Bible and hanging on every word the Preacher says. Just beautiful!! If only this generation had a similar passion and desire for the Scriptures and for God.

I worship in The Seventh Day Adventist church, the only church that teaches to believe and obey The Whole Bible. Jesus himself wrote The Ten Commandments; how can it be possible not to believe it!! Exodus 31:18, 32:16. It's written; in heaven we will be worshiping on The Sabbath Day, Isaiah 66: 23. And what about Revelation 12:17, and 22:24. How can people be soon blind?

Around 4:50 speaking of the Holy Trinity, Never could grasp it until Father gave me a revelation maybe just to grasp it? “Let us make man in our own image in our own likeness” phrasing.. Father. Son, The Holy Spirit= were made in His image/Likeness The flesh (Christ God was manifested into the flesh) our soul (The Father we can’t see Him but we know His ways His plan His personality. (The Holy Spirit) our spirit that belongs to God. We can never see The Holy Spirit but we can feel it and we can also be gifted with discernment of spirits through The Holy Spirit (we are made as The Holy Trinity)

As I grow in my salvation, the Holy Spirit in this man has made me understand what my salvation means. What being saved means. I'm glad God sought me out even as far born, as far as I dwelled and grew in sin He saved me. Jesus is my Lord and personal saviour. I love you Yahweh. May God seek each and every soul who desires Him genuinely. Call unto Him he will dive right in to your heart and you will feel the power of the Holy spirit, have fear of God and be always careful not to grieve the Holy spirit. I love you Jesus.

Sin causes these thing no one is exempt form hardships in this life, but we have a Heavenly Father who helps us through hardships.
My brother was listening to a song. And I thought it spoke really well on the gospel. I just recently learned it on guitar/ukulele. It’s called “To the Cross I Cling” by Matt Boswell.
