Voddie Baucham recently visited Toowoomba, Australia, where he shared the reality of the Resurrection of Jesus at the "Resurrection: Fact or Fiction?" pre Easter event.

I attended the G3 conference in Atlanta, GA September 2020. Voddie Baucham was there, holding a meet and greet line.
When I reached the front of that long line, I shook his hand and asked how long he’d stood around to meet people. 4 hours the day before and approaching 4 hours that day.
Just sayin’…hope you get to shake his hand on this side of eternity, then compare notes on the other side.

What he says between 4:48 and 5:58 is so true. I've always found it very ironic that the world considers us as ignorant for our beliefs when they can not see the clear truth. We are lost without the resurrection! Great message!
That is not true. Historians would laugh at this. I'm not saying that resurrection absolutely did not happen, I'm just saying that there are way more convincing evidence about other events that happened in the past. So his argument is just bad.

I had planned to be cremated until he said that cremation is a pagan ritual. I didn't know that. Have changed my funeral arrangements. I learn something new from this great man with each talk! Thank you sir.
I literally less than an hour before I watched this my sister gave me a present....a necklace of the tree of life with my dad's ashes baked into it along with a matching bracelet. I don't know what to do now because its neat but I don't know what to do with it now. I will say unfortunately it wasn't our choice or even my dad's to be cremated but rather it was my grandmother who was in control and ultimately didn't want to pay for his burial and funeral so we had no formal service and then she had him cremated because that was the "cheapest" thing! I am lost for words because she supposedly is a Christian and my grandfather even was a preacher and went to seminary when they were married and I am sure she has heard this before but it must not mean much because she has had everyone else cremated YET she is being buried?!?! I always knew she wasn't the greatest person but now I even see through her more....
@Brandie Hopkins Thats strange. But keep in mind the remains of the dead will invariably decompose, as many millions already have. So the state of the body will not hinder the resurrection.

At the resurrection it will not make any difference whether a person’s body has been buried or cremated. God knows how to raise the body, either in the resurrection of life or the resurrection of condemnation (John 5:28-29).
I love his preaching yet he also believes a child should be punished for being shy. Yes, kids are to listen to parents yet every situation has to be considered. Read 1 Cor, 13:11 even verse title says Ministry gifts must be governed by love. Plus, Col, 3:12-24 (21). Nobody is perfect, not even him. Me having a degree in child developement, he us way off on this matter.
I pray that Dr. Voddie Baucham will visit Australia Melbourne soon by God’s grace. It would be a privilege to sit under the sound of his voice in person.

I had use cremation for my husband of 46 years.. I didn't have the money to bury him. When I die my children will put our ashes both in a biodegradable box, put us in the ground and plant a tree hopefully one that grows flowers. When it cost sometimes over 10,000 dollars to put someone in the ground. To 4,000 with a service for cremation. We all don't have that kind of money, so I pray for forgiveness 🙏

Since Christ is The Word of God Made Flesh (John 1:14) and there is only Truth in The Word of God (Thessalonians 2:13), then there is nothing false in Christ Jesus. For He is Truth (John 1:17). And since in Truth, Jesus Christ declared He would rise again (Mark 8:31), then Jesus Christ did in Truth & Fact rise from the dead. Believe in The Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Bible doesn't say to not burn the bodies of the dead. So I don't believe I'm going to be in trouble if I choose to be cremated. And we are no longer bound to the old covenant that separated one from others...where Men couldn't cut their hair and women couldn't have their hair in braids etc. I believe God would have made that CLEAR if it was forbidden also. Anyways I LOVE your preaching!! 🙌🏾

Hello doctor Voddie. I do love Christ so enjoy your teaching. I have exposed myself to a lot of teachings on the net. Its opened my mind a lot, to the point its has made me wonder how can God love a lost and created human. He need us not. How can he love us, why would his son to be slaughtered for our sins? I'm feeling confused at this point.
He created us in his image. He loves us because we are his creation and he chooses to love us. Why do you need more than that? That’s the definition of Gods love it’s called agape love. Love is a choice. He chooses to love His children. Don’t all parents love their children even after they do something wrong?
After sin was brought into the world it separated us from God. In order for us to regain that relationship and be reconciled to God he sent His son to take on all of our sins so that we could be saved. He received our punishment that He didn’t deserve and we could never ever pay and we receive mercy and forgiveness through His sacrifice that we don’t deserve by believing in Him. By believing the Gospel, in the Son of God.

Religious people often tend to avoid opposing arguments, when it would be better to do the opposite. If the only way you can hold onto your beliefs is to avoid any opposition, your beliefs are most likely not based on reality.

Will the resurrection happen again? Or does everyone just go to heaven? If so why does the bible talk about the meek inhabiting the earth and them residing forever on it? Will gods kingdom be here on earth as is mentioned in Daniel 2:44, Revelation 21:3,4, and in the Sermon on the mount in the lords prayer where we pray for gods will to take place on earth as it is in heaven? How does one interpret these verses?

Love Voddie but at 30:08 the statement he makes about "hard core 7th day Sabbatharians Jews and they BEGAN TO MEET on the 1st day of the week" is misleading. To be clear, they met that ONE day because of the resurrection however, Paul's custom was to reason out of the scripture on the Bible Sabbath with both Jews and Gentiles. So the inference that Hardened Sabbatarians began to meet on the 1st day of the week doesnt mean other than for the occasion of ressurrection that Jews met on sunday as a day of worship or the Sabbath (they continued the Biblical 7th day Sabbath worship).

And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
Acts 18:4
And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
Non Christian Jews met on Sabbath, hence Paul had to go and meet them on Sabbath. Paul "reasoned" with non Christians on Sabbath. Christians met on the first day of the week.

If God didn't exist. Then there wouldn't be any reason for Satan to blasphemy Jesus. Or God by blasphemy against the trinity. Or satanist wouldn't blasphemy against Jesus or use an upside down cross to insult the lord our creator..if Jesus nor God existed
Dust you were made and dust you return. Although cremation may be a pagan practice and idea, I’m not fully convinced that it is a disrespect of the body. Our flesh will decay over time in the grave. If burial is necessary for the Christian then wouldn’t it be prudent to practice preservation of the flesh? Maybe in the form of mummification is what we should practice, which is practiced by ancient Egyptians (pagans) and therefore our humanly bodies will be mummified and prepared for resurrection. If God can turn only our bones into a glorified body then surely he can just as well make ash from cremation into a glorified body. I believe making a statement that it is necessary for your body to be buried and not cremated is dangerous to those of your family members who died in Christ and will not be raised due to that,carry’s no hope and arises doubt of their salvation. Ultimately this puts a limit on Gods power! Either way resurrection is absolutely true and Jesus Christ is alive today and constantly interceding on our behalf based on the faith we have in him and his resurrection. God bless you all and find Christ who provides eternal life. So be it!
I have listened to many “Serious Pastors” - John MacArthur, Adrian Rogers, David Jeremiah, Allen Jackson, D.James Kennedy, and for the very first time since I became Born Again - I have heard that Cremation is against Christianity. ‘’WRONG”…. The Bible DOES NOT teach that. Does a Born Again Believer who just got burnt to toast in a house fire, or a soldier in Iraq or Vietnam not lose their Christianity because they got Blown-Up into a million pieces? This is ridiculous. What about all those beautiful Christians who were nothing but ashes during 911. I binge watch this man but THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH CREMATION.. According to scripture, Acts 1:26, the Apostles chose Matthias to replace Judas AFTER Christ ascended. One must compare the scriptures fully and carefully to arrive at the harmony of the Gospels. Matthew, Mark and Luke have Jesus appearing to the ELEVEN after His resurrection. In John's account Thomas was missing at one of Jesus' appearances so there would have been TEN of the Apostles present. When Jesus appears to the ELEVEN after His resurrection then Thomas would have been present and Judas would have been missing. Shalom in Yeshua.

Estubius was a very respected church historian who wrote about the death of the apostle Peter in his book Ecclesiastial History, written in AD 325. Estubius' source is a church historian named Origen, who wrote in AD 230, "Peter appears to have preached through Pontus, Galatia, Bithynia, Cappadocia, and Asia, to the Jews that were scattered abroad; who also, finally coming to Rome, was crucified with his head downward, having requested of himself to suffer in this way (Ecclesiastial History 3:1). There is no biblical reason a Christian shouldn't be cremated. I was surprised to hear Voddie speak so harshly about it. Nothing but love for Voddie, but I respectfully disagree on this point.

@@firstnamelastname2552 my point is there is no biblical reason why a believer in Christ should be cremated. This has been a tradition adapted from the Anglo Saxon era and also predominantly Roman. Judeo Christian traditions do not accept such. The body is deemed sacred since it is created in the image of God. But unfortunately due to the lack of understanding and new age culture alarmingly seepjng into the fabric of the church, these are now embraced. Some Christians even have a regard towards yoga and don't even think of its origins. May the Lord help us.
@@ShishoDede If Christians are required to be buried in the same way Christ was buried, we should all be put into a tomb that was hewn out of rock because Jesus was not buried in a coffin and put 6 feet under the dirt. Yes, we are made in the image of God but when you die your body returns to the earth, one way or another. Cremation just speeds up the process. Many people live in large cities where there isn't room for millions of graves. Cremation is logical for this reason and it is never forbidden in scripture. We're free to do whichever we choose.
