Why is it that Jesus said he would spend three days and three days in the tomb but it is taught that Jesus died on Friday but rose on Sunday morning. Please make the calculation. Why is it that Jesus said he would spend three days and three days in the tomb but it is taught that Jesus died on Friday but rose on Sunday morning. Please make the calculation. Didn't Isaiah said Messiah would be cut off mid week. That would suggest as the apostle John said the preparation day John said Jesus died was a High day. A High day sabbath can fall any day of the week, hence it would be more logical that he died Wednesday and rose Sabbath. A Jewish day is from sunset to sundown ...if Mary came to the tomb while it was yet dark and found the Messiah had already risen how could it be Sunday morning. Please explain. This seem as if we are holding on to the doctrine of Rome. The Sunday doctrine The Sabbath is the Lord's day, wouldn't he rise on his day... Come on now I expect better from Sabbath keepers who are " Well learned"

My friend, the movie he described was not the main point of his sermon but it had the resurrection in it. Very minor part and had no bearing on the sermon. But if you ever speak to people, doing this like “amazing facts” is a great way to start things out. Sorry you don’t like it but it works.
He speaks on the resurrection for near 50 minutes and all you cared to comment on is the first few minutes about a movie you never heard of. Lol.
