Louie was so kind and so very funny without being vulgar, or mean. I just loved him so and sure will miss him being in the world. You were the best Louis!!
Thanks for posting this video, I love Louie Anderson. I was very sad to hear he passed away, I have enjoyed his comedy for many years and he will always be one of my favorite comedians.
Classy guy. Kind of reminds me of Ralph kramden....Jackie Gleason. My parents and grandparents watched that live.. people have to adapt now adays and watch twilight zone and cosmos.. just to adapt. It's a 3d world in technicolor now. Or is it? String theory? I am 661 and still have things to learn. You're never too old. When I was born in 1964, no shows were in color then. I might make it to 68 if I am lucky as Louie was. Rip. It's hard to laugh for me lately, but you still from the 5th, brought me to tears tonight. Thanks big Lou.
Thank you for posting this!! I have it taped on beta, back when my folks had a giant satellite dish in the backyard. But I don't have a beta machine anymore to play it on. So, thank you for this. 🥰
Jesus I've been looking for this for since 1999! I had it once but the vhs disappeared. It's not too be found anywhere, until now! I can't begin to thank whoever posted this! My uncle who passed was a big fan of louie and he loved this particular show, comedy on canvas.
I'm 45 now, and I can remember that show being the driving force behind my comedic ambitions. Louie, three stooges, were always playing in mine or my cousins houses. Thanks again for sharing, it flooded my mind with memories!
You're very welcome, I'm thrilled I've brought a lot of people happiness with this. It seems like a lot of us grew up watching this and have a lot of fond memories attached to it ❤️
I thought that this one particular family, when I was growing up, was the perfect family. I went over to their house for a sleepover, and holy crap! Screaming, yelling, throwing food.... Just like home. Lol!
Thanks Louie. Loved all of it, including philosophical things. The stage set design and the exit music, I may have questions though . Keep resting peacefully .
Thanks so much for uploading this!! I taped this when it was on, back in 1990, and I haven't had a VCR to play it in over 20 years. I lost that tape back then, too. I love this one, and it's been impossible to find. Every year or so, I'd do a search on RUclips to see if someone had uploaded it yet, and here we are!
Thanks so much for posting! I've been searching for this special for the past year and it's not available anywhere. I actually joined a facebook group that some of Louie's family are a part of and I think it was his sister and niece were looking for a copy for me. Thank you again, I love this.
Awesome! Happy to help out! This was actually my family's personally recorded VHS copy that we made and as kids we watched it dozens of times. I still repeat a few things from this special that I didn't realize came from Louie. He brought happiness to me and my family for so long and I'm sure he did for many others. RIP Louie Anderson
26:30 that whole segment is happening today still but with fentanyl. Also I went to Walgreens the other day and the carts had all been stolen by the homeless so I had to carry all the items in my hands lmao

Fantastic standup.
One of the best I've ever seen!
I have 2 standup videos. This, and Joe Piscopo. Somehow I knew you were commenting on Louie when I saw the notification 😭
@@MsBee Louieee, he says.
He was comic that a lot of people could relate to.
Miss him...
@@MsBee I have never seen any standup by Pespoco. I bet it's good. I remember him on SNL

The first I heard of Louie was the Life with Louie cartoon in the 90s. Loved that show

You're welcome, it's from my own personal recording. Been a favorite of mine since I was 10 years old in 1990 :)

You are welcome! The world could use some Loiue these days, that's for sure.
Too bad the Estate of Louie couldn't release all his shows on DVD, but at least they live on RUclips.😁
His jokes always were funny to me--my era! Wish he was still here making jokes.

Turn up the sound
That's as loud as it gets... This was ripped from an old crappy VHS, with an old crappy, mono VHS player.

Louie was gay? 🙄
No, but who cares if he was?
