Thanks for watching, from all of us at Matt's off-road recovery! - Авто/Мото
Reminds me of a common joke in Germany.
A truck driver calls his boss and says "Sorry, but I broke my exterior mirror." The boss replies: "Why would you call me for that. Just fix that damn thing."
The driver replies "Well, I can't, because the truck lies on top of it."
Trucker approved ✔️. Lol
Echt witzig! 😂
We have the same in England
@Gryff Longdong I had to travel abroad to be allowed to make that joke
I think that’s funny. Maybe because it is 1:45am with a Scotch in had. All kidding aside love your channel.
Matt: "When we got the call, he said he had a flat tire..."
Me: "That tires looks like it's laying pretty flat on the ground to me."
😂 , I never thought of it that way. Makes sense. Looks pretty flat. 😂 It would of been better to be more informative to The Service company ( Matt ) than not give them more information. The More he knows the better prepared he can be for the situation & the bill will be cheaper because you made his life easier , more prepared , and quicker job. I don’t know what it is about people , they think they are helping themselves by being vague about stuff to a service company , thinking it will help them & bill will be cheaper But it’s Quite the opposite. Makes Life More difficult for service person = Higger Bill ! People , when calling for service with ANYBODY Give them the most information u can. Good or bad. Your Service technician wil be able to do a Better , quicker job & be able to give u the Best information he can & your bill will be cheaper.
Hahahahaha. Good one.
its only flat at the bottom part 😂
Yep that tires flat; on the ground.
I can't imagine how this happened on a relatively wide and flat trail.....
This channel (Matt's Off Road) is waaay better than any of those heavily produced, so called reality shows on network TV.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure even Heavy D is mostly faked senerios anymore.
Lizzy is amazing....accomplished, hard working, strong!
Yep, she really does smooth out some of the rough edges.
Haha. Matt: "We got a little more tongue weight than I like".
Corvair: "The sky looks pretty today".
I can't help but to think that Matt may be exceeding the GCWR of a Corvair Lakewood by a fair amount.
@@straybullitt Honestly any factory recommendation would not be applicable. It's a fairly long car and the rear axle can handle the load. But mushy suspensions are good for rock crawling and bad for towing.
@@raydelien7947
That would be my argument as well.
I'm not so sure that a DOT officer would agree though....
@@straybullitt be correct
Dot = hiway nazis
Add some airbags might help a little
@3:45 - I was a bit surprised! First, Matt didn't tell Lizzy "OK Lizzy, we're gonna put you inside and I want you to keep the wheels turned all the way left until we get you flipped back over." Second, no one suggested turning the trailer on its side and strapping it to the truck - then rolling them over together.
good one!
I actually was thinking the same thing lol
The trailer idea is great 🤣
Then you would have two broken axels.
They just weren't thinkin', I guess.
I really do like how your team is treated like family, I started an auto repair shop on our property, and my oldest daughter Hope said that she is the business manager. It makes me feel like I'm making a difference in her life, other than just being Dad. Thank ya so much for sharing your story and family with us. Much love from Newport Washington.
Good to see someone here from the NE WA neighborhood. I'm in Japan now, but originally from over the hill from you in Stevens County.
These guys inspired me to take care of the Californian's that are invading Spokane!
From one professional fabricator too a tow guy, from what I see you did a fine job building the coolest corvair ever, it looks solid.
Any man that treats his dog as well as Matt does is worth a big thumbs up. Cheers to all of you!!
Yes, but she really wanted to sit in the back seat.
@@mickm6309 Or it was just a shorter jump.
Could'nt agree more, you can see he's a dog lover :)
Yeah I also noticed the gentle caring way he lifted his trusty friend into the back of the vehicle...as a dog lover I really appreciated that.
Especially letting an unleashed dog wander around when you're tipping a 4,000 lbs truck over. Dog Owner of the Year!
The Morvair really needs to have an onboard air compressor to air up tires.
Easy to put one, then while you at it put am air horn in to.
And the trailer needs a perm battery and straps in the box.
It amazes me how unprepared they are. They need an aluminum jack, straps, compressor, a come-along, pry bar and they would be set LOL =)
Not sure it would have helped this one lol
Why just a cheap cigarette lighter air compressor would work really
love your stuff, you have great people.
it’s like watching a small symphony and you are the conductor and you know how to get the most out of your people to prompt them, get the job done and allow them to learn.
I have watched a lot of your videos. Your entire crew always does a great job no matter how difficult a job it is.
Never thought I will be addicted to recovery videos... but they are so awesome. Love your work. You guys are legends.
same
Tell me about it! 1 year after I subscribed and I have decided to check if I have missed one... why???? I really don't know! I think in a way is knowing things will always work out... I trust them: "we'll get them out!"
Same
My first introduction to these was those Diesel guys. But I didn't like how they were wild for the sake of the videos. Then I just came across this channel the other day and I haven't stopped watching!!
I just found out about Matt's channel. And now it's 3 am and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. My wife is pissed by the way. And I have already planned for a similar business in MN.
"I like bridges , I burn a lot of bridges" So funny I love Rudy...
He is saying that because no friends
@@bern6984 Why no friends? Not even a girlfriend?
This boy needs to get taken.
At 19:09 is that a "trail mod" on the driver rear door?
That's how I roll. I don't just burn my bridges, I blow them up.
I think it was referencing randy leaving MORR
Thank you, Lizzy for some fun times. cool times and everything else. All the best to you and your future. 🙂🙂🙂💚💚💚.
Your pup seems really happy to be part of the team. Supervising every move. Blessings from a new subscriber from South Eastern Australia, Dot
Rudy: "We're trying to eat better" Matt: "I want biscuits and gravy and a Mountain Dew." 😂😂😂
And water 🤷🏻♂️ 😂
That's how he maintains his girlish figure
He did say and water..lol
Can't get any better than that.
@@terrydouglas5008 That's what I was thinking Biscuits and Gravy pretty good eats
I admire a man, or woman for that matter, who has the ability to improvise and solve problems. Well done.
@Hello Scott how are you doing
Seems carrying a few normal tools would help.
Just found your channel, very impressive work. You guys prove that you don't need a million dollar wrecker. Thanks for the videos.
This family has a strong work ethic which is a great thing these days! God bless you all!
The dog was like the hell I am making the jump, carry me dammit.
Cue in here: "Carry me my wayward son......."
I think she saw how the truck was tied on the trailer and she said heck no!
She wanted to get on the back seat and I think climbed through as soon as Matt lifted her in 😎
Well sir you have a dissision to make! Do i lower the backso the dog can get in or leave them home?
I’m amazed at how quiet the Morvair is on the highway
Smoooth af
Look at all the space Lady has now!!
You'd think those big tires would howl on tarmac. Especially with just 8psi.
@@TrevorDennis100 Well, Matt said 8 pounds.....as if 5 pounds matters.
Yeee he said it rolls alotttt better on the highway than the banana
Every time I watch an episode, I learn something new, great work as always.
Matt i will like to thank you. You bring me a lot of memories from my father inlaw, may he RIP. Your sound affects, and your singing, also when you started to use your blue radio and you made the comment of another thing to lose, those are little things he would of said, Stay blessed and your family and friends..peace,love and happiness
the 'Vair's looking sicker than ever. Never thought Id see a wagon built like that, but boy does it deliver
Anyone old enough to know a Corvair to see one hooked up to a trailer towing a loaded F150 had to have been scratching their head.
Ok, that last winch technique was super impressive 🤣
That was expert level
Your channel is truly A-Game !
You guys don't do drama for views, and keep it down to earth!
You guys are so good at problem solving. Well done. The dog’s so good. A real part of the team. 🙋♂️🇬🇧
"This could go one of two ways. It could either go good or it could go bad."
Yep! That's been my experience, too!
There is a Jim Webb and a son that pull mini rod tractors.
That is how those go as well.
Either good or bad.
@Hello Jim how are you doing
Loved how Lizzy explained the tie down situation she is just absolutely adorable
The ingenuity of this crew is absolutely amazing.
Love seeing how you figure out all these scenarios. Matt you are a genius! The Morrvair is a beast.
The WD reference was fantastic. Great work everyone, that definitely took some ingenuity to load up.
What time in the video?
@@Worthpopcorn861 right at the very end
Like 20:00 lol
I saw it, thanks
I love how they threw a Matt's Off Road Recovery license plate on the F-150.
front and back
Probably figured out that's way easier than editing out someone's plate later, lol.
He just bought it and it didn't have any! Lol
Thats so they don't have to blur it out
Yep , I saw that too. Wayyy easier than editing & blurring time. Blurring takes sooo much time to render. I did it once in you tube editor on one of my vids and it took overnight to render. It sucked.
Love to see your wholesome crew working so well together with your different personalities and minds. My favorite on the crew: The dog
Matt you’re so brilliant! You always find a way!! Awesome job!!💪🏻💥👏🏼😎👍🏽🎉
Good MORRing all. Matt, where’s Randy? I hope all is well. He’s a part of your team and adds to it. I really look forward to; Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. Everyone stay safe and have a good day.
@Hello William how are you doing
He was fired.
Dog is watching truck being loaded and just walks away like " i want no part of this" 😄
I love watching a true professional at their craft.
I like it how you keep your composure and never stress out ! Hi from Réunion Island, Indian OCean.
“Pig Pen this is the Rubber Duck...” a CW McCall reference is always the right choice Matt!
He’s 10 on the floor, strokin’ the bore with the seat cover startin’ to gain
Lmfao that Wistling diesel picture at the end I'm dead
You should go watch his last video. He finally destroyed that pile. 😂
Loved it
As always great job ,enjoy all the hard work that your family does .I have been stuck at home but now and then get away to hunt deer and hogs hear in Texas. Recovering from shoulder surgery and now damm sciatica nerve pain kicking my ass .later and good skills have been entertaining me, keep them coming.
You guys are amazing. Improv skills off the charts . Fav u tube channel by far. Im sitting here commenting while hooked up to iv for chemo. Ur making my day thanks
Matt: “Do a small bump!”
My head: The job isn’t gonna get done if ya’ll start celebrating early!
Glad I wasn’t the only one.
😂😂😂
Yeah I admit I had the same thought. Just a small one right? Pinky sized in the shape of our initials.
I thought it was to help them think / work harder?
Y'all are funny 🤣
This recovery company is a testament to how tough and versatile the Jeep Cherokee is.
It sure is after you upgrade everything on it.
Lol
And pree 2000s
It’s not that the Cherokee is a good vehicle. It’s just a cheap easily and readily available platform to build from
P😊
I enjoy your videos and Casey LaDelle recovery. Interesting how so well trained and professional in knowing just the best way to get people moving again.
Lizzy for President! She is an inspiration for every American. Thanks for the great, and entertaining videos.
I love this channel and you guys because you DONT screw up your videos with needless music !!! Thx Guys *KEEP IT REAL !!!*
Oh the musc is still there, just so low you barely notice half the time, unless they need something for an interlude or for the drone footage, then they raise it a bit, before bedding it back down. Most of the time, you barely notice its there, unlike many channels where they don't always bed the music enough.
Or the needless chatter....I hate when they over narrate “And here is another angle showing the underside of the flat tire with bits of gravel and blah blah blah”.
The whole production crew has a great feel for what works on RUclips. I commend them!
You gotta respect Matt's philosophy, "Well it could go two ways, it could go good or bad." LOL Thanks Matt
I read this at that exact moment. Spooky
I enjoy watching your videos, I know I will ALWAYS SEE A JOB WELL DONE!!!! All while watching your DOGS ENJOY THEMSELVES IN A SAFE, SUPERVISED, AND VERY DOG FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT!!!! Keep up the good 👍😁 work!!!
I love the way that your team is, they're very good at the job and you have a great work ethic and thanks for the way you are, I would love to come over and meet you. I am 64 years old and I love the way you live you have given me hope so much and I would like to drive some of the things you do. Thank you so much.
All the times I've thought I wish they had radios. First time I see them used, I see I was wrong. ;)
They have cheap radios . And no straps and no battery for the winch and no floor Jack . Other than that, a smooth operation .
You should have just fixed the flats and left.... maybe next time they'd be more spacific.
The big story was the dog! Did you see that beautiful pup? Love that sweet Lady.
Lol…what a time warp!! I had this pop up, and started watching, without realising it was 2 years old. Straight away, I thought “Gee, Matt looks fresh today….and Hey, how about Lizzie!? With her hair out she looks younger….”. then I saw Lady, and was “WTF is going on here?”.
Checked date and all became clear! Great episode. Old days stuff!
Rob, Tasmania
Edit: But Ed still looking exactly the same! Fresh faced, strapping young fella!
I must say, using that winch to lift the back of the truck was brilliant
A hi-lift farm jack would've been faster. I don't go offroad without one.
@@patrickhorvath2684 I was shocked to realize they didn't have one. They managed, but proper equipment would have helped a lot.
Was off-roading with my grandfather, my dad, uncle and grandfathers best friend and my grandfather rolled his jeep and there was no way to get it on its side without it rolling more down the hill so we used 3 winches a couple snatch blocks and picked it up off the ground and rotated it in the air then set it back down on its wheels.
@@andrewaymond6570 who cares, who were going with you on that trip?
Can you imagine being that owner at the doctor's office?
"My throat is raw"
"My stomach hurts too actually."
"I ate glass."
Well, I'm watching 2 years in the past now, and it's funny how much your videos have changed. But all for the good, plus I'm watching like a dozen different channels from that area now, lol.
Tucker dose a great job editing. He makes constructive time of your adventures. I'd rate him number one in all these recovery shows.
Matt: How’s it going?
Random cowboy: good, better than you🤣🤣
Lol
Did lady try to bite him?
@@69headwound she probably did her smile at him and freaked him out a little
I haven't seen Matt stack rocks in a video in nearly a year!
Probably was the Prius rescue. 😀
Forgotten technique by now 😋
I get wanting to save weight for the sand but the lack of tool boxes/tools and an air compressor is absolutely crazy you don’t run into more problems u can’t solve which seems to never happen or u just edit those parts out but amazing job guys keep em coming
Glad to see you guys have finally got some radios to communicate when towing.
When you build equipment right, it works in situations like this. Ingenuity at its finest! Nice work to your fabricators, people filming and of course the recovery crew!
Use of the Jeep to lift the back end Genius! The bridge of rocks priceless.
Lizzy is very nice , wish more ladies took note to be like her.. Instead of helpless * great recovery ... Keep it rolling
Excellent video guys great teamwork....great cam shots....great editing....great content.....thanks for sharing this with us
Rudy was hilarious in explaining Matt's look and the rock stacking to load the trailer. Very creative effort to get that truck back to town.
The trailer camera angle on the Morvair is badass.
love the 63 Corvair wagon !!!! I had one in 68
I love your little action tune, I can play that all day long in my head!!
I’m glad you guys had Lady there providing adult supervision. Like a gentleman she got picked up, good dog dad!
The WhistlinDiesel clip image at the end though... awesome.
Officially my new favorite RUclips channel
Great job guys! Love love watching you.
I got a Febreeze ad during this vid and the only relevance I could think of is the air in the MORRvair must get pretty potent after gas station biscuits and gravy.
Doubt the presence of a dog would improve air-quality :-/
@@isallah1kafir196 hmmm, biscuit and gravy, dew, and who knows what else, or dog breath..... it’s a toss
Febreeze? You're lucky. I keep getting those nighttime diaper ads for kids...
Well, I guess there have been a few of Matt's vids where diapers would have been appropriate wear 🤔 !!!
@@greatnortherntroll6841 wake-up feeling ninja awesome!
That was a tremendous view with the camera mounted on the trailer behind the *MOREVAIR*
Completely agree... can't quite put my finger on why I enjoyed it so much, but it was a cool shot!
Your awareness of physics is top notch. Nothing defeats you all👏👏👏
And I totally approve your red neck tie down.
Not one recovery seems to be the same .its always an adventure and never boring to watch 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸 NY long island
Good idea with those licence plate covers!
I'm telling ya. An onboard air system would be invaluable. I've had a Viair Ultra duty system for almost a year now on an FJ and it has paid for itself 10 times over. Will fill all of my 35s from 10lbs to 35 lbs in around 8 minutes starting with a full tank. I mounted the compressor inside the back, and ran the hose under the vehicle to the tank. Took a little figuring out, but managed to fit the tank where bottom sits above the low point of the rear bumper. With the work you do, it would really come in handy
You guys are the best advertising for Maverick's food center! And not a one of you have gotten sick on air!
I love the fact that there is still some people in this crazy world that is still able to use Common sense to fix the problem at hand! You all are great!
There is finally talk about reopening the border to non-essential travel between Can/US in the next couple months. Matt's is already flagged as the first destination. Sending love from Vancouver Island, British Columbia to all of the Matt's OR team. Need some new swag..lol...the stuff I picked up a year and a bit ago is outta date.
I sure hope so! I live 40 miles south of the border, and we are so used to going up to Creston and Cranbrook. Major withdrawls!
This is awesome to hear! Have some new family-in-law up in Ontario we’d love to visit! Been decades since my last trip up.
Lizzy sure dresses this channel up! Kinda surprised that hi-lift jacks aren't in your tool box.
"Are you serious about that or no?" 😂
Pretty legit question honestly.
Lindsey is a joy. 👍
Cute pup as well.
Lizzy!
I'm a concrete finisher and Maverik is a big part of my diet and I have no complaints about my physical appearance
"Hows it goin?!"
"Good, better than you!"
LMAOOO 😂
lady runing around when the truck is about to flip got me nervous this morning
Agreed.
I agree, too
Yeah ,not cool at all.
Same here
Me too.
I know I'm two years + late to the party, but that MORRVAIR is just an incredible rig. All that work really paid off.
The camera on the trailer is a really cool angle to see the flex of your vehicles and could help with the viewers perspective for the terrain I would love to see more of those angles
You guys should also setup a sheave (snatch block in off roading terms) at the front of your trailer when you do a pull like that. That way it’s pulling straight rather than at an angle like that.
you guys always look like you enjoy each others company and doing the job... keep up the good work ... what a team
Matt is a natural born leader.
Awesome job guys...love watching you guys..
Great video, kind of reminds me of my 20 years in the desert outside of Alice Springs Northern Territory Western Australia, interesting times and watching people think "outside the box", good times thanks.Dx n
Hey Matt,
You could put a small solar panel on the lid of the toolbox, and it would keep the winch battery good to go at ALL times!!!
Just a thought. Thanks for the great content, I just CAN'T stop watching!!!
Lady was making me nervous! Awesome job!
