I really appreciate you and Matt’s attitudes. No one seems to let ego get in the way, you just make a plan and get it done. Great job to both of you and all the crew.
Cool recovery by Paul, Matt and the whole crew, I enjoyed seeing the Tacoma climb up the steep hill and also how the front end barely touched the ground when it came back down to the road 👍👌
Every time I watch one of these where you guys winch, I remember when I was about 12 and ran my hand along a cable from a dozer winch. It sliced me up good. I learned the hard way that day, but I will never ever forget it!
A great recovery and I respect Matt for helping Fab build his channel in a respectful way. Other's in the past have been disrespectful in posting conflicting content.
You and Matt are so much fun to watch when you work together. Love it! This was a simple mistake the driver made that could have been a huge disaster, but you guys come from many hours away, to meet at a location that was ill defined, and everyone just goes happily to work to rescue this truck. No matter that you get a little cut up or dirty. This reminds me of the tow out you made of a truck that had fallen into a cave-in on the road that left it hanging in space.
High dollar tow job there.. When you have to call for back-up, another added expense. lol... Then dealing with all the different hook ups, and moving around.. What a job..
I put welding lead ends on my winch and on both ends of my truck so that the winch can be moved to either front or the back of truck and get good power to the winch. Yes it takes some big wire ran to each end and connectors that just twist together.
I used to take a chain block with me off-roading. They were great because you could put a pull on whatever was stuck and the block would hold the load while you used other pullers to get the stuck vehicle moving. They would have been ideal for that situation, and cheap. Great video.
Watched the same recovery twice from both yours and Matt's channel. Both great! Like seeing that Taco in action. After watching the build and it perform, you sir have a Taco supreme.
Great video, Paul. You get all the choice assignments on these recoveries! Vehicle on a the edge of a rollover--bam, Paul is off into the puckerbrush for a better angle. Good job!
Thanks for a great video. Love when you work with Matt. It is like watching another extended Matt Video. Great job is getting truck out. Love your truck Paul. Pretty cool. Keep the videos coming
I love watching the escapes between the two of you guys Fab rats &Winder Towing. Up here in BC. you break down in the bush you pray someone comes along or you hope that you don't get eaten by an animal walking out.
It's good that Paul is man enough to get a few scratches and not complain about them, but wise enough to wear a seatbelt, at please part of the time :)
You guys have moved beyond pro to expert level. Plus teaching the younger generation, showing them not only the ropes but the stick to it work ethic. Keep up the good work and being role models. With you showing the way the future is bright.
Back when I drove a truck I stopped at a gas station in a little town with three old men sitting outside. I asked direction to a farm in the area where I was due to pick up a load of watermelon. Their directions began with "go up here a few miles and make a left at the old Peterson home that burned down back in the 80s" ....
Down at the holler turn left until you see that old stump, then turn right until you see that area of the crick that washed out back in 79. We are just a hop skip and a jump up the road from that. - directions to my house back in Texas in the 80’s 😂
When 911 began requiring road names, an old dirt road in MS was named 'Washing Machine Rd.' because, you guessed it, there's a washing machine sitting at the turnoff and that's what all the locals used as a landmark
Paul, it's really cool that you trusted Rudy to drive your truck, and cool that Rudy has earned that trust. I wouldn't trust my friends to drive my vehicles, much less their kids!
Some female dinse connectors attached to the battery terminals poking out of the grille, a matching male connectors on the winch leads would be pretty handy. No need to pop the hood to power the winch.
I have a solid axle swapped 1st gen Tacoma and I run heim joint steering. I would recommend running heim steering it can be noisy but it is much stronger than ball joint tie rod ends.
Well done on a tricky extraction folks. Have done a couple sorta similar in our BC mountains, though admittedly none are the same ever really. Anyways it's always a big sigh when one gets the rig back on the trail! The Toyota surely is set up very well for that sort of off road work, very cool. Thanks and stay well.
That looked harder than the one on the Boulder. Good job on getting it on the road. I think that when you two are together Matt makes you do the leg work and go in the bushes with the Taco except for the time you had the welder. You guys make a great team together. Matt with the job and Paul with the plan 🙂
The excursion is the largest and heaviest suv. It is the size of a super duty. It is definitely going to take alot to keep that tank from going over. I am thinking a two way with a third. One at each end and the third just as a safety to keep it from sliding. sideways. Nice. two was enough
Another tough recovery. A little déjà vu of the Silverado leaning precariously on the side of the cliff. Always surprised you guys never wear gloves...
Ok. Why don't you guys own Shiv Blocks. (That is a pully with a hook on it). We used 6" heavy duty Shiv Blocks to retrieve downed trees from below the road, and sometimes trucks that got too close to the edge, in Northern Idaho and Montana. So much easier and safer.
Doritos comment reminds me of a 50 mile race I did one Fall in Moab. It started in the La Salle mountains and the course had been marked using orange flagging tape the day before. Unfortunately the Elk liked the markers and chewed most of them up, making route finding a challenge for everyone.
I like how you and Matt just figure stuff out, there isn't a competition for "who's the best recovery guy" or "who gets the credit".
Yeah I noticed that too. Pure team work.
Your happy attitude is the best part of the channel, Paul - great, fun channel!
I like when you guys work together, it works well and as a bonus we get to see you perspective and then Matt's.
I really appreciate you and Matt’s attitudes. No one seems to let ego get in the way, you just make a plan and get it done. Great job to both of you and all the crew.
66 years old , Done Trucking and Tank M-88 Tank Retrievers, And Ms Lizzy has my complete respect, Shes got grit.
Paul always there no matter what, real class dude real class.
That Tacoma needs to be in the dictionary under "Approach and Departure Angles."
Under "Lets stand this beast on its nose."
Love when you and matt do a job together Ya’ll make a great team ! 👍🏼
Paul, you are part mountain goat. At least 10 trips up and down that ledge. Wow!
Cool recovery by Paul, Matt and the whole crew, I enjoyed seeing the Tacoma climb up the steep hill and also how the front end barely touched the ground when it came back down to the road 👍👌
Thanks for watching!
Every time I watch one of these where you guys winch, I remember when I was about 12 and ran my hand along a cable from a dozer winch. It sliced me up good. I learned the hard way that day, but I will never ever forget it!
Hey, thanks for saying that. I did the same hole testing testing tire for Dick Cepek, across all four fingers. That is something you only do one ever.
Good job Paul . You are a good friend to Matt
A great recovery and I respect Matt for helping Fab build his channel in a respectful way. Other's in the past have been disrespectful in posting conflicting content.
Once again team Winder & Fab rats makes the impossible 💪
Quality entertainment watching you pros on the job !
Thanks for sharing, highly appreciated 👍
This pull reminds me of the Boulder Mountain recovery job pull. Good work from the "Winching Duo". They have their time and place.
Pretty similar situations for sure. This one was actually more difficult.
That Taco and Paul are both part Mountain goat lol 😂😂😂
YOU KNOW IT!!!👍👍
🤣🤣🤣
That’s the “g.o.a.t.” Comment so far 😂🤣👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
You and Matt are so much fun to watch when you work together. Love it! That Taco is amazing. I don't know how you got up the hill, and coming down was just as impressive!
The things we put ourselves, and our trucks through to help someone out. Good job Paul, and Matt.
I have used old welding lead plugs much the same way with snow plow connections back in the day.
That exit was awesome.. the bumper didn't even touch the road.
I used to take a chain block with me off-roading. They were great because you could put a pull on whatever was stuck and the block would hold the load while you used other pullers to get the stuck vehicle moving. They would have been ideal for that situation, and cheap. Great video.

Very funny. 🌮 Taco supreme.
Great video, Paul. You get all the choice assignments on these recoveries! Vehicle on a the edge of a rollover--bam, Paul is off into the puckerbrush for a better angle. Good job!
I already knew about Matt's channel but I found you and you and Matt work together!! You're awesome!!!!!
Glad you found us! Thanks for watching!
Impressive recovery, my hats off to you, the whole team.
Wow!!! Matt and Paul you guys rock. Amazing how you all work together and safely. Blessing to all your extra film crew. I love watching your videos.
Paul seems like the kind of guy you call when you need to get shi*t done.
Paul walks the uneven terrain and through the brush like a madman on a mission
nice, great team, like rudi said, thanks for coming paul :)
Fab Rats + MORR = piece of cake rescue. You guys did an awesome job.
Thanks for the kind words! You’re awesome!
This reminds me a lot of the Chevy truck rescue I watched on Matt’s channel a while ago, you two obviously work well together
1:17 and when you get passed the old stump you'll see 3 rocks stacked up------------- those are the kind of directions we give here in Virginia !!
Back when I drove a truck I stopped at a gas station in a little town with three old men sitting outside. I asked direction to a farm in the area where I was due to pick up a load of watermelon. Their directions began with "go up here a few miles and make a left at the old Peterson home that burned down back in the 80s" ....
Those are the best kind of directions!😂
@@kenwelch198 I have had the same thing when I used to service satellites in the country in NC. "Go down and turn where Roy grew pumpkins last year"
Down at the holler turn left until you see that old stump, then turn right until you see that area of the crick that washed out back in 79. We are just a hop skip and a jump up the road from that. - directions to my house back in Texas in the 80’s 😂

I see what you say about Toyotas. Yours is a beast.
The description on how you all work is having confidence in your competence basically you know what you're doing
Paul, it's really cool that you trusted Rudy to drive your truck, and cool that Rudy has earned that trust. I wouldn't trust my friends to drive my vehicles, much less their kids!
Than are your friends actually friends ??
@@heathboeddeker5401 Lol of course they are.
The Tacoma sounds like I feel most days.
😂
The great white squeak 😎
Best channel on RUclips.. this Wyoming guy will see your merch shop this summer.. going up that hill reminds me of deer hunting with my dad.
I know i dont know you all , but you do a great job, thank you for all you do
Nice job on the brush clearance Matt's left more than a crowbar ask him about the jumper box out in the dunes...
that was so gnarly! Awesome to see Fab Rats side of this recovery. you guys rock!
You and Matt make one hell of a team.
The best of friends, Matt sure know how to pick them.
Pauls a madman LOL love it!!! KEEP EM COMING GUYS!!! 🤙
Yes both did it God bless you both and y'all got in and got out LK God bless y'all
Paul...always a smile.
Some female dinse connectors attached to the battery terminals poking out of the grille, a matching male connectors on the winch leads would be pretty handy. No need to pop the hood to power the winch.
Great teamwork
Beautiful scenery, plus taco was putting in some serious crawling 💪🏼💪🏼
Paul is part billy-goat! Great 👍 recovery...
Paul its amazing where you put your truck for the pull
Lizzie is a great addition to the crew
I have a solid axle swapped 1st gen Tacoma and I run heim joint steering. I would recommend running heim steering it can be noisy but it is much stronger than ball joint tie rod ends.
Paul I love the way think simple and effective. Keep up the good work . If I ever get back to Utah I will stop by and bring you a case of Dew
That approach angle going down to the road! 😳😜👍🏼🤙🏼💪🏼❤️
That modified Taco is a beast!
Great job on getting that trk out of the problem..
Great team work. Cool recovery by both crews

I think I heard a mountain goat say "damn!!!"
Nicely put
4:00
Matt: "Yeah, nobody in the triangle of death!"
Me: "oh you mean the Bermuda Triangle..."
You deserved a stop at the pie shop in Veyo!

That was pretty cool another of the edge rescue, great team work and camera angles. Keep up the great work everyone.
Thanks for watching!
My Tacoma squeeks too. It's a Toyota thing. Mine are the leaf springs, I just douse em in Fluid Film every couple months
That’s a true friend. Hashtag we love Paul
😎
Distracted driving on a trail, that's a new first for me!
Paul is one hell of a daredevil he will try anything
Holy cow, you have to drive all the way to Veyo for work! That's a lot of miles per year but at least you can pick up a pie when you need one, lol!
Paul and Matt work great together
Thats what i call having some driving skills 💪 💪 💪
Another tough recovery. A little déjà vu of the Silverado leaning precariously on the side of the cliff. Always surprised you guys never wear gloves...
Good example for working together
Love you guys ! Great work . Ok Lizzy .... ok Lizzy ....ok lizzy😂
You're trucks a freak machine i love it!
Nice work.
Your taco is a 4 door version of our axial Scx10 Honchos. We could do a rescue like this but only a a 1/10 scale. Great minds, you two
I absolutely love these shows i just got into offroading n its like a what not to do tutorial lol
I rly like the chemic between you guys. It's like a big family.
I’m always amazed at how they handle the wire rope without gloves and never get cut.
Callouses!😉
Good video F.R , maby you need some leather arm sleeves to wear when you're out in the brush helping Matt, looking forward to more videos.
Matt and you make a great team

Paul! I love your rig! Can we go do some wheelin next time we are in town?
Yes we can
👊🏻😎
That's definitely a rescue!!!
Haha! Thats funny how those guys acted like it wasn't them that got the truck stuck.
Sandman and Fabrat to the recuse again.👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
That was so bad A$@! We enjoy watching you work with Matt!
Crazy all the time! Good stuff guys 👍👍
That looks a lot like a recent chevy pickup save! He was a little farther over though. Todd the retired trucker.
You must encourage MATT to do more maintenance on his vehicles !!!!!!!
Matt lol everytime he locks the hubs always something probably another ujoint or axle
