- Matt, from Matt's Off Road Recovery, occasionally gives Paul a call to help with tows when they're closer to Paul's area. This family got stuck in an area in Southern Utah by Kanab. It was a pretty sandy situation! Check out to see if Paul can get them un-stuck and back on their way.

They called for a Banana and got a Taco🤣
You know it!!👍👍😮😮😮
Now you made me hungry.
🌮 + 🍌=👍
I want to buy a Taco replica truck too! Make it happen Michelle.
with hot sauce,no greenery..
I'm impressed that the customer kept asking questions until he knew he understood. I've seen enough rescues where the driver says "okay" then it's not okay.
He did exactly what I asked him to do.👍🏻
Just finished watching all your videos. Better than anything on my 900 direct TV channels.
You making them and I'll keep watching.
Awesome! Good to hear!
Excellent toe drive out and everything God bless you all couldn't be better God bless you
Taco is truly a one of a kind! Great lookin work horse you've built.
I like how he and Matt have the front locker set up like that. By physically locking them in place. Anyone know if it's custom or can I buy a set-up like theirs?
Your line can be “Matt called me Again”.
"We got a(nother) call from matt..."
Next fab job? Fitting onboard compressor =;-))
Fab a tube bumper and air it up. Air on the fly.
or just a 12v portable
Great job on the recovery. Your truck handles that sand like a champ.
Driving in sand demands skill. That Cherokee could have been driven after leaving the deep spot, but learning is required. Excellent video.
I used to carry a 12v compressor in my truck. not only good for times that you have to air down and air back up but along with a plug kit kept me from having to call for a tow a few times.
Peekaboo trail gets them every time. Rode back there in around the same time and there were 7 vehicles stuck in the sand, digging with branches, floor mats etc. Its almost as good as watching people load boats at the boat ramp.
I wondered why my brother-in-Law headed for the boat ramp before noon on the Labor Day weekend. Then we sat and watched a kind of (Warning: Politically Incorrect!) Chinese Fire Drill go on for 2 or 3 hours. My B-in-L had towed artillery pieces in a far-away war zone for a bit. The park ranger's jaw dropped about to his knees when the wheels on that Ford spun in REVERSE and the trailer ended Perfectly Positioned for my sister to "Load Up." (She had to blip the throttle pretty hard to correct for a cross-wind, but she got the little runabout Nosed In to where I could snap onto the bow eye; and the three of us were "Outta There." Elapsed Time, 'considerably' Less than five minutes.)
Not sure what southern Utah would do with out you and Matt. I imagine you're and Matt's ingenuity and know how has saved a lot of people from all kinds of situation's from off the road to in the shop.
Some time's it pays to have a compress on the back to blow those big tyres up maybe you'll find one down at the tip just like the welder you found and that was an awesome find .
Nice work! They took that “Trail Rated” badge too seriously, it didn’t mean this trail lol!
Thinking out loud, but Matt should really send you some Matts off road Recovery Magnetic stickers or something for these types of jobs, I would think he would have thought about that already. 🤣🤣 Fab Job !!
Right on 👍 we used to build bumpers that held air..don't see too much of that anymore
Air tank in the bumper / winch bar?
I use an ac compressor to fill a 35L tank between the chassis rails. I wouldn't mind having a bigger capacity though!!
3:32 anyone notice that Tahoe powering through the sand? Lol
I do now.
Curtis Fleabag True story!!
@Curtis Fleabag it doesn't matter about what kind of tires, tire pressure is king in sand, just make sure you don't pop beads.
Yup. Taco to the rescue. Looked good too.
I would have walked up the road to wait for you too. I know what it’s like to be stuck in a car with kids.
He no habla ingless.
@@robertgantry2118 comprende Deez~Nuts en la boca!
@@smartymar2535 Oh. I must have offended you. THE POINT WAS that the woman met the recovery guy because she speaks FHUCKIN ENGLISH. Now man up, and quit being so touchy-feely sensitive.
@@robertgantry2118 haha I guess you didn't understand I was talking about the woman as well.😂 No need to get your panty's in a bunch over your misunderstanding. ✌
@@smartymar2535 - LOL... ite...
Great work Paul! Always a pleasure to see your lil' Toy Taco in action! Seems like Matt is always thinking of ways to try n get you as a company man! :P Matt's gonna need to stock you up with t-shirts now! ;)
Nice work sir, it's especially challenging with the lack of decent latch points on so many rigs these days.
there not 4x4rs,so,dont take them off the bitumen/concrete. more people should be aware of the multi uses of a good 4x4, i see so many people trying to get 5 in a 2 car.objects that is. a woman bought a tree,5 ft.owned a hatch back.not happening..allways go bigger/more,than what you need..2002 s/duty,4.2tdi cab chassis,12.6 lt 100. 700 nm..&,no computer..bonus..
Isn't that the truth? I think people just don't think ahead. Wrong vehicle for the job.
you should set up a gang box with recovery gear a small air compressor and small honda generator stuffed in you can bolt it to the bed and lock it its a great way to go
Nice extraction, Paul. Keep up the good work.
Pauly, I'm just amazed that the sand can be so different under different moisture content, more to this off road towing stuff than just pulling someone out. Wowser, vacationers like to off road in that sand? I don't know about these folks.
California plates should tell you everything haha. I imagine they went down the giant sand hill just fine, but didn't think about how they'd get back up. "I have 4 wheel drive!"
So, we got a call... From Matt. Time to rig up an air compressor in there Paul!
Paul, missed your cast of characters. Stop by the gravel pit and have Papa Dar give a weather report next time. Lol.
Great recovery 👍 👏
You should install a little air compressor and tank like a air bag setup with out bags or what ever you come up with but iam sure you could find a spot underneath your flat bed to pump ur tires up lol that way you never have to worry run flat tires
Always have liked manual locking hubs.
you guys do good together your truck Looking good I’m glad he called you
Best thing ever happened to your yota is your cousin rolling it over! I love that truck!
Agreed!
Word of the day ... Solider 🤙🏼
Nice Job!
This guy can literally build anything.
It's genetic. You wouldn't believe the stuff his dad has built over the years.
Seems to "steer clear" of Anything that is so Boring as Watching Paint Dry, for some reason.
Good job Paul 👍 Keep the videos coming and let's see your numbers grow.
...GOOD ONE, STAY SAFE...
Now you need to install an air compressor in the Taco.
Fab rat a cool guy like his work shop
Great video. I wish you much success on your channel growth
Thanks for watching!
A recovery on your own? Good job!
Good job for the old Mountain goat!!
Great video thank you!
should buy a portable air compressor, Airhawk
Great video, went very smooth. The taco needs a portable inflator
So good that you didn't meet one coming in that narrow uphill area.
You need a cheap set of walkie-talkies, put one in the car being towed so that you can give the driver instructions. ...a Milwaukee M12 air compressor would help post-recovery. I love mine, at first I thought I'd bought a high quality, expensive toy but after year or so of use, it's been great.
Maybe get Powertank as a channel advertiser with yankum? ARB / Powertank / Smittybilt ... definitely a huge time-saver/tire-saver to be able to air up in minutes (multiple times).
wow! I would say the color of the jeep makes all the difference
Very good recovery 👍🏻
welcome to the quicky mart
Hey Paul, you live in a desert there is always sand everywhere. I am in St George
love you Toco and what you did to it!!
Glad you like it! Thanks for watching!
I figured that would've been more work because of there small tires and not being aired down .. Your trucks a good work horse too !!
Nice job getting them out. Now you need to mount a compressor on the truck to air up the tires again!
Great job
I can’t believe that with all this new technology you guys don’t have compressors and tanks on your riggs.
We had it way back in the 60s to air up when we came off the beach out here on the east coast .
Back then it was a hose from cylinder 1 wasn't it?
I've got an old kit somewhere around, perished hose obviously but it's a nice thing to have still!
I heard an idea I'd like to see either you or Matt try... Store compressed air in your custom made bumpers, with quick connects installed the only extra weight would be the connectors and a short air hose?
Dangnabbit, thats a qick silver dollah!!! Wooohooo!!!!
Outstanding job,i said you built that Toyota right, good video F.R, good camera work, more please.
Wish you'd say or show exactly what feature the tow rope is connected to. Yeah i know there isn't much on many vehicles and it forces one to attach to control arm or something "not recommended" ...... but still.
Good job guys
Good job.
I bet by now u" Fabbed " a on board compressor 👍🏽😊
Finally....a PROPER tow rig! 😂😂
I'm surprised you haven't fab ratted an air compressor setup on the Taco yet.
I guess I should say; Fabulous Fantastic 🐀's Towing!!, from now on!!!😂😂😂
Anyways have a great weekend!!👍👍🍕🍕🍕🍺🍺🍺
Oh my. Good thing you got their steering unstuck... 🤣🙄🙈🥺
We need a Fab Rat patch ....make some swag! Great content on your channel BTW 🤘🏽
In the works!👍🏻
@@FabRats sign me up, I will take the first one !
Also, great video!
I was stuck in a Sandy situation years ago, but we broke up. 👍
Me too, mine was a ginger, I couldn't match her spirit, she moved on. lol😂
This Taco is gonna be as famous as The Banana!
You're already invested in Milwaukee cordless tools so you might want to consider their little M18 compressor. Also was this out by Elephant Butte?
It was north of elephant butte and across the highway. 👍🏻
Youd be there for a long time with their compressor.
You need a high output jobbie for anything over a 30" tyre
Have you ever lost the inside of a valve stem letting the air out of your tires, that would suck?
Your yankums WAY to clean, gotta let it ride out of the bag to look like Matts
I like seeing the fuzzy mic cover the whole video.
We like to call him Harry!
Just curious why you guys don't carry a air tank to refill the tires after a rescue ? Us off roaders in Pa carry 5 or 10 gallon air tanks on board. I thought maybe because of the heat in your area, but a good quality tank should be able to withstand that.
You should put an air compressor in the back of your truck like that your Wills will not be low like you did your own the truck
You experience any axle wrap/hop issues with your current setup?
Fantastic Outlook good work I don't know how even I could do it better haha
Time to get the lathe going on the stub axels to make central-air :o) *yeh, I have no idea how to do that. I guess you drill the quarter shaft and side-port it? It crossed my mind that with the new wireless tech each tyre could have an internal pump and valve dump. But, I can see why in South America they run a lot of external hoses. Simple is still easy trail fix.
Really nicely built taco 👍👍.
Lake Havasu-
Subbed.
Welcome to the channel!
Fab Rats could you fab up a bumper that you could store compressed air in so you could air up your tires after deflating them for traction?
New word: solid "er"
Have you never heard anybody say that? Lol
Is that the trail over to peek-a-boo canyon?
Hey ......what about that truck? What your plan with do it?......i m so excited for it........
As much as you guy's let the air out the tires you should have a tire pump
Paul do you know what wheels you are running on the Yota? I’m having a hard time finding wheels that’ll work on my ole Landcruiser and your deep dish ones look like they may have the right backspacing for me!
16" is tough to find that clears the calipers on tacos but hes got a solid front axel
Esteban Kozak well that was unnecessary.. he may have just bought them from someone in town, with no knowledge of brand or exact offset. He probably does know but that doesn’t mean you need to be rude about it
What tire deflators are those? I heard the set and forget ones were trash, those good?
Looks like new Mexico
ARB compressor for the yota in the future maybe?
Add an air tank to back of your truck.
Time to get a yellow rope?
Time to paint the Taco yellow?
I don't know how much it would cost but as many times you and Matt deflate and inflate your tires, would a self inflating device work on your's and Matt's vehicles. Just a thought. Love the video's keep up the good work and god bless and stay safe.
All those toys and trinkets in your shop and you don't have a portable air compressor? I'm half surprised you didn't strap a full size one to your bed like you did the welder, lol.
Just looking at the parking spot... peekaboo canyon??? If so. Yeah, thats a soft road when its dry
Correct!
@@FabRats and if I'm right on the spot where they got stuck. Good thing they went right and not left into that sand pit just a little further west. We were on our sport quads with no paddles and it was rough on us
Nice job Paul. You are really giving Matt a run for the money. If you could just trade that Toyota for a Jeep....lol.....
One of the best things about Paul's channel is that he runs a Toyota. So reliable. So well built. They last forever.
Who does Matt call when he needs extra help? The Tacoma. Why would he trade that for a Heep when it does all the hard stuff just fine?
DW much as I love the old Cherokee’s I’d take that taco over Matt’s Jeep any day if I was given the choice 😁
Hey Fabulous!, Fantastic 🐀's!!, you're back!!👍👍 Back with Matt's Towing!! He gets stuck too easily!! I say do some Lincoln-lockers on the Banana!!!🍌😂😂😂😂
Need to carry a portable air tank with you .
CRAE CRAE how they tried to run over your rope... several times. 😳. I know it was the communication gap, but on the initial pull, if you didn’t have the ability to over power them, they would have gotten your Yankum right off the jump!
Why don’t you or Matt keep a good portable or permanent mount air compressor with you to air up once you’re done with recovery? Or maybe a refillable small tank?
