But you opening the door gives them a quick moment to push their way in when you’re surprised and minimize being seen by a neighbor. It also tells them there is no alarm system on. I think everyone should have a ring camera anymore to answer the door.

Aaron LeBlanc it's to put pressure on the face to help the scarring .... without it hos face would be even worse. my husband got run over and degloved (it is exactly what it sounds like) on the back of his leg and he had to wear a pressure brace to help the scaring heal better.
