Hi mate, new subscriber here ✊. Nice flight with your bird in a wonderful area 🤩. Hope to see more LR trips from you. I fly the Chimera 7 and the „Pro“ as well, both digital. With the „7“ I was 3.7 miles out and my longest flight was 11.2 miles. The „7Pro“ just had maiden flight.
    Best greetings 😎👋👋

Wow, thanks man! I really appreciate that. I'm happy to hear you are completing missions with this awesome craft. 3.7... very nice, I bet that was a thrill! I'm really looking forward to this year of flying and capturing more footage. Thank you for subbing, cheers!

@@LiftVector yes, it was a thrill ! And this was with „DJI only“, no crossfire !
The „7 Pro“ has crossfire - I think I have to upgrade to crossfire diversity to go further. We‘ll see. 2023 will become an interesting year 😆🎉.

Hey great vid just subbed also, I’m new to long range and just built a 7 pro but with my 4000mah 6s I’m only getting like 4km out and turning around at 22.7
Any tips what I can do to get more flight?

@@MarztechRacing Thank you! I bet that was a fun build. So my rule with my 4000 mah is to turn around at 1600 mah used so that when I land I will be close to 80% of the capacity which is about 3200 mah used. I went over this in the video as you can see and when the battery settled, it was around 3.7 per cell and close to storage voltage so I could probably get even more out of it.
The biggest thing is throttle control and not to panic with large bursts of throttle where amp draw spikes. I was cruising here at 50 mph average and focusing really hard on keeping the throttle around 37-50% and maintaining altitude. The higher you are the slower you seem to go in the FPV feed. It may feel slow, even though you may be going 70 mph and pulling major amps. I did this on a 3 mile out flight and got really worried on the way back and realized I was just panic throttling and going WAY too fast. I would add mAh used to your telemetry and keep a close eye on that and think of it like your fuel tank. I hope this helps! Good luck out there!

Nice! Have you tried it on 4s? How would tbat fly?

Thanks! I wouldn’t want to fly it on anything less than 6s, she is a heavy girl. I’m not too sure it would be that fun on 4s!

@@LiftVector I have an 10000 mAh lion with 21700 cells in an 4S2P Pack, I agree its heavy I would not go for 4s on such a heavy quad flight times are good but performance takes a big hit much rather fly on a 4s Lipo than 4s li-on. Best performance I get is on the 6s Lipo 5200 mAh 50c about 12 or more minutes flight time. Seen iFlight have an 6s 8000 mAh lion pack that weight 800 something grams cant believe this quad can carry that much weight.

@@devon582 I'm tempted to put my two 4000 mAh 6s Lipos in parallel. One on top and one on the bottom. Now if you say iFlight has done it, I gotta try!
