Bezos asked for 'Game of Thrones' style. The only problem was they gave him season 8.
I wish it was GOT style. Then the payoff of Saurons proposal would have been more satisfying. To me the actors choices (maybe more on the Galadriel side) were absent of any heat. There was the one moment in the forest after Adar inquisition when the pair were sitting on the log and Halbrand/Sauron intensely proclaims his desire to bind the feeling of Galadriel by his side to his very being. That moment felt like it was fittingly restrained but in the many times leading up to the moment or at least in the time after - when he’s wounded on the bed I wish they had added some scene of a bit of sexual tension. THAT is game of thrones- not Tolkien though. Since they were making changes of this kind - making Sauron want a bride- I wish they got a bit spicey with it.
