Well, we’re 4 episodes in and she hasn’t used magic at all. She is the holder of Nenya, the ring that controls water etc, but she’s just stomping around with a sword… like huh?

Her ring hasn't been made yet.
And you're confusing her ring with Vilya which she never used.
she doesn't have the ring yet...they are literally going to tell us how they got it in the series. see? that is what happens when you complain without knowing the facts in advance.

even when ignoring that theres just way to much other shit that makes you cringe and/or laugh.
besides cgi (for the most part that is) its really just subpar by any metric you could think of.
People need to learn that it’s ok if people have different opinions than their own. Everything is not black and white; there are many shades of grey.
However, because of continuos defensive replies I get. I’m starting to believe that these billionaire corporations truly don’t give a damn about diversity and gender equality. They care about one thing and that is MONEY.
Thus, this is just a marketing strategy so that if they spend a billion dollars on a project and it flops they can just say it’s because of racial/gender intolerance, and their show will be fine because anyone who disagrees will just be ignored and reduced into that ugly category. Think about it. It’s a genius marketing strategy. Wish you all the best 🙏

Ema "Jugs" Horvath is wearing quite the distracting dress...even when they're covered if they're outlined you can't keep your eyes off of them. It's like the Arcs of the Covenant, they're so distracting! I've literally never wanted to motor boat someone until now LOL. Those big boppers could bop me all day long hahahah
