To think that I went from stumbling across some cool dude at Scifi In the Valley a few years ago to being subscribed to him boggles my mind. Can't wait to see this final project and I hope maybe I can buy one too!
This is why i LOVE your channel. You use simple tools and work really hard to make these awesome projects while other RUclipsrs use CNC or laser cutters that other people don't have. You have my respect and keep up the good work.
I’m working on it when I have time in the background but I have an enormous amount of work that I have to get caught up on. It will be the next project barring any unforeseen circumstances.
I love your videos man. You're always doing really interesting projects, but also you're really entertaining and engaging, and teach things in very interesting and enjoyable ways.
I've been looking forward to this. Even if I havent ever actually played cyberpunk. The moment I saw the mantis blades I debated buying the game just for them.
The only reason the tech isn't available or as close as we can get it is lack of funding. That's what I believe anyway and as someone who body is shit and who has cochlear implants I'm very curious on cybernetics lol.
Love the technical terms and very impressed with the pneumatic function by hand! Grab a cheap little 1x30 belt sander from harbor freight, it's the best tool I've ever gotten for fabrication :)
A live stream after video release might let you exchange ideas with your subscribers. Maybe it is worth a shot? Anyway, great video, love your content!
Hey man, just so yu know you can get desktop cnc mills thst can handle aluminium and thin mild steel off od amazon for $500 or so. I have one and it has made my own projects a lot easier. Plus i think that working in autocad could help in your prototyping. Although i do enjoy your prototyping with a more hands on approach but i think if you gain some extra tools that can assist in your projects it will help increase your amount of vids and repertoire of projects that you can make! I enjoyed your vid and hope you continue to work on great projects.
Jairus you should try using the community tab more often, a RUclipsr by the name The Spiffing Brit made a video on how RUclips’s recommended algorithm prioritizes the community feature and it boosts your channel exposure by an incredible amount. Look up the video if you want to know more about it, he brings up some pretty convincing events that back up his claims.
I have been thinking if I just get a load of cardboard and make a full suit of halo armor or doom guy haven’t decided yet. And just have an arsenal of cardboard
@@AlexS-qh9xu I think so but I can’t remember I really wish I could meet them both I might only be 15 but I could at least help a bit I’m pretty good with welding electronics and other things I just wish I could meet them one day
I can just imagine thay cybernetics are going to become much more superior then normal body parts and people are actually going to replace there human parts for robotics in games
Not gonna lie, you probably should've done titanium for the body, and steel for the blade since steel is a generally superior blade material, and titanium is a generally superior structural material. Granted, would've cost more to do that, so I understand why you're doing what you are. Oh, and a liner lock is more likely to fail than a lockback or other form of insert locking mechanism, and lockbacks also have the benefit of staying in line with the blade instead of being disengaged by pulling to the side, which is likely to be easier to do with the device you're designing and more likely to keep the same general look as the one in-game instead of having a tumescent latch mechanism sticking out of the side of the sheath that isn't there in the source material.
Might have been a bit easier to not reinvent the wheel and bars it off a microtech otf knife. Grab a lightning otf for $30 and model it after that even.
I'm interacting to support the channel and to help boost it in the algorithm! algorithm boost engage!!! This was better than PewDiePie playing Minecraft, or Markiplier and JackSepticEye playing Fortnite while watching ASMR videos.
im suspecting that this will be like AC Valhalla's Assassins blade will be apart from that it jumps out but im more into ac then cyberpunk so i know more about it. i may be wrong
Thats imposible if it will be inserted in your arm because of rusting and that is bad but even if you try to do it a peace of wire will be inserted in your mind and conected to the hand controling piece in your mind and has to do surgery on your arm, neck and scalp opening the skin and bone and inserting the wire because if the wire is pulled out the wire has a piece of brain making arm control even harder and the wepon will malfunction so they have to do surgery and they have to make something that doesnt rust like metal that doesnt rust and a servo that is small and strong because cuting other musle will lead to less arm control so they will have to make a more more smaller wepon so it will be smaller then you thought so it will be less usfull and your musle will strech because the creator made it look like a face sucker egg and it will hurt so will you take the thing or so called wepon i recomend a metalic straw that has a small bee hive thing that go thro the nose to the lungs and cuting it making internal bleeding and if it go to the heart a straight kill Edit:hahaha try to read that all Another edit: you have to blow the straw to kill some one
I saw the title and I already know what I came here for, now take my money and give me a mantis blade
Nice CAD (Cardboard Aided Design)
Nice🤣🤣
Damn I didn’t realize how much you’ve been posting recently props to you Jairus
You’re giving me flashbacks to your Iron Man rocket launcher
Those look great. Love hearing your thought process for starting and the mechanisms.
Thanks!! The next installment will have a lot more information and it’s going to really come together and start to be crazy! I’m so excited!!!
Can not wait for more! Mocking it up in cardboard is a step most makers do not show, thanks for reminding us the best builds always start small.
To think that I went from stumbling across some cool dude at Scifi In the Valley a few years ago to being subscribed to him boggles my mind. Can't wait to see this final project and I hope maybe I can buy one too!
I wonder what will come
First? a playable version of the game or this project being completed.
By some stroke of luck, it was the former. Game's playable now. Have fun.
Our dude here NEEDS a cnc machine. He should make a kick start thing to raise funding for a whole set up.
This is why i LOVE your channel. You use simple tools and work really hard to make these awesome projects while other RUclipsrs use CNC or laser cutters that other people don't have. You have my respect and keep up the good work.
Oh my god, I was waiting for something like this. Bless the notification 🙏🙏
Thanks!! Me too! I love these big projects and it’s been too long since I did one.
@@jairusofall I'm really looking forward to the next videos, I'm already shaking with anticipation.
Stay safe *^____^*
You can make the titanium even harder by heating it up and letting it air cool. (Titanium doesnt require a quench it pretty cool)
RUclips algorithm has blessed me this day. I will nou be binging your channel good sir.
Holy shit this is going to be such a cool series, thanks jairus
Awesome project! Can’t wait to see it finished and how you make it, as well as all the problems you encounter when making it XD
I cannot wait for part 2
What happen to the Aquaman project?
I understand it takes time just wondering about the progress.
Ps I love your videos!
I’m working on it when I have time in the background but I have an enormous amount of work that I have to get caught up on. It will be the next project barring any unforeseen circumstances.
I know I’m a little late, but I just came from the hacksmith and this stuff is awesome!
I love your videos man.
You're always doing really interesting projects, but also you're really entertaining and engaging, and teach things in very interesting and enjoyable ways.
this is a super great build! last time i saw one of your videos was back in 2017, glad youre still making video game weapons
Someone please sponsor this guy for a Wazer. I have no doubt he would create some amazing content with it.
Keep up the great work Jairus.
I saw my name on the table! I am so happy to see your new build . Keep up the amazing work!
Looks fantastic so far! Cant wait to see the rest!
Nice! I had this exact same idea a couple weeks ago and tried to build a prototype out of paint stir sticks.
A shame the actual game didn’t turn out well, but this project will! Props to you Jairus for taking on this! Very excited!!
Proud to be a patreon! This build will be most excellent 😎
I was hoping someone would do something like this or like real life arm jack kind of thing
Freakin’ epic project. Such a tease though! I can’t wait for the next part! 👍🏼
You have my interest on this
looks great so far. love you videos I'm glad to see a your again in my feed so soon
You don’t need air pressure. I immediately thought of a slide similar to a stapler mixed with a push button knife
“Starting to make anything will get you going.” I’m not a maker in the same sense but this is true for my trade as well
Dude it looks awesome already !
This is so cool yet terrifying that it's actually theoretically possible
I've been looking forward to this. Even if I havent ever actually played cyberpunk.
The moment I saw the mantis blades I debated buying the game just for them.
I am so god damn excited for this
Very cool.
Excited for the next part already, but no pressure.
Also, the "byeeee" at the end... Reminds me of someone... I wonder who... lol

First major thing I noticed was walcoms name on your table like dang, guess everyone's gangster till walcom builds a set of these for the next war.
This is gonna be EPIC!
This is gonna be amazing !
I'm surprised the hacksmith hasn't done this by now.
Love the technical terms and very impressed with the pneumatic function by hand!
Grab a cheap little 1x30 belt sander from harbor freight, it's the best tool I've ever gotten for fabrication :)
nvm just saw the beltsander xD
OMG lol I just uploaded mantis blade crafting just yesterday XD but this one looks more solid than what I made thought :P Awesome work!
Definitely digging the exotic materials choice. fuckin' rad idea so far my brometheus.
Oh my god. This'll be good.
That’s a beautiful work 🔥🔥
I never get notified when your videos release.
A live stream after video release might let you exchange ideas with your subscribers. Maybe it is worth a shot?
Anyway, great video, love your content!
The under part of the "sheath" in game appears to also be sharpened.
if you change the voltage you can anodize the titanium in different colours
Now thats cool
Ah, love this! Keep up the good work ^v^
When you said that you spent days, you could see the death in your eyes
Pa lease, do a mr torgue build. Just super mad max and over the top ridiculous
I think a laser cutter is the next thing on the tools list
This is amazing
if you put the 1st hinge under your wrist you would get more range
Awesome but maybe you want to get some kind of laser cutter for metal so you don’t have to grind
When will part 2 come out??
Eeeeeeeeeeee super excited man!
Damn this is cool
Love the work!
Did you thought about anodising the titanium to give it a color? You already have the power supply
Use puddy to build a resevoire around what you want to engrave then fill with the salt water and then add electricty.

Realistically titanium for the blade is most accurate. Considering titanium is often used for sub-dermal/surgical implants
Thea Ulrich made one too
I hope this kind of Weaponlgical implant becomes a thing😂
