@@artistanthony1007 I don't care about using machines to make us cooler. I like the sound, so if I ever lose a limb I will have thta going for me, and any others who are missing limbs. What I meant by "what the heck..." is this -> "I'm already feeling legit cyberpsychosis coming from the temptation of transhumanism but I still have control to resist it long enough" that just sounds weird.
I was thinking the same thing. Damn this would be a terrifying weapon. Could just go over the forearm. The extra bulk could be hidden under some baggy sleeves.
@jeanluc305 If I were to make it I would make the blades titanium with a hardened steel tip/edge and spring powered. An air cylinder would add too much bulk and complexity.
@jeanluc305 Yea but, you'd still only be able to deploy it once. With a spring mechanism you'd be able to re-cock on the go. And you can just use a strong enough spring to make sure it will do damage. Part of the reason I wanted it to be titanium is so that it's light and will accelerate more when deployed even if energy stored in the spring is limited.
@jeanluc305 Are you sure those tools aren't simply connected to a compressor/pump? If you add that, you'd need a power source for it, and it would become very bulky and heavy. Also 2 cylinders for both directions adds extra too. From other examples, like Furze's pneumatic grappling hook or some guy (don't remember the name) on some mythbuster spin-off show made a self cocking pneumatic or hydraulic crossbow and it ended up huge and heavy. This seems like an application where you really wanna keep it light and fast.
@@mrkiky Why use springs and hydralics when you can just create a mechanical manual movenment + it will be legal in more countries. I have designed a working model already...

Omg lol I wish you would have shown more of the hand painting because it looked amazingly realistic with the subtle blues that were the veins and the gentle blending of the colors for skin pigment. Wow, like I need a whole video on just how you did that
@@thesavagegummybear7341 I'm not hating man. I just can't take people like you anymore. The miserable will always find something to complain about. You people are sad.
Raul J so I’m miserable for wanting something? If that’s your train of thought then I think you need to seek the love your parents never gave you, I’m sure that making it move is totally possible and I know for a fact that there are other people that would just love to see it move, so if that makes me and all those other people that I know would find that cool, miserable? Then boy are you ever stupid.
@@thesavagegummybear7341 oh it seems like I hit a spot huh. Did I describe you in detail honey? Now talking about the "love my parents never gave" is some childish shit dawg. Let's enjoy the hard work these people put into this masterpiece, and hopefully one day you'll learn that complaining on something you can't do yourself is the most selfish thing a human being can do. Sculpting (hell, even drawing) a hand is impossibly hard.. I'm wondering why she took the hard way! Why not just take a mold of her actual hand? It's pretty simple and I know she knows how to make molds! She's damn good at it too! Either way, her hard work payed off... it looks friggin amazing. Just awesome.
I just found you guys randomly and judging by your accent i figured you are german. Turns out you are. Also, it turns out you guys were at the Fantasy Basel. Seems like I'll see your work or even meet you guys in the next FaBa. Nice.
WoW great job! Great details with the arm and the blade. The skin, the palm, the cables, the small cover plates and much more. Wonderful I am excited. : D
Magnifique, sublime, exceptionnelle, les mots me manque tellement c'est beau ! Vous êtes la Léonard de Vinci du cosplay ! Un grand respect pour votre travail. :)
Damn, great job coloring! The skin looks fantastic and every time you picked up the synthetic muscles I was surprised they didn't behave like cord - they look so much like it!
This looks amazing I am also so excited for this game and I will be just old enough were my parents won't bonbard me about what is in the game when it comes out.
It reminds me of the News Report and video; in the game, of a thief trying to mug a business woman, who ends up killing him when she produces her Mantis Blade to defend herself. It was bloody hilarious. Cyberpunk 2077 is great with all these things that could be missed easily if you aren't looking for it. So many little things added to make it feel more real. I Love it.

I'm so happy that RUclips recommended this video to me. You both definitely deserve an art award for this outstanding work.

There are probably amputees calling their prosthesis makers, asking to be fitted for one of these. 😜
Everyone who watched the video must have thought of this exact thing.
PageMonster yeah I just commented saying that same thing Lol
To be honest, as a non-regular to this channel, I was expected the prop being made to *be* a prosthetic.
Everything is an opportunity if you look at ut in another point of view
I've been thinking of hacking off a limb just to get in line!
I've never been so impressed!!! Breathtaking
I am totally outside of this scene and just bumped into this video. That was super impressive and cool. Great work.
