@@Maegnas99 If they "know" why would they use rattle cans for 99.99% of it? Sorry I didn't watch the 2 seconds at the end of the vid. The second part of my comment still stands.
Not for nothing but for +$5000 you could have bought a kriss vector and had a custom 3d print frame... Still amazing work. The quality is top notch to be sure! Wow
Some of the pistol chassis kits kinda look like this. Think of the flux raider, that could be modded easy. Or just fosscad around a 10/22; those are small enough to make it functional in anything.
maybe you just did not show this but clearcoating and sanding spots where you used whaterslides makes those parts look even better because you dont have any visible outlines from those decals left
You are such a Masters. Awesome! I am working on working airsoft version of mini-pistol from System Shock remake. Also with functional ammo counter. Anyway, thank you for sharing this priceless content. Looking forward for your new crafting vids)
As can always be expected from this channel, this is super awesome and inspiring stuff!! 🤩 I don't know if you are already aware, but one small tip i can recommend to minimise the 'sheen' of waterslide decals is to trim down the film around the image before adding them to the water, and to apply them on top of a gloss coat to minimise the air trapped underneath! Then a clear matt or gloss coat can be sprayed on top and this goes a long way to get rid of that 'sheen' and make the markings look painted on! (But if you are already aware of this please disregard! Sometimes the decal look is exactly what's desired! ✨)
Wow. That was awesome. Thank you. I know some people don't believe. But i loved this game. Even when it wss getting all that bad press. The storyline and V the main character is amazing and i just over a month i finished my 9th play through on console. I am just glad cos of the anime. People are starting to love it. But everytime i say something. People accuse me of being paid by CD Projekt Red 🤣 I truly wish they would. Anyway. I digress. Love you're work. Keep it up.
Terrible work. Doesn't even come close to breaking the Geneva Convention. 0/10 seriously though AMAZING work. It looks exactly how it gets rendered in the game on high-rez!
Sorry.. But how can this project be so hard? After all, you got the 3D files from CD project Red and the 3D printer did 70% of the job... Still, nice prop.
Sounds like you have a lot of experience with 3D printed props. The actual printing process makes up far less than 70% of the job, even if you already have the files.
Just running a FDM 3D printer is an endeavour , let alone a Resin Printer . By now I'm sure they have fine-tuned theirs and know them in and out , but there's a metric shit ton of things you have to take into consideration for your print to be successful . Resin printing is more akin to sorcery than anything else ... Even if you have a 3D model , you still need to separate it into smaller pieces that fit your print bed , in a way that's also well-thought-out for assembly later , then you need to slice your file for it to be readable by your Printer . It's not just a matter of slapping a raw 3D model on a USB stick and expecting a good print to come out of it . Especially since a video game asset is not modelled with 3D printing in mind . Then you have the post-processing . Yeah , with resin prints it takes less time , but only AFTER you've cleaned your prints with IPA and cured them under a UV light , whereas FDM prints are ready to be worked on straight out of the printer . Obviously Lightning is a real professional and perfectionist , so there's going to be a lot of sanding involved to get rid of all the layer lines ( yes they still exist on resin prints ) and especially the seam lines between two pieces , which can be tricky to get rid off , knowing that even a micron of wiggle room will mean your paint layers will crack at that very spot later . Should I go on , or do you understand why 3D printing actually involves a lot of work, especially for such clean and perfect results ?
@@Tomcat_Coyote exactly 🙏 thank you for explaining. People always think 3D printing is easy or that it’s even cheating 😂 but they never worked with a 3D file that is not made for 3D printing and never had to remodel parts and separate the whole thing into pieces and find the perfect printing settings for each piece. There goes SO much work into this.
Oh wow, this is EASILY the best replica anyone ever made!
that's literally perfect, not one detail left out. as if it was the real thing
almost like they got the 3D files from the DEVs
Imagine if it was lmaooooo
Beautiful piece of work! Incredible attention to detail.
This looks terrific, you guys always do such quality work
I must check info of this youtuber and I was correct. German engineering! wow, excellent work!
That's the gold standard of prop making! Amazing work!
Fantastic job! Top notch prop building right there!
You guys should invest in an airbrush, they're very versatile and cost saving. Also should look into decal softener/setting mediums.
They have an airbrush? they literally used it in the video. Mate you're telling profession cosplayers and prop makers things they already know.

You made Cohh's gun. That's waaaay cool.
That Display turned out great!
What a build!!! Gorgeous!
Now that you've done this excellent build, why not also make Skippy? (Would be a little hard to get the hologram working though!)
I love that while showing us the "gun"/ model.... she used proper gun safty practices... as her finger never touched the trigger...lol that's awesome
incredible work! I would geek so hard seeing that Arasaka case in an airport

Top tier work. It's a great design for a future gun.
Beautiful work!
Love this weapon in game, it’s easily one of my favorites
That is an incredible build.
I wonder how hard it would be to make a functional or semi functional one.
Gives me FGC-9 and mild Vector vibes.
Some of the pistol chassis kits kinda look like this. Think of the flux raider, that could be modded easy. Or just fosscad around a 10/22; those are small enough to make it functional in anything.
I'd reckon it would be mostly functional but the magazine and feeding would be the only difficult section to design
maybe you just did not show this but clearcoating and sanding spots where you used whaterslides makes those parts look even better because you dont have any visible outlines from those decals left
Can you share your waterslide decal process? What printer/paper are you using to get white and coloured ink?
Thank you for the great tutorial!

I'm just saying it's kind of cheating when they give you the exact 3D model just saying
