Hi Chris. I'm a new subscriber and have been binge watching your videos for the past week. I am an English ex ex-pat and lived and went to school in Bangkok from 1996 to 2000. My stepfather was one of the electrical engineers on the sky train so our family moved there. I was only a teenager, now in my 40's and my memories of Bangkok are slowly fading. It is an absolute joy and a privilege to follow you along on your travels here - I really am grateful. My time in Bangkok was magical, the Thai people are undoubtedly the most beautiful people in the world and I'm so happy you find the place special too. I truly hope that one day you will have a home base there but until then, I will continue following you on your travels there and around the world. You are absolutely right. It has a completely unique vibe: Mix between west and east, poor and rich, traditional and modern, classy and sleezy, dirty back allies and beautiful parks... Add to that the opressive heat, constant roar of the traffic, the smells of all the food being prepared right on the sidewalk. Its almost like a true cyberpunk city which you can love and hate at the same time. Very addictive indeed.
Normally i don’t comment on travel videos but i can’t recommend thailand enough to people. I’ve been to a few places, mexico, jamaica, thailand, portugal, amsterdam, turkey etc and i will say thailand is 100% the best holiday i have been on. Me and my partner went last year for 2 weeks and feel like we had to book again asap. We’re going again next year for 2 weeks and have roped in a few people to come with us. Its beautiful and the people are so nice and genuine its unreal. Food is incredible too!

I'm from NY and am also addicted to Thailand. I work from Bangkok a couple times a year. It's way more alive and fun than NY. Although, I will say NY is probably the most Asian city in the Western world in terms of chaos, buzz and action.

I’ll be there for the first time in December. Planning on staying for 6 weeks to capture Xmas NYE etc. I’ll land in Bangkok and just wing it with no plans other than spend a bit of time North then work my way South to probably fly home after time around Phuket/Krabi. I can’t wait🎉🥳

I cannot agree more! I have the exact sentiments about Thailand. As a fellow traveller, I have to agree that nothing compares to it. I've been there twice already - both 8 months at a time. I've never stopped thinking about it since my last stay. The cravings are strong again😩😬😂 Have a blast as you always do! ✨🙌🏼😁
I totally agree what you say you have to go but that feeling of wanting to be there its the best place in the world. It's hard to explain and so addictive. Honestly you have to go if you haven't. Was lucky to go 3 times this year and hope I can save again for after New year.

I've been there about seven times. Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket are my favorite places. I did Muay Thai camps three different places as well. I love your Thailand material as I haven't been in six years and really miss it. It is crazy how busy Thailand is these days, I remember how it looked during Covid and it is nice that it is booming so much now.
