I have practiced almost daily for two or three months now and it makes a huge difference to my complex PTSD. I struggle with mindfulness and typical forms of mediation due to hypervigilance and dissociation but your voice is so soothing and the rapid nature of these recordings help me to stay present and not drift. I have never been able to meditate, so I was overjoyed when I discovered incredible inner peace practicing with you from the first time I found you onward. I meditate using your videos almost daily. I found, and just completed this one today. It’ll be one of, if not the, favourite. The sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks, with the singing bowl accompanying it is wonderful!! I’m transported to laying on the sand with the sun warming my body (instead of the reality of being cosy under my electric blanket). It was pure relaxed bliss. Thank you. More with this background would be appreciated❤

I just love the concept of rebellious rest. Rest is a true rebellion against the doctrine of productivity, but it is productive within itself.

Hi Ally! Would you be open to making a video that spends a longer period of time on each body part? 30 seconds-1 minute? I always need a few breaths to connect with each body part and so I'm always a few beats behind as you move along the body! Lol! I have been doing yoga (all styles) for decades and have a dedicated daily practice. I am also have been a Kundalini yoga teacher for 15 years. However, I have never dived into yoga nidra until recently. It is having a profound effect on my overall calm. Thank you, Ally. This is a powerful tool.

Love the video, really helps me with my stress.
I like to do breathing exercises on my way to work in NYC, but the city noise is too much sometimes in New York City.
I actually decided to combined white noise and box-breathing in my channel just so I can listen to the breathing rhythm while having the white noise drowning out the city noise. I got to say it has been working really well for me so far. I have FAR fewer STRESS and ANXIETY.

I was disappointed at first THEN. PLEASED I used deep relaxation in 1983 to relieve anxiety caused through medication AWFUL side effects. More recently I haven’t been able to meditate until TODAY AND IT WAS GREAT 👍 HAVE SUBSCRIBED AND LOOK FORWARD TO MANY MORE RELAXATION SESSIONS FOR CONFIDENCE ENERGY AND PEACE OF MIND. 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤

I have been following you for a few years and practicing daily. The "reversal of breathing" is very effective -- What is that called? And the experience of the whole side of the body - sometimes with the opposite side cerebral hemisphere -- an isolation of awareness? Energetic work? What is this called?

I find your yoga nidra very restorative but i always doze off. We always finish our yoga classes with yoga nidra but i stay fully concious there.

Thank you Ally 🙏🏽 I had a really unusual physical experience while breathing through the palms of my hand. My hands touching on my belly lost their outline. Like there was no beginning or end to me. Mostly awareness at that area, my hands heart and midsection. And a visual experience also. I have been daily practising Yoga Nidra for about 4 months to support my nervous system. I have enrolled Tor the teacher training and am so excited to start so I may share this healing practise in the future 🕉 ❤🧘🏼♀️
