In this video we add some shine to Edna!
If I was to do this again I’d do it in this order!!
1. Scrub it good first!!
2. Buff and polish any trim!
3. Wash her off to get any compound off!
4. Coat her with some sauce!
The sauce will turn satin/matte when it’s dry! It does keep the rust and patina darkened up!
Patina Sauce available start sweetpatina.com
I know there are several options for preserving rust! This is just the combo I decided to try!

Hood?
I used to live in the hood! Luckily I got out and live in a decent neighborhood now! Just playing, I need to paint the bottom of it and the hood hinges!
He's rolling that Towmater look
My husband and I are in our 60’s and though so many 1000’s would argue, we’re your number 1 fans!!! We love you so much!!
Just finished watching the entire build.. impressive and very good. I like how you explained how to do it all. I am sure you have helped a lot of people with their projects.
just finished watching entire travelall build. I can see the discipline and attention to detail from working on aircraft in the way you work. nicely done. enjoy the Channel.
👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
This has been so fun to go back and watch the history. You just keep getting better.
Edna is looking sweet!! Hubcaps really set it off, not much left to do but drive and enjoy!!
Some interior and seals!
What a good use of my time watching this build. Very impressed with how it turned out. I’ve got to say you’ve made my top 3 RUclipsrs that I can sit and watch an entire build and not get bored. Now on to another playlist of yours lol.
Man so happy for you finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel looks awesome 👍🏻
Thank you!!
Just watched the entire build in a few weeks! Awesome work and sweet build!
Just went back and watched the whole build,, man that thing is sweet!!!!!! Truly more to this truck than meets the eye before I watched you build it and you made it look easy!!! Thanks for sharing. And definitely sold me on Patina Sauce!!
I've seen other channels throw magnets on branded license plates to cover up the actual plates on vehicles in their videos. Just a thought. 🙂 It was a real pleasure watching the build. Excellent work, Puddin!
I just watched this whole series of Edna build awesome job Puddin!!
Lot of time and work. Getting to have the daughter ride with you priceless
She LOVES the Travelall!!
Looking good brother! You are wonderful at making paint match the patina! I don’t know how you do it? You’re just plain talented. The end is in sight!
Thanks Wayne! It was very time consuming!!!
Hey man, the truck looks amazing!! I ran across your channel while I was searching for info and such on the 1965 Travelall that I just picked up, I can’t wait for the Canadian winter weather to shape up so I can get out there and start working on it, ya know “get off my ass” lol love it... Thanx for the kick in the ass to get back to some of my projects, hope you keep posting, love watching your talent at work...
I’ll be posting! Just added a new one kind of talking about the direction I’m headed right now with the channel! It’s in my Datsun video. Good luck with your project!!!
Love to see it have more primer or paint like the look it has you done great job with this project young man !!
beautiful truck/suv/ wagon. love it man! great work!
Coming way back to watch and see how to polish patina...just started on my dads truck i inherited...
Love the build man. I just went through all your videos of the build... Man I love the style very nicely done. I have an old tractor that is a similar blue(not a ford) I took a scotchbright and vinegar to the rusty hood (lightly) and couldn't believe how much paint was actually there. I think I may do the whole tractor and use the Sweet patina sauce on it when I have it all going. Its a project.
That would be cool! Crazy how much paint hides under there!
That has turned out really cool! All your hard work and fabrication has paid off! Finish is cool! Love the dog dish caps! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Just finished watching the whole build . Nice work !
Epic build! Love this vehicle almost as much as I love watching this channel.
I like to use sos pads.. The soap in them lubricates the pad.. It really helps clean stains out.
My flannel shirts have the same custom wrinkles...
Haha i have some that seem to sit in the shop and that’s how they get custom wrinkles
Hooot🔥 daamn.... Just watching some of your older videos....JJ..
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya 🙏
Love the patina sauce look ! I think the truck needs some too for sure !!!
Love the travel all and the way its shaping up !
Thanks man! I’ll be doing the truck soon!
This travelall is amazing!!😍 love it!!😍
Thanks!
She really turned out good 👍👍🇨🇱 go ahead and shine your truck up too👍👍🇨🇱
I think I will!
Love that Travelall ! What a beautiful patina ! I recently got a 90 GMC Suburban and it will soon get the sauce too. Chevy did some lousy paint jobs thanks to being too lazy to sand the primer before final paintIng ! I kind of figured out long ago that spending all that money for a nice paint job will really piss you off in the long run because in no time at all someone keys it or runs into it or opens their door in a parking lot and that's all she wrote ! Screw it, RAT RODS RULE ! LarryMac
I definitely love what he's done to that wagon that is badass he's put a lot of work into that s*** I didn't think you was going to be able to do s*** I watch this whole program and he's f****** bad-ass when it comes to fabricating I love astragalus panel wagon
Good to know someone's reproducing those roof rack brackets. I have seen them before under the Quick and Easy brand name. Lots of rafting enthusiasts have used them.
That looks real nice! Thanks for putting the process on video!
Thanks for watching!
This video really shows the awsomesauce, at its best. Great results 👌👍👍
Very nice International for sure. Well done on the application explanation of the Sauce......I just ordered a Trio Pack because of this video.
Keep p the good work.
Looks really sweet. Can’t wait to see what you do next. Plus, I have finally watched every episode now. Just took three months.
Damn! Thanks for watching them!
I did boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits on my 53 Chevy COE. Left it a bit sticky in spots where I didn't get it wiped off enough, BUT it really punched out the patina. And I don't ever plan on painting it.
That is one fine looking IH hippie wagon Travelall, I’ll bet that stuff will improve the finish of your pickup too. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching!
Good lookin ole binder. You got me inspired to get back to working on mine. Definitely gonna souce em
McLovin IT! I'll try this in the Spring! My baby is hibernating in the garage for the Winter in the Frozen North! Canada your neighbor to the north
Just wondering if you wet sanded the rust and let it continue to re-oxidise a little bit, and then hit it with the sauce, what would it look like? My skin was crawling when you went over the rust because it was so rough. I haven't tried it myself so I can't say for sure but would like to see a sample of that to see how it would come out. The shine might last longer that way as well.
I wouldn’t sand this rust to that point myself.
Did the pressure washer trick on my little guy too. Funny As hell!!
Thanks for the entertainment, you are doing an awesome job… 👍🏻
Weed Whacker in the background makes it sound like an episode of Red Green. LOL Love Edna
After re-seeing the PU. My opinion is the travel all would look real sharp with white walls too !
I agree! Unfortunately they don’t make them in the tire size I want!!
@@PuddinsFabShop Can you buy some white letter ties and buff them? Used to know a guy who did that.
Excellent job Puddin
I love that old travelall I have a 1967 international pickup
Awesome man! Thanks!
It really looks great ! You really have done a nice restoration ! Thumbs Up !
Thanks!!
Did I hear you say it's someone else's rig? It's a beauty!
Wow what a difference the sauce makes. How long do it last?
That truck looks badass! Great job!
Thank ya!
wonder how patina sauce would look on a black car. Looks awesome on the travelall!
Killer work! It looks great!
I never lived in a hood, but I lived in a trunk for a while. looks great man.
Damn! Thanks!
Try a soapy SOS pad for the rusty Chrome .Itcould make the difference .
Looks good, I wondered how you might do the roof. My F100 is similar in that it’s really rusty on top then patinas down the sides. Been debating clr, steel wool, buffing, etc. I think I’ve decided not to matte clear it for now, just unsure of lifespan and potential issues.
I wouldn’t clear it myself. I don’t like clear on them. There’s several options just ha r to decide which is best for you!
Great improvement cant wait to see it with the hood back on. Did you get all the little bugs worked out yet?
I need some nice weather to get the hood on! Most all of the bugs are gone!!
Damn good job! Anyone be proud to own it!
Hey truck came out awesome! Watched every episode of your build...hope you post more. I think the sauce would be great on the pick up also!
More videos are coming but I’ll be changing u content some! I appreciate you watching this build! It’s crazy how much work it was to keep it looking pretty damn simple!
Just wondering does it shine . I’m trying to keep the flat look.
Everything looks great! Any chance you can also realign the trim between the driver's door and fender?
Ya it’s loose. I need to address trim in 4 spots and fix the headlight bezel on the driver side. It’s flopping around.
awesome build
I think it looks awesome man!
I bout some after watching you use it on your channel, with your promocode it came with your sticker!
are the roof rack mounts cast aluminum or cast Iron?
I learn something every day.!!
mr Puddin question patinasause is it also good for a car with a perfect paint ?
Negative.
yup...definitely like that truck.....great job
Thank you!
I may have to get me sum of dat patina stuff!
YOU DID ONE BADD ASS JOB WITH THE WHOLE BUILD BROTHER...
Thanks man!
Man Congrats....Much Respect...It looks....Good...#1 🏆..🔥✔...... THANKS FOR SHARING BROTHER..👊😎
Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Looks so good
I had three of these travelalls and now I'm sorry I sold them. GRRRRRR!!!!
SWEEEET! looks amazing. Definitely think it could make the truck look even better. Does the Patina Sauce fade quickly? All that work is paying off. 👍👍😎👍👍
It sets up satin/clear and you can do another light coat every 5-6 months.
Where did you get those roof rack clamps!
Yup....
Man I love this truck.
Nice job the truck looks great
Thank you!
I called you out Puddin!! Let's see a burnout in Edna!!
I don’t even know if she’ll spin em.
@@PuddinsFabShop Well we know the shortbed well! If all else fails get the ol' ladies minivan!
@@MortskeRepair bout to break out the 2000 corolla
@@PuddinsFabShop Dang! Is that the V6 model?!?
It’s the no way in hell model!
Looks great. I use linseed oil on mine, but I might look into getting some this Patina Sauce. Postage to Australia could be a killer though. Can’t wait to see it with the bonnet and steering wheel (did you get it?) on. Any plan for the seats?
I need to paint the bottom of the hood first! It will be getting interior!
It looks really cool.
Thanks!
Wow It looks Great! Does this sauce dry? How do you think it would do with paint that the clear has checked or flaked off?
It does dry. I’m honestly not sure how it would do.
Save yourself some money and use boiled linseed oil works great
No thanks!
Looks GREAT
When you put the eyeballs on, you became the Puddin we know today...
Little miss ham / helper appears again. I'm wondering if your daughter is hooked on pressure washers, she seems to have a lot of fun with them. Haha!
Ya she does! 😂
im sold on that stuff
It looks like there is a face looking at you on the passenger door at 6:35 that is cool
Thank you 🎉
Damn that is one sweet cornbinder carryall......
Picking up subs like a Boss right now eh? Nice!
Trying to!
Patina Sauce makes Edna look Beautiful !!!
