Puddin buddy those of us that watch your videos every week don’t care what kind of content you make. You always find a way to make it entertaining. You don’t have to worry about if you think it’s boring or not we love it either way
This may be my favourite you tube build. Never saw someone build their own a arms for front suspension and then all the calculations for rear suspension I was really impressed. The history of it being with you since high school makes it so much more special too
It's the only build I've seen that is realistic for the average person. Not some hundreds of thousands of free parts from sponsors crap that the builder doesn't care about. Every bit of this truck is passion and realistic expectations.
Wife and I have been watching your mail call videos all afternoon. We have both decided that Hoteod is so dang cute and funny. We think she takes after her Daddy. You are raising them right.
You are blessed Sir. You're doing what you love. You make people laugh, cry, and learn all on a Monday. Plus you have a beautiful family. God's smiling in you Mr Puddin. Prayers for your grandmother.
I-love-it! This channel has given me a whole new appreciation for “rusty by trusty” even though it’s been rebuilt. A new appreciation for patina, and the purposely built to look old and wore out. Looks amazing man, I love your work
I preferred the cab in that sweet blue myself, but it's not my vehicle. No matter how it ends up, it's still been a fun ride watching you build it. Keep up the great work man!
A long time ago I seen an old timer take a grinder to a set of tires and make his own white walls for his hotrod, dude the mirrors make it!! Looks sick now so clean it's perfect
Back in the 70s, we just used brillo pads or SOS pads to clean white walls. I don’t know if that’ll work on that blue stuff. I was a little hesitant on the fake patina til you show the “roller” paint job. Lookin good!!
With some of these newer ones you just straight up have to sand or grind the blue off. I don't know what changed, when I was a kid a brillo pad worked just fine, but every whiteline or wall I've bought as an adult the blue was as stuck on as puddin's.
Very creative Puddin . I actually prefer the blue paint without the rust . Now your sticker on the box looks WAY too new . The whole truck looked better looking new .
Mate, you’ve done a great job on the lil Ute. Looking forward to seeing how the interior comes out. I’ve enjoyed watching the process and I’ve learned a thing or two. 🇦🇺🤙🏼
Sir Puuudaaaaain does it agaaaaaaaaain!!! Can't wait to see the full build and the finish up with that interior. This was a fun series. I knew nothing about air suspension before and now I know enough to be dangerous! Thanks for that!
Glad your Grandma is doin better. Gotta say, quit being so hard on yourself Brother. Sometimes you are your own worst critic Everything you have built is awesome! I’d be proud to own any vehicle you’ve built. We love ya up here in Broken Arrow!
I would watch an hour long video of you working on a push mower you always have quality content sir puddin I have loved seeing this truck come together can’t wait for the next video
Looks great in the video, and I am so glad you took the time to create this video I know some people may think this boring but I'm so glad you put it out there the how to will be stuck in my head forever and I've now watched it twice need some of the know how for future projects for sure. Thank you very much, love the hoodie wish there were 5XL left
A+ on rusticating the King! You did the bodywork and brought it up to snuff, only to sneeze a rust finish all over it! Ka-shew becomes oooh. You aged it into crustiness beyond earthly measure. You have the Rusty Midas touch. Watch out who you shake hands with! Thanks, Puddin.
I am going to be in the camp t hat it looked better before the patina. Some 800-2500 sandi disks would have gotten you a decent finish, but that's not what you wanted. You pay your money, you get your toys the way you want. That's the way the world works. Looking forward to the next episode have a good week.
a little bit of dishwashing soap and comet in a bucket of water and a scrub brush works great to remove the blue off of the white wall on the tires and also works to wash and keep the white walls super bright white
You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life. --Steve Jobs;
Puddin': for removing the rear wheels..... instead of trying to "tip" and drop them down from under the box, would it be possible to modify the interior wheel tubs (I know another fab project) and "tip" and lift the wheels up into the box when removing? The component/box/frame geometry and clearance inside the box at the wheels leads me to think it could work and could eliminate the need to remove suspension components and the jacking gymnastics you have to go through now. Just a thought! Love the King Delivery!
Rims and tires definitely make a huge difference! But I was wondering if you've ever tried different colored steelies or always went with white with your builds
I'm old....we used SOS pads back in the 70s to get the blue goo off the whitewalls. Brings 'em back to white, too, when you put lipstick back on yer pig.
I'm so glad that this is your full-time job now! You're so much a relief to so many after the craziest days at work. Funny thing about it is - it's just that you're working too! You don't have to apologize for anything you do, we're with you 💯! You just keep building, and we'll keep building with you! Thanks for simply being you! Seriously, you don't have to change an inch. I need more thumbs!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 I don't think you've made a bad decision about aesthetics yet! Puddin's a Kindred Spirit! Just a Kindred Spirit closer to Taco Boy!!! 😋
On the blue 629, it looks cool to mount the side marker lights in side the fender. Run the screws through from outside. Did it on one of my old 620's. Pretty cool trick, makes 'em flush mount.
So sorry your grandma is in the hospital I am praying for her. My mom passed away last month I so miss her. She was born and raised in Oklahoma. I would spend my summers down at my Great uncle Dan Cook's place he was a black smith in Oklahoma. He was such a smart man. I love your videos. God bless you and your family.
I used to touch up paint my white car with some Rust-Oleum gloss white and a paint brush... It's working on its natural patina now since a deer retired the car. It's a parts car for my other clone (burgundy). My clone might just end up with a patina white door and trunk lid once I give it the towrola lift kit.
Patina looks good now to wait another week for new video thank the wife and kids for speedy mail my family got me 3 puddin fs shirts and sticker pack for my birthday yesterday awesome gift
What a great evening to relax and enjoy a video. Puddin glad to hear your grandma doing good🙏 . The old Datsun is coming around. Hopefully you can do some updates on it in the future. Thanks for the great videos on the Datsun King. Have a great week ahead and enjoy your evening 🖐
Aye puddin' you're on the way to 200,000 subscribers real quick. You are on your way to greatness. Especially once you get that new shop and property going, it'll be balls to the wall son! Right on brother ✌🤘🤟
Hey Puddin. I always found a good old Brillo pad or SOS pad took that blue right off any new tires that I bought. Just moisten it and give ‘em a good rub!
the blue on tornel tires is no joke ha ha my 13s are still blue after 3 months
THANK YOU! People ain’t hearing me here 😂😂😂
@@PuddinsFabShop ever tried MEK.
Edit-nm that rubber wheel eraser seems to be the ticket
@@PuddinsFabShop bought a set for a C10 ... only LIQUID i found to remove that dang blue was acetone ...
Just plain hot water. Usually dissolves it. Use it to remove it off all the tires we sell through our dealership.
Just run the air up as high as it will go and scrub a curb somewhere.
it worked on mine. lol
“Take a $400 beater and add a $300 set of tires and steelies and you got a $600 rig. . . “. I about spit out my tea through my nose!

Love that swinging arm idea.
It looks cool with the patina but I preferred it before honestly. But still very cool to see what you did. You made it your own. I like that.

I completely agree with you, wheels and tires can make or brake the look of a vehicle. Looks sweet!
Glad to see you finally came over to the magnetic base world!

I really think some nice shiny curb feelers would look perfect on the datsun king delivery and some nice shiney mirrors and valve caps
For sure
Bittersweet to see that thing finished. Really enjoyed the build and I look forward to seeing what the future will bring for it.
Oven cleaner works pretty good at getting the blue of the white walls and it works good for painted on pinstriping too!

Hey Puddin, SOS pads works really good for me on the blue rings.
It will make a old brown tire black again.
I agree. SOS pads worked great for me as well. They also helped keep the white walls nice and clean when they would get dirty.
yuppers with alot of water
The soapy sos pads
Back in the days when whitewalls were on everything thats what we used.
A build to be proud of. It looks fantastic !! Another a great time here at Puddin's Fab Shop. DAMN RIGHT BABY !!
