Why can't you access Oreo more easily? Unfortunately, new updates can take a long time to reach significant numbers of Android users. For example, at the time this was written, Android 7.0 Nougat, which launched last year has only been installed on around 13.5 percent of Android devices worldwide. Its predecessor, 6.0 Marshmallow, has reached 32 percent of Android users.
Android 8.0 Oreo is here-and by "here," we mean it's rolling out only to Google-produced devices, phones that run the stock, unmodified version of Android. Essentially, only those who own Google Pixel phones, the recent Google Nexus phones, and a couple of tablets can access it easily.
That's because manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Sony, Huawei, HTC, and others all add their own tweaks and extras to the stock operating system before making it available on their phones. Before updating to the latest version of Android, they want to put their own stamp on it. Incidentally, that's one of the reasons why Google has unbundled so many of its apps and features from the Android operating system. You can update everything from Gmail to the Google Play Store independently of the Android operating system, so Google is able to push the latest versions of its apps out even if the OS lags behind.

Do you have to enter recovery mode? Do you think you can just get right away to step 1 and 2?
Bro, there is a huge loop in your tutorial!! Just factory resetting in TWRP might not be enough in some cases and might soft brick the device....So make sure you clean flash that is wipe system, cache and data manually. Most roms do wipe them in the procedure automatically but when doing a tutorial, I think you should show them the right way!

As Shown In the Video.Always take a backup.If you follow the detailed video on installing Rom(links in the description) you will never see a bootloop . So Take a backup and backup that backup :D

when you wipe your phone will your data like contacts Fotos Apps and such still be available and will it still be there after the update? or do you have to restore those things from the backup?
Important Stuff like App data,Contacts,etc are/can be synced with your google account in the 'Backup & Reset' in android settings,that way contacts,etc will be restored when you log in into gmail on the new ROM
As for Media like photos,videos,etc stays in the Internal Storage(Internal SD/External SD) which remains intact,No data loss there.Regarding things stored in the flash storage,you will have to backup or move those to the Internal or External SD .Rest Assured

Usually The First Boot and soon after setup,android is still collecting resources and setting up itself in the background,it does lags for a while after boot,but after a couple of minutes it smooths out

Usually You root through the custom recovery

Installing A Rom only requires a custom recovery.Flashing a custom recovery Usually unlocks the bootloader in the process.Simly follow the guide to installing a custom recovery on your specific device and you will be good to install ROM

Yup,As you are taking a BACKUP before installing Oreo,If something happens to go wrong,you can always restore the backup and your device will be back to the way it was .As safe as safe gets

The Android Guy nobody on the internet was telling that the bootloader has to be unlocked.. I was not knowing this, and hard bricked my Yu Yuphoria..
The Android Guy are these prerequisites correct for flashing a rom:-
1) unlocked bootloader
2) phone should be rooted
3) must have a custom recovery
4) the downloaded custom rom should be on SD card

Yes your device will reset,Stuff like contacts and app data will be synced into your google account .Apps can be reinstalled from playstore 'My apps' section
