A fiction book (fast paced, abnormal abilities, and a LONG list of books to read, 15 lost files, 7 main, 3 after, and more) with gay representation was the Lorien Legacies (specifically Legacies Reborn), they had a couple gay characters, but most were straight. No non-binary or other stuff (maybe ace/aro, but it didn’t specifically say, but most characters weren’t new and the original ones were written in 2012 ish, so pretty old books. The first confirmed gay character appears in the 7th book, United as One, and is confirmed as gay in the third book of Legacies Reborn.)
