I always love this kind of videos because you get multiple perspectives on popular books, which I think is a great start to decide on reading a book or not. Btw i love your hair 🥰🥰🥰
In my opinion the shadow hunter series by Cassandra Clare is soo underrated! I’ve read all/ most of her books and absolutely loved all of them!! Thank you for giving them such recognition 😄🩷
the mortal instruments and the infernal devices were some of the most popular ya books a decade ago. they stopped being popular when the series became too long for new readers. so while maybe now it’s not popular, I wouldn’t say it’s underrated. if you were to google “multi fandom symbol” you’d find a symbol including pjo, divergent, hunger games, Harry Potter and tmi and this symbol was EVERYWHERE on tumblr and Instagram back in the day. Those that read the series just outgrew it and it became too big of a barrier to entry as she kept releasing books. in the nicest way possible, just bc a book is no longer popular, doesn’t mean it’s underrated. that said, I’m happy that you have such a strong opinion of a series that has brought me joy over the years as well

I agree with you on the Folk of The Air trilogy about wicked king being the least favourite and the first and last is sooooo good! Holly Black is the queen of faerielands in my head. Cassandra Clare is so inspired by Holly Black's fae world and integrates it into her shadowhunter books as well. I love both these authors for their fantasy series. And I want to read every book by these authors. They are an auto-buy for me! I am so happy The Infernal Devices topped your list!

Totally agree on the Infernal Devices! It’s just so amazing and it’s the best series to start into the whole universe and Cassandra Clare’s writing. You should really read the Mortal Instruments, it’s not as emotional and great as TID but it’s also just so amazing and you will love the characters!!

heyyyy i found a book recently that i think you'd love as much as i do. It's called "Anatomy a love story" Recheal Catherine put me on it but its so perfect. it historical, in Scotland YA with gothic themes and regency balls and all that fun stuff.
totally the same with Emily Henry!!!! I tried...TRIED to read 4 of her most popular books but each and every single one of them just didn't have that spark and I find her writing to be ok??? Idk the characters + story isn't all that breath taking compared to other authors i've read.
You just made my weekend with this video!!! I love how you just glowed everytime you speak of The Infernal Devices series & you really have me intrigued but that book looks really intimidating!! I can't wait to read Piranesi next after I'm done with my current read! Thanks for the awesome recs as always ❤ my 5 star reads for the year so far is: 1. Invisible Life of Addie Larue 2. Anatomy by Dana Schwartz 3. Made in Manhattan by Lauren Layne 4. Just one look by Lindsay Cameron
I’m reading ruthless vows now, it’s not the same as the first one, but it’s still really good… I need more of them! But I feel I skipped paragraphs, I don’t even know
I just read “the serpent and the wings of night” - I totally agree, both characters were really annoying after a while. The plot was terrible. So disappointing. I actually like fourth wing, but yes “fourth wing” inner monologue is relatable.
Heyy loved your ranking, new sub! I just wanna ask that The Crimson Moth book you showed here, does it include both the books? The Heartless Hunter and Rebel Witch since its a duology? Because I don’t get it.
My list (Best to worst): 1. Powerless 2. Fourth Wing 3. A Good Girl's Guide to Murder 4. Daughter of the Pirate King 5. A Court of Thorns and Roses 6. Caraval 7. Six Crimson Cranes 8. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief 9. Daughter of the Siren Queen 10. A Study in Drowning 11. The Inheritance Games 12. The Cruel Prince (This one was pretty slow, so it was hard to get through, yet still intriguing at the same time. Overall pretty good ig) 13. Hawthorne Legacy (I liked it but tbh I cant remember much of this *or* the first one, just that I liked them and the basic plot and specific scenes) 14. Iron Flame 15. Shatter Me (It was good. I enjoyed it. Js not rlly my type of book) I also read Warriors: The Forgotten Warrior and Warriors: The Last Hope, but I can't quite remember much. That series is kinda confusing, but rlly good haha
@ayanasingh1802 I would never read a series out of order 😭😭 I know so many people who have started that series on like The Sight or something and it drives me crazy lol

Is crimson moth also known as heartless hunter? Book one of the series?
Yes, it is! They have different titles in different places in the world.
I'm subscribing! I had the same experience with Serpent of wings and night and The House Across The Lake!
I feel the same way about Emily Henry’s books. They are not for me, the only one I liked was funny story and that was it 😭
My this year favourite so far is Good Girl Guide to Murder series ❤
I think you’d like “The love hypothesis” by Ali hazel wood I didn’t think I’d like it but I ended up really enjoying it.
totally the same with Emily Henry!!!! I tried...TRIED to read 4 of her most popular books but each and every single one of them just didn't have that spark and I find her writing to be ok??? Idk the characters + story isn't all that breath taking compared to other authors i've read.
OMG!!! I thought I was the only one that listened to the Bridgerton soundtrack while reading!!
You just made my weekend with this video!!! I love how you just glowed everytime you speak of The Infernal Devices series & you really have me intrigued but that book looks really intimidating!! I can't wait to read Piranesi next after I'm done with my current read! Thanks for the awesome recs as always ❤ my 5 star reads for the year so far is:
1. Invisible Life of Addie Larue
2. Anatomy by Dana Schwartz
3. Made in Manhattan by Lauren Layne
4. Just one look by Lindsay Cameron
Darling Venom is my fave Parker S. Huntington book.
Totally agree with House Across the Lake
Heyy loved your ranking, new sub! I just wanna ask that The Crimson Moth book you showed here, does it include both the books? The Heartless Hunter and Rebel Witch since its a duology? Because I don’t get it.
My list (Best to worst):
1. Powerless
2. Fourth Wing
3. A Good Girl's Guide to Murder
4. Daughter of the Pirate King
5. A Court of Thorns and Roses
6. Caraval
7. Six Crimson Cranes
8. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief
9. Daughter of the Siren Queen
10. A Study in Drowning
11. The Inheritance Games
12. The Cruel Prince (This one was pretty slow, so it was hard to get through, yet still intriguing at the same time. Overall pretty good ig)
13. Hawthorne Legacy (I liked it but tbh I cant remember much of this *or* the first one, just that I liked them and the basic plot and specific scenes)
14. Iron Flame
15. Shatter Me (It was good. I enjoyed it. Js not rlly my type of book)
I also read Warriors: The Forgotten Warrior and Warriors: The Last Hope, but I can't quite remember much. That series is kinda confusing, but rlly good haha
You only read two warriors books? And not in order? Of course it’s confusing lol
@@ayanasingh1802 No, I've read all of them up to there. That's just what I've read this year
@ayanasingh1802 I would never read a series out of order 😭😭 I know so many people who have started that series on like The Sight or something and it drives me crazy lol
@@Crimson_Mushroom makes sense lol,I thought you only read those two and I was like “Whatttt?”
@@ayanasingh1802 Loll
it's okaaay don't worry. The name of that Russian writer is Dosto"YEAH"vsky. instead of Dosto"YO"vsky. This is the first video of yours i found on my rec page, Didn't expect you to read Russian literature. P.s. You're such a beatiful
person, your speech is sooo calming- such a pleasure to ears. Sending love from Kazakhstan❤️❤️❤️
I loved piranesi!!!
Yess the I totally agreee with the serpent and the wings of night!!!! So disappointing 😭
Omg me too i did not think beach read was a 5🌟 like all youtubers are raiting! It's not a beach read, in this book it was always raining 🤷🏻♀️anyways 😂Every time you say i will get some hate about a book i feel
The same so you do you every taste is different. From went on i am reading all your 4-5 stars because we have the same vibe as you🌸
aah, what a fun & interesting video :)) ❤ and you
look so gorgeous!! and I also didn’t like “beach read”, i give it like 3 or 2.5 ⭐️🥲 and my absolute favourite book of the year so far is “lie with me” by philipp besson, I sobbed so much🥹🥹
The only flip I’d put on your list is Emily Henry & TJR…I just don’t think Taylor is for me & I enjoy Emily 😂 that why we are all different right? 😊
you remind me of the italian influencer and tv host Giulia Salemi!
and omg i LOVE clockwork prince
Seeing Icebreaker and Beach Read so low… real 😂
