Funny thing, by comparison - a few decades ago I had some friends who lived in northern California near where a couple decent size rivers came together. FWC is sworn state law enforcement with full arrest powers, same as any other officer in the state. They primarily focus on wildlife laws, but they're also the primary agency that enforces boating laws. The gear they wear allows them to quickly perform water rescues, if necessary. They can remove the exterior vest, which also holds all their gear, so they can get in the water without ruining $10k worth of gear. The thing on top of their vest is an inflatable life jacket. They don't have anything special that any other cop wouldn't have, with the exception of the life jacket. It's just a matter of how its worn, i.e. exterior vest for quick removal, vs concealed vest under a shirt and duty belt.
Personal protection, too many nuts, wackos and druggies out there. Check the statistics on officer assaults during routine traffic checks. These officers want to get home to the family just like you and I do. And on a boat check you might just run onto someone carrying a few kilos.
I'm certain all those guns and tactical vests help de-escalate tensions, and I know it's easier to swim in long pants and long sleeves. Game wardens dressed like commandos look silly. Sorry Florida.
@mikedrake5373 Watch the video a little closer, The sailboat was not a drift! The sailboat was anchored and while under power the Wellcraft crossed over the sailboat’s anchor line! @thatssoo949 because the guy who made the video is an idiot! Watch the video again and pay close attention! How do they all get out of there
FWC with enough tactical gear to pull off a night raid in Fallujah. Aren't they just game wardens? Is that paramilitary look really necessary?
Yeh I noticed that too! But how can the government do its job unless it has a boot on your neck! haha
You never know what it’s going to happen in a crowd
I thought the “most replayed” was gonna be the boat crash but it wasn’t. Y’all gotta get your heads outta the gutter 🤦🏻♂️ 😂
The kids on the waverunner were more responsible than the drunk adults
Fort George inlet above Jacksonville Florida gets like this in the summer. Been once and never looked back, way too many idiots on the water!!!
THAT'S someone's idea of fun?
Im sure they'll remember this day for as long as they can.
How is this pleasurable??
Many goodtimes at the bash. 😊
So what happened to the drifting sailboat? Why didn't FWC go after it. 🤔
@mikedrake5373 Watch the video a little closer, The sailboat was not a drift! The sailboat was anchored and while under power the Wellcraft crossed over the sailboat’s anchor line! When they crossed the anchor line it must have gotten caught on either the prop or rudder end it pulled the sailboat into them!
I lived down there for 3 years. They need to rename all of S. FL, “The Land of Daddy’s Boat”.
@stevenshome3970 First of all in 1993 I purchased a 25’ Grady White when I was 20 years old, I was making 61K a year plus 2 week vacation and full healthcare! Just because you failed to make something of your life it doesn’t mean others did the same, And even if it is daddy‘s boat who cares! It’s funny how people always say that they would do anything for their children, Usually the people that are saying it can’t while the people that can just do it! Don’t be jealous just go blame your parents!
Yes as I learned to drive a stick shift in my dad’s pantera at 15. Rember he saying ok son at 110 let it off now. If one drove that car it gets squally at 115. That was back in 83. Let kids be kids learn and grow some.
I googled the term clusterfuck and a link to this video popped up.
The donut patrol seem to have sufficient buoyancy even without life vests.
They Cops are not your friends , They are just out to get you.
That boat from the cops was losing a lot of air they just ask for a ride😆
Bro power is strong in this one.
What exactly is the Boca bash. Seems utterly pointless. Getting on a boat …and going nowhere. Surrounded by loads of other boats so much so that you can’t go anywhere even if you wanted to. And with the distinct possibility of having your boat damaged due to collisions as we saw. Am I missing something. What is this .
Read description of my video
Why did 5 cops jump aboard that boat involved in the sailboat accident?
To take declarations, maybe?
@thatssoo949 because the guy who made the video is an idiot! Watch the video again and pay close attention! The sailboat was not adrift it was anchored, The Wellcraft crossed over the anchor line and got tangled! So they boarded his boat to get his information and possibly check to see if the operator was intoxicated!
Sheep comes to mind ! 😂
Anyone know the make of the boat at 30 seconds in? Blue boat with triple 600 mercs and a tuna tower. It looks custom, but I was curious who the builder is.
Aside from the huge amount of damage to the environment, anybody drop a link to the music. Top tune.
Was there anyone on the adrift sailboat? Were the sails torn? Watching on cell phone can be hard. LoL.
@lindamortensen7835 You need to stream the video to your TV because the sailboat was not adrift, The sailboat was anchored and the Wellcraft crossed over its anchor line!
Are we gonna see pictures of your last vacation next time? 😂
@8:03 is why you're here.
Wouldn't want to be near any of that chaos. Like going on a boat to get away from people especially drunk ones
That's a mess. Drinks etc
Fun mess? Click on the link to see more of Boca Bash ruclips.net/video/yjGYuF96t6g/видео.html Thanks
They need to let law enforcement wear shorts 😎 IMO
They do, its up to the officer.
Boy them Floridians got it all figured out 😂 I love how they “identify” as politics even when out for a day of boating 😂
As a boater you might as well take your car to Walmart, park along side another 100 cars and drag out the kiddie pools....yap that looks like a cluster "F" of fun
3:53 Because the boat hit at different spots. He would have needed a lot more fenders.
He should have also questioned why his boat is on the other boat's anchor.
Glad I got a Triumph. Never used fenders. Since 07, never a problem. I unload and load at the dock a lot. Wouldn't have a fiberglass boat.
Funny how I never see any Biden-Harris flags on boats. 😂
because it is not a cult.
because boats are not given out for free.
The owners don't want to fall off the stairs when boarding.
Because Biden sucks!!
@@greenfinger8473 hahah and fall up the stairs too
What a chit show 👏
Where do they PEE? or do they just "swim" for that?
I like the flag on the lower left at 2:40. I've never disliked someone so much that I would spend money to buy a flag that has a picture of their face so that I could put it on my expensive boat to parade around
that 2:50 tho lol female be smoking that za
6:20 are they police or pirates
I see the same here in Trinidad. Loads of wealthy folks buying boats and endangering everyone around them🤷♂️
Would love to dive this area, find everyones go pro and phones lol
lets go....Im thinking the exact same thing..The only reason id go there other than diving it that looks miserable.
