Remember this was pre in-ear monitors, pre Joshua Tree, Larry had to wear headphones to hear the sequencer, Adam was still using foot pedals to fill his bass sound,Larry hit those cymbals when ever he could and every version of Bad was different. Love to Phil Lynott, I remember the night you died, I cried.
A message of joy and peace, a proclamation of much higher things to a world whose inter devinity and lamp shines bright to bring hope to the hopeless comfort to the informed.
Unforgettable Fire is my favourite album of all time... but they never captured the power of any of those songs live. Pride and Bad always sound weak live. I say this as someone who was a massive fan from 82 until they lost their way after Achtung Baby. Man, watching this makes me feel so damn old...
You wanna know the Rock n Roll way in (not out), Write U2 and just maybe U2 sings a song. 13 (there is a light) hey my sister lost her loved one tragically (horse accident) I asked U2 to give light to my sister to keep head up high !!!
Estou tão feliz ouvindo o nosso querido Bono e sua maravilhosa banda..Um dia eu vou ter tempo p ficar pelo menos uma tarde inteira ouvindo o Bono .Haja serviço nesta casa.Obrigada RUclips e a vcs que me mandam estes lindos vidios do Bono.Um ano de 2020 cheio de muita paz alegria e presença de DEUS
this entire band was never more bad-ass before or after this era. post unforgettable fire, pre-joshua tree. best time ever to be a true authentic U2 fan, before everything went out of control, with and without the band's own enabling.
i was at self aid ,they did bad better than live aid ,in my opinion ,it was an amazing day you could bring your drink ,oh and the boomtown rats rocked at it ,in fact all the bands gave it there all ,after all it was a send off to the phil ,garry moore stepped in to sing with thinlizzy ,in all one of the best gigs ireland ever had thanks for uploading brought back many a good moment in my head
ALL HAIL THE MAGNIFICENT U2 💚🤍🧡 TIMELESS MASTERPIECE A BEAUTIFUL POETIC SONG ABOUT THE LOSS AND PAIN OF SAYING A FAREWELL SLAIN'TE TO THOSE WHO STRUGGLED WITH LIFE EVERYDODY CONNECTS WITH THIS SONG 🤍 AND ALL ALONG THE BAND KEPT THE MUSIC GROUNDED AND SOLID BEST U2 SONG EVER FROM DUBH LINN ✌
I have an uncertain memory of listening to this gig on a transistor radio in Watford, as it faded in and out. Is that possible? Were RTE broadcasting on long wave at the time? Was medium wave able to reach that far after dark? I know we used to listen to Radio Luxembourg in Dublin on 208, so I guess it probably was..?
No sabía de la existencia de ésta banda, me enteré con la muerte de mi hija porque a ella le gustaba mucho el tema contigo o sin ti . Ahora me la paso escuchando todos estos éxitos que nunca había escuchado y recuerdo mucho a mi hija.
This version of Bad is okay. Lots of better versions though...Zoo TV Washington DC or Dortmund Germany 83 I think. Bono's vocals r crazy on that 1...Live Aid is a lot better as well.

The greatest song of all time
Spot on my friend , my wife knows i want this played at funeral
trance music
it dances
balancing
melody, tone & rhythm
with the silent places
underneath & between
every living thing
on the edge
of the abyss
This was the song that made me fall in love with music!!!

Absolutely incredible vocals.
Oh that I had a time machine! To go back to this year/era,I would give a fortune..if I had a fortune.
Thanks for posting. It's my favorite performance of this song, which is my favorite U2 song of all.
I ❤️ this one too

Pra mim é a melhor performance de BAD e a melhor música do U2.

Saw them in New Jersey 1985. One of my favorite concerts of all time.
I think I was there too. Brendan Byrne?
@@jeffgora yes
I see what you did there.😁
TBH I can’t disagree with your comment, but I was a very impressionable young boy growing up, so BOY, OCTOBER & WAR gave me food for thought .
You will “Let it go” after a concert with the band U2 !!! TopJimmy

His Ego Has Become bigger and More important than the band he sings with
Accordi irripetibili.
Ну не надоело петь о том о чем не знаете и не понимаете
