Some people, even if they were going to fit those door panels, would just drill a hole for the window roller, but you actually did power windows. I can't even tell you how cool that is!

Here's an idea for the door lock to work off the Lexus panel.
Think about how the electric door locks work on the 80's+ Ford vehicles. They use a small servo thats riveted below the latch. Incorporate that along with a toggle switch behind the Lexus button.

I enjoy watching you solve problems that I'll never have to deal with. It makes my car problems pale in comparison. It's very stress relieving for me.

Love it. My first project car was a 60 falcon station wagon!

Love this project. I have fond memories of the family Falcon wagon in the early sixties. Combining a 60s vintage econo-beater with a Lexus is a great idea.

This is amazing. I never thought about the possibility of just cutting a door's inside metal skin and just cutting and welding it into the project to carry over the mechanisms. You did a great job lining up the interior panels and patching it up as well. Don't blame you on avoiding the electric/mechanical door locks. You could easily stick with the mechanical post door locks of the falcon and then installing universal door lock actuators ran to switches instead if you eventually want power locks. Absolutely brilliant work.

Definitely much less work on the Driver's side, having done the passenger first. ( Trial and error) Great job, you make it look like most could do this as well by following your lead!

That is impressive door work! However, the beauty of the Falcon is the dash and how it flows into the doors...so yeah now that feature is gone, and the rest of the falcon isn't anything interesting.
