Loved every bit of it. This is what a family show should be like.
Oh my goodness! This was a great series. I thoroughly enjoyed it all. Loretta Young was a great actress. And all the co-stars were wonderful. Thank goodness for shows like these and thank you for posting them.
This show was terrific....great cast, acting, stories, and lessons! For a couple of days it was nice to watch a wonderful family coping with life's ups and downs with humor and grace. Love, love, loved it.
I have always loved Loretta Young, and her t.v. show.
What a pity this is the last episode, they could have conntinued forever! Thanks for sharing...guess I'm on cold turkey now. ;-)
Loretta is addictive. 🙏❤️
I remember watching this back in the '60s in the afternoon when I was home sick from school. I always thought that Loretta was the most beautiful woman and the nicest. Still do. Thank you for having these on RUclips.
Thank you!

Adorable kids. Especially little Marie.🌹🌺🌸🌷💖💖
I would love to know who plays Maria, and what she is doing now.
Ohhhh - is this the LAST Episode??? Why??? They should have continued for ever :)
Because the ratings were tepid, opposite ABC's "BEN CASEY", on Mondays at 10pm(et). Lever Brothers and The Toni Company, Loretta's co-sponsors, decided to "cut their losses", and end their sponsorship. Loretta decided to "cut her losses" as well. She never starred in another TV series.
@@fromthesidelines Fellow 1950s TV icon Lucille Ball succeeded in her " comeback " where as Ms Young did not . In the days of three networks if you did not "win" the time slot ratings you were in trouble , very few three way ties . Goodbye for while Ms. Young !
The difference was that Lucy had her studio behind her- "Desilu"- and that her "comeback" series, "THE LUCY SHOW", had been in development for quite a while, *and* CBS was ready to welcome her back in the fall of 1962 {even though CBS president James T. Aubrey loathed her; he once snarled at her during neogiations for another season, "I'm not here to pump sunshine up your tush!"....and she felt the same way about him}. And consider the fact that Loretta's original series was in repeats on NBC's daytiime schedule- who wanted to see her new program when you could see the cream of eight seasons every weekday?
@@fromthesidelines Yes I remember her 1950s show being rerun in the early 1960s daytime . but our old friend James Aubrey must have given the green light to Ms Youngs return on CBS monday nights after Ms Ball , Danny Thomas and Andy Griffith .
Sure, he did. I don't think he had great affection for her, either.
I like.iy
I like,it
Oh no. That hat she is wearing has to go. She just should have had her hair beautifully styled by a hairdresser.
It kind of looks like lettuce lol
I meant the hat she wore for her Wedding has to go.
I think Ms Youngs new show shown here was too much like her former NBC show with the opening , the closing and her clothes and entrances . The only thing that is different was she was playing a same character week after week .
