    You didn’t need to cut out the corners before adding in the cylinder shapes. Just align the cylinder in the corner and group. Job done.

    Nice tutorial, easy to understand. One thing that made me cringe though (as a graphic design teacher myself) is that you resized the mask without holding the shift key which distorted it. It's best to resize in proportion (all sides resize at the same time).Hope your students enjoyed this.

      David Damico 4:32 he mentioned holding shift. I think he does it later just so it takes up the more of the space and to show how, just a guess though. I do appreciate your reminder on holding shift though.
