Lurgs, I've just installed a new pop up sink plug in my bathroom sink but it was leaking afterwards, so I took it back out, cleaned the parts (sticky mess) and reinstalled it (using Plumber's Gold) but as I was tightening the brass holding screw nut under the sink, the top part of the plug moves around. Any tips how to stop it spinning to fully tighten the nut, please? Great videos btw.
Hi I have had a plumber put me some new taps on while he was here the pipe was leaking he told me it just because his taken the old ones off and puting the new ones in he told me it's all done I checked the water the pressure is so low I have been left with leakey copper pipes it is leaking from 2 places the front aswell as the back
Do yourself a favour replace those hoses with a piece of flexible pipe going to each tap there’s trouble ahead,the hoses are crap in time they will rot and the rubber become porous change them and don’t end up with a lake there’s usually a lot of strain on them because they have no body.

Just have to try to get a good grip on it. It shouldn't leak though as even hand tight should be enough.

Get the plumber back asap and in the meantime collect the water in a pot to stop it damaging your floor
