How to fix a leak under your sink.

- Have you ever noticed water under your kitchen or bathroom sink? There are a few places that can cause water to leak and drip. It will either be the pipes bringing water in or the pipes taking water away.
I'll show you places that can leak and how to replace a sink faucet hose.
This is a typical faucet hose that may fit your application.

The trailer I live in doesn't have turn off valves under my bathroom sink I have to turn my main water
What if they water is not leaking from the pipe?
Drainpipe or hose? Most common failure would be a rubber O-ring where the hose attaches to the valve or faucet
I’ve got a basic kitchen sink faucet with in e handle attached to the faucet and now I’m getting water under the sink from time to time and I see wetness at the part coming down through the hole, the part the hoses go into, is wet, how do I figure out the source of the leak if I never see it drip? Could it be water splashed above in the faucet flange area is leaking through the seals and down, or would water inside the handle be leaking down? Or something else? Again, I see the area under the sink the hoses go up into the faucet is wet. When I run water I don’t see it getting any wetter though.
@wstt4 I would try pouring water around the area where the faucet and sink meet and see if it starts to drip under the sink. Hard to know where the faucet might be leaking without seeing it. You could remove the handle and check if there are any signs of leaking around the valve inside the faucet. There should be a set screw holding the handle on.
Ive got a double sink in bathroom at different ends of counter. Both seem to be leaking from faucet when you run the water. Seems strange that each one leaks when you one each one. But don't leak everytime. Any ideas ? And how do you find out what faucet brand is it?
Usually the brand is imprinted on the faucet somewhere, mine has them in the front as well as the kitchen faucet. Concerning the leak, maybe the wrong type of hose was used, since they are both leaking. Unless there drains are connected together and leaking from there. A bright flashlight can be useful to help find leaks.
@BruBuilds I found the brand and I believe I fixed leak by tightening down the screws under the knob

@lavondabeckrow2206 Could be a couple of different things. Check the hose connection at the faucets, the drain pipe going into the wall and the drain stop mechanism. Water could be dripping on something first then dripping to the floor.
I think mine is coming from the drain line
You can take apart and clean the P-trap and then put it back together and that might fix a leak. Also check that the rubber washers are still good when you have it apart. It also might be leaking where the pipe connects to the sink. Could be loose or again a bad washer.

this is not good. Does no trouble-shooting. Just assumes pipe is bad. Should be asking questions like, does water only leak when faucet is on or also when it is off. If it only leaks when on, then obviously, replacing the pipe will do nothing but give you practice replacing a pipe and cost you time and money.
Where's the plumber's tape?
I didn't use any fittings that require silicone tape. The hoses have rubber washers in them.

I can see where it is leaking from but it feels tight.
Might be a bad washer or the valve itself is leaking, best to replace the valve.

wow thanks for answering me I looked underneath and it's where there is no white tape but I can't seem to loosen the fitting.. to take apart. I just took a shot but I can't see how I can insert
