    Much more descriptive than the other few videos I watched as far as what position they should be in and I like the higher position better. Thanks!

    Omg!! Thank you for this!! I was putting her inside the seat part with her feet curled. 😭 I knew that wasn’t right. After watching about 50 videos I found this one. Thank you so much!! I never wore my other kiddos so my last baby is the first.

      I’m so glad this helped! I hope you enjoy wearing your last baby. It lets you keep your hands free, and also hold them a little closer for a little longer ❤️

    Thank you, this is super helpful. I added this to my watch later so I can try out our carrier tonight. Babies 2 weeks and we have only been using our Lillebaby ring slings so far.

    Thank you, this is helpful. I tried the rolled blanket, I just couldn't do a good job and baby hated it and I was thinking about returning my lillebaby. I'm going to try again using your tips.

    How old is the baby in this video? I've been trying the newborn nfc with the Blender seat and the narrow seat a and have been failing at both have trouble getting my 1 month old to get her legs right so she is comfortable

      Melissa Baatz he was about that age. The blanket definitely has more room for error than narrow.
      Are you in the FB LILLEbaby Love group? I would love to help you get a good fit. ❤️

    Do you prefer narrow seat for a newborn to the receiving blanket method? I’ve been trying and failing at doing the wide seat with blanket technique. Feels like my baby’s legs do not move into position. Very frustrating trying to use this carrier. I’m going to have to try again with a narrow seat position.

    • @thediaperbagconfessions3182

      Becky U I definitely prefer narrow with legs out! There is just so much less room for error. No fumbling with blankets and positioning of both Baby and blanket. Just the carrier and the Baby.

    How long can you wear a newborn in the career? Do their necks start to hurt I know there is the head support but can I carry my 8 lb baby around for 4 or 5 hours say?

    • @thediaperbagconfessions3182
      @thediaperbagconfessions3182  7 лет назад +1

      Susan H Hello! I could definitely wear my baby for hours at a time and both of us were comfortable. Obviously, a newborn will need to eat and have a diaper intermittently, but as long as baby had a good position in the carrier and isn't showing any signs of discomfort you can wear for however long you need to.

    Do u wash your carrier in the washing machine and than hang dry?? And the black straps you hook together on the inside of the carrier underneath babies bum in the very beginning of the video..what straps are those? Thank you for your help☺️👍🏼

    • @thediaperbagconfessions3182
      @thediaperbagconfessions3182  6 лет назад

      tanya k Yes. Machine wash, cold water, gentle cycle, mild detergent - then air dry. (No machine drying)
      The flaps that are snapped together on the inside are what make the wide seat. They are snapped to the belt when it’s in the wide seat, or you can slide them off of the belt and snap them together on the inside to make the narrow seat 😊

    Im so confused. My son is almost 8 wks and 10lbs and IDK if I do narrow, wide, rolled blanket or not. He likes being froggy position. Dont wanna buy this and never use it 🤦🏽‍♀️

    • @thediaperbagconfessions3182
      @thediaperbagconfessions3182  3 года назад +2

      Try legs out. As long as baby is at least 7 pounds, you can go legs out from the very beginning! This will sort of mimic the same positioning of froggy (especially if you get the knees above the bum well) and without any of the possibility of pressure on little joints. It’s a worthwhile investment, because as baby grows (especially around 10-12 weeks) they will need and want to stretch their legs out for developmental reasons. So, a carrier that grows with baby is a good choice. ❤️
      Perhaps head to a Buy Buy Baby and see if you can try one before making the investment.

      @@thediaperbagconfessions3182 Should I do wide or narrow with legs out? I only have a target that sells ergo and no BBB near by and even then with COVID no testing stuff out 😔 I loved my wrap but i do not trust it anymore and I only use it to lounge on my couch to keep him close

    • @thediaperbagconfessions3182
      @thediaperbagconfessions3182  3 года назад

      @@iamherlis I would do narrow with legs out. There is less room for error. You don’t want the possibility of unneeded stress being put on their foot joints, and narrow with legs out allows them to still be in that deep M position without the risk of pressure on the joints.
      I totally didn’t think about Covid and try ons. Darn it. Maybe order from Amazon where there is a flexible return policy so you can try it and if it doesn’t work, you can return it. ❤️

      That is so ignorant, they are suppose to be in an ergonomic position (m position) it’s healthy for their hips. Learn some stuff before posting lady.

    • @annarose3037

      erm.old non or less ergonomic carrier probably have problems. nowadays so many babywraps and carriers are specifically designed to carry baby from the moment u give birth.0mths.newborns.many mums have done so with no issues :) use hand=1 hand. not hands free.some people need to travel alot.by bus.by train just to fo for hospital appointments etc.it helps loads of mummies to be handsfree esp. if there isnt any help around.otherwise u'll be doing almost nothing all day long because baby needs to be carried and for those who breastfeeds need to do so sometimes almost every hour/very frequent and long durations.they can bf in a carrier if they practice enough and knows how to do it safely. google brands like lillebaby.manduca.emeibaby. all are already designed for newborns.weight tested.ergonomic.safe and healthy for their back.way more safer in carrier than carrying by hand when using public transport imo.
