What did you mean about the 15 minute intervals? Thank you for the video.

The recommendation is typically to limit forward facing out to 15 minutes at a time to avoid overstimulation of baby. I always say parents know best and can judge that based on their child and their sensory needs but certainly something to consider. When they are facing in, they can look around but face parent when they become tired or feel overwhelmed.. difficult to do when facing forward. Also, never let baby fall asleep forward facing out, as it can restrict airway as it increases the risk of chin to chest.. so when baby is sleepy, turn them back towards you (parent facing)

@@hugandcuddleskerri2661 I just bought this exact same carrier. I’ve been having a hard time adjusting it to make my baby feel comfortable.. She will be 6 months on January 31st. What do you suggest I do when putting her in forward facing? The narrow way at the bottom like you showed? She’s a little chunky, I would say she has to be a good 20 pounds maybe a little more by now. ( we will know exactly @6 month check up ) but I’m asking because I don’t want her to feel uncomfortable in the wide setting since her legs are more on the chunky side.. but I want to do what’s safer for her at the same time!
