I gotta admit, I wasn't sure how good this was gonna turn out when I first started watching, but this has turned out awesome. I hadn't even thought about bodywork for it, but it looks so much cooler now. More menacing too
It was kinda stressful actually trying to get it to look right but I like it , looks really cool in person and be even better once painted, thanks for the comment Bruce
For the rattling, just put on a layer of foam tape down before you bolt the panels on. Its looking real good, cant wait to see what the finished trike looks like.
All it would take is an electric motor, a switch, and a little tinkering to install an electric reverse. Then you can add a floor plan. I agree that rubber bushings between the skin pieces and the frame would do wonders for the noise of the skin rattling. And later if you want you can replace all the aluminum skin pieces with fiberglass or carbon fiber composite panels. Over all it's looking great. I like the big tire on the back.
Maybe you should get a paddle tire and see if it will go through any sand. Or maybe something with some tread for off road. Sweet build though brotha. I love it..
@@DktheWelder I think that between panels and just rubber washers where it bolts to the frame. I also think you should add some more bracing on the frame. The panels do help with rigidity, but not to the extent that proper bracing would. It looks like that cage will crumple if you roll it. The roof doesn't look that attached, either. This thing should be wicked fast, and the roof looks like it'll blow open or even off. I love the build, though! I just discovered it today and have been binging your channel for a while
@@OriginalCheesemoose the roll cage is almost over built I know it looks big but it is still the weight of a small gokart , my boss builds dirt track cars (1000 hp v8s) and I got his input on it he thinks it’s ok. The rear of it is flimsy though lol. Thanks for your comment, I think the rubber washers will work for the panels
@@DktheWelder it is a very cool product, it ads mass to a sheet of metal to minimize vibrations which create some of the rattle sound. I have use it a few times in vans and trucks and it works very well to reduce the "tin can" sound.
I think it needs a tail or something in the back because it seems a bit empty and for the rattling some rubber bushing would help ( or at least making it not hard mounted)
Genius I'm watching thinking the sheet metal needs a flat black paint job to finish off the Bat Bike theme!!(= Haha great minds think alike brotha keep it coming man AMAZING BUILD!!😁✊🔥
@@DktheWelder Cool, I figured you had something figured out. Coffee cans work well because they have enough ass to fight the wind! I like the build though, I would create my own logo instead of using the Batman.

Daniel, do you follow Ron Covell's channel? He is the man when it comes to sheet metal work. ruclips.net/user/covellronvideos I was going to say that I discovered Ron from This Old Tony's channel, and then you did that classic TOT trick of sneaking in the Subscribe message on the welding helmet. Colin Furze does that as well come to think of it. The trick is looking downright scary. Mad Max meets Tesla Cyber Truck. A trick we used at Ford to reduce or prevent panels squeaking was shake proof/star washers under the screw or bolt head. Some sort of stick on sound deadening material would damp the panel noise, but the proper stuff is expensive.
I have watched that Ron Covell and he is really good . These panels are going to get bent and dented no doubt so don’t want to make the overly complicated. The washer idea could work thanks for that , the panel noise is annoying!
@@denniseliezer7115 the rear swing arm works well and had to be strong to handle that huge wheel. Looks ugly though you think? Maybe I could make a cosmetic panel for it?
@@DktheWelder thats what i mean, it aesthetically can be improved. that also would be great if you put reverse gearbox also. chek this ruclips.net/video/-qdfRJLCPn8/видео.html
@@denniseliezer7115 I watched that video thanks pretty cool but since the motor I’m using makes 12 times the power it would break quickly. I could maybe put an electric reverse on the swing arm and try make it look nicer too
The kiwi twist on the build makes this way more enjoyable to watch. Jandles, home made bender, 4×2 as a hammer..... Subscribed, Chiirrrr.
Haha I know right! Gotta show the rest of the world how it’s done backyard NZ style
Rooster tail is looking sick with the body panels
thanks!

Thanks! Would like to try a more grippy tyre if I can find one
You should use weather stripping everywhere the body panels meet metal to reduce the rattling noise.
good idea thanks!
Or you just could weld the sheets..just saying.
@@FBPrepping the sheets are aluminum and the frame is steel so no weldy , I could weld the sheets to each other but I think they would still rattle
Some rubber mounts between the skin and bars might help with vibration noises
i was thinking of putting silicone on the panel where it touches let it dry then bolt it back up do you think this would work?

Cyber trike as a name suits this build more

Toyota needs to add you to their team, you guys could collaborate on a “land cruiser” version and sell them like hot cakes
I don't think this thing is very practical for a big company , a land cruiser version would be cool though
You just need some rubber bushings between the panels and the frame and you can use kilmat on the pannels to stop the vibrations

yeah maybe rubber between might help. Your right the back does look a little empty I will think about it
Make a cowl for the section on top of the motor, to bring in some air n for looks
