    A tip from Clean My Space. She puts a microfiber cloth on the end of her pole with a hair tie. Then you can use it for the skirting boards etc. Great for people with mobility problems. You could add it to the other end of your duster. Great tool!

    Thank you for the information about the Home blessing hour! I have always thought it meant that you had to get each of the items done throughout the entire house. Knowing that it’s to just focus on the high traffic areas is incredibly helpful and encouraging!

    Good morning. Love how the cabinet space is all low. I'm 5ft. Would love that. Is that a common setup in Denmark. ? And again.. Almost 20 years ago when I found flylady.. If I saw you doing the windows like that .I would be all obsessive asking don't you need to.go certain direction. Use sqeegee..toothbrush corners..specific cleaner... Even tho they may only get cleaned every 2 years!!!- I was definitely. ALL OR NOTHING. LOL. If I spent as much time cleaning as I did thinking and planning my house would have looked like a museum. Lol. But instead it was opposite never getting anything done because over thinking on how to do each task perfectly. You have NO idea how much you have helped me. In many ways . Have a great week.!

      Yay! You are so right about the perfectionism thing...if only we would just DO something instead of finding ways to find fault with the method! LOL!

    I'm always surprised by how many people think that the Weekly Home Blessing is supposed to be a thorough cleaning of the whole house! I've seen comments such as, "How can you get it all done in just an hour?" Flylady makes it quite clear that the WHB is just a quick spruce-up, with allotting only about 10 minutes to each of the tasks. Ten minutes per task, ladies, then you stop even if you aren't "done"! You don't even have to do the WHB all in one day; instead, you can divide the WHB into one task per day through the week.

    If I dont dust my bedroom during weekly home blessing - it will only get dusted once a month following the Fly lady system,during the zone cleaning, so I do do it as part of my weekly home blessing as I wanyt it done more than once a month and I take over an hour and fifteen to do home blessing - thing is just adapt it to your needs, as you say Diane.

      There should be instructions on the packet? I usually dissolve one large tablespoon in a jug of cold water. Then run it through the machine. Then run another couple of times, with plain water.

      It seems to me (at least in my personal experience) that it 's due to the FLYing and not on whether Diane has cabinets or drawers. I have both, but if I don't keep up with my routines, and missions, chaos ensues no matter what. I bet that if Diane had cabinets instead she would have made them work just as well due to her attitude and the basic principles of Flylady.

    Hi Diane! Could you settle a few questions for me? I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the tasks meant to be accomplished, especially today. What should happen each day? For example: daily routines, home blessing, zone cleaning and missions just today. Tomorrow is routines, more zone cleaning, more mission, and planning/playing. Wednesday is routines, more zone and anti procrastination. Am I correct? I need a spreadsheet!😂
    Is each task meant to be 15 minutes (other than the WHBH)?
    Thank you!

      Hi Judy! I did a Flylady Refresher Course a few weeks ago (here's the link for you ruclips.net/p/PLxIYCyTLBED-1vdMwaAhm7Z_3Br__gals ). Take things one step at a time and only add in more when you feel ready for it! Morning and Evening routine first. Then the WHB. Then when you are ready, the Daily Focus and perhaps some zone work.

    • @DianeinDenmark
      @DianeinDenmark  5 лет назад +1

      Some people do have high up cupboards. But, generally speaking, in Scandinavia we like to keep things light, airy and minimalist, so you won't see "crowded" living spaces.

    Good morning Diane! I'm 33 weeks pregnant and have so many organization and decluttering projects to do before baby arrives. I'm home with a 2 and 3 year old as well (hubby works a lot)and they keep me plenty busy. I'm having a hard time getting these things done not only due to the things mentioned but I'm also the kind of person that thinks if I only do a little bit nothing will get done and I require a big chunk of time without distractions, especially because any small progress I have made seems to undo itself after a short while. Then I just end up getting overwhelmed or busy with my daily routines and end up doing nothing. Do you have any advice that may help?

    • @dee4174
      @dee4174 5 лет назад +3

      Look at Diane 's flylady baby steps. It really does work. I have health problems and was much like you; thinking I needed huge chunks of tome and energy. Not true! Morning and evening routines and 15 minutes in a zone and my house is surfacing from under the clutter. Remember that dust will always be there, but your children will not be little for long! Enjoy them and good luck with your new baby. Xxx

    • @strll3048
      @strll3048 5 лет назад +1

      I second that... been there and I know it's true. I really don't know what I would have done without the evening and morning routines. Please keep up with basic routines and the 31 babysteps and you will see a huge difference. Diane has an excellent video series called 31 babysteps which I am often watching because it really helps.

    • @DianeinDenmark
      @DianeinDenmark  5 лет назад +3

      Hello again, Saphire! I did a Flylady Refresher Course a few weeks back (I'm giving you the link here). Remember that, especially with small kids, you DO NOT HAVE LARGE CHUNKS OF TIME! LOL! So doing a bit here and there, and following your Routines is the only way forward. Good luck and hugs! ruclips.net/p/PLxIYCyTLBED-1vdMwaAhm7Z_3Br__gals

    Good morning Diane! I am so looking forward to watching your video after my children wake up. I am about to start making my Control Journal and wonder if you would mind if I add one of your quotes from an old video: "I stick to my routines like glue." This and a few of our amazing Marla, The Flylady would be a great help.

    Hi Diane, I'm surprised you can keep linens in a drawer under the oven. I'm wondering if it gets hot in that drawer when you are roasting or baking? I also love your kitchen cabinets and I'm wondering are they easy to wipe down? I'm thinking of getting new cabinets myself but don't want any that are hard to keep clean :-) Thanks in advance for your replies.

    • @DianeinDenmark
