MF Anal That’s what body positivity originally was. It was to show acceptance of your body over things you can’t control, such as loose skin, stretch marks, your height, etc... not promote an unhealthy lifestyle.
@@brentrichards1200 watch youtube dr berg video where he shows a standing up leaning back exercise instead of sit ups that tightens the belly thus the skin. There is also a yoga exercise, called a belly breath, five days so far.
3:57 Starvation makes your body to feast on excessive tissues. First is muscle mass because for human specie default muscle mass is almost 0, we use brains, but second will be excessive skin. Starvation when you healthy and have no macronutrients deficiency before going into starving really helps to tighten skin on face and body making it like 5 years younger so it should help with excessive skin situation.
i am 350+ and only 17 i have a problem and i am going to fix it and i will try very hard. my dream is to become fit enough to become a police officer and to anyone that may be reading this and has the same problem i do i hope you fix it as well god speed and love you :)
Hello, I'm 38 and 326 pounds... Listen, if you're going to do, do it now because it gets harder if you wait, take this advice from me because this is what I've finally figured out.... Forget everything, dump anything that takes time away from you waking up and working on your health.... If you have to just disconnect from toxic friends and family, if they truly love you they'll not only understand but they'll help you out....... Never give up, hit it hard
Thank you for putting these words together and taking the first real step. accepting a problem, is something that so many adults struggle with, I commend you for your maturity. I was 265 now 150, i only started to make progress after truly educating myself, not what things you have to do to get healthy, but why you have to do those things. Understand yourself and become a master of your body before anything else. I guess I just wish someone told me that when I was 17. And I have loose skin, it’s a great problem to have. It’s a trophy. DM for more encouragement whenever you need my dude.
This is the realest talk about fitness and someone being self conscious about their body even after getting fit. Mad respect to you for being brave man.
Some people are wondering "Why does it look like in pictures that you DO NOT have loose skin?" As I said in the video, this is the first time I have ever shown my loose skin. In pictures, I never pulled my shorts as low down as I did in this video. In pictures the loose skin is sitting under my shorts. Furthermore, in the future, I don't plan on pulling my shorts this low all the time. This video was made so that when people ask in the future, " How do you not have loose skin." I have somewhere they can be sent to have that question answered! ^_^ I cannot thank everyone enough for the incredible support you all have shown! Thank you all so much!
+cod1LegendaryMLG Yeah but the surgery is ridiculously expensive & incredibly painful... Pretty sure it's like a 6 week recovery period & during that time you can't go to the gym or do anything strenuous. Most people don't want to go through all the pain & give up 6 weeks of working out and/or just simply do not have the money for the surgery bc it is very expensive.
i got problems to... with skin i am keep bulking to get tense skin. Same stomach issue like u i have but lower stomach issue. i was skinier but i had more stretched skin. Now i am doing more abs to make bigger abs and to tense skin
***** skin after 35 years of age stop to going back to same position .. it stays same. So after is operation. If we can not go to operation HGH will help to fix the stretches and to tighten.skin.
That's just making yourself feel better. I'm not being negative but if you didn't eat so much to become a fat fuck in the first place you wouldn't have any loose skin. You guys praise people that lost that ammount of weight, but what about people who don't let themselves go in the first place to become obese. In my opinion it's not a trophy. And if god forbid i ever got that fat or had loose skin i would try and find a way to remove that. Don't give me that feminist praising crap on stuff that shouldn't be praised. And oh, let the hate come. I expect it.
Your vulnerability, self love and living your best life is giving other permission to do the same. You’re an inspiration in every way. Thank you for making this video 💙
You know what this makes me think about? The simpsons episode where homer bound all his fat on his back with elastics to look ripped. So, yeah. SINPSONS DID IT
A lot of comments are "can't you just get surgery?" Or "just get surgery.. problem solved..." However that's not the point of this video. I never said I need nor want surgery. I didn't think I had to mention it in the video, because the "fix" is accepting it, and knowing your are healthier with it instead of being obese. Of course it can be removed... but that is also extremely expensive, something insurance does not cover. It also comes with the risk of complications, and having to do multiple surgeries, leading to months of downtime.
The surgery is indeed extremely expensive, I'm also worried about the complications and about pain. But I think it's worth the money, risk and the pain than too live my entire life with the skin...
getting surgery is not always good. There can be complications. You could die during surgery because of the weight. Plus, even if the surgery is successful and you lose weight you might still gain all the weight back.
@@xTwilightWolvesx i Personally would not count gluttony as intentional self harm reason is because the weight gain is unwanted side effect that does not immediately. me personally i have a very hard time thinking someone would want to harm themselves would pick up a cheeseburger as a form of self harm.
Soul Esoteric V Think of it this way: people cut themselves because it distracts them from their mental pain momentarily. Obese people overeat because it distracts them from their mental pain momentarily. That’s why I see it as a form of self harm: it’s both harmful and a distraction from reality. There’s also people out there who intentionally make themselves obese to either: a) die early or b) make them appear as undesirable as they feel.
My ex had loose skin after he lost over 100 pounds. I never saw it as anything other than his hard work and determination. A good person doesn’t see loose skin, they see the person they love doing better for themselves. I’m very proud of you for making this video! 😁
I only found out that my husband has lots of loose skin and stretch marks after we got married. He lost a lot of weight like you do and build muscle as well before we even met, but I never find it disgusting or hideous or etc. In fact, I am so proud of every single marks that he has and never want to change a thing. Loose skin and stretch marks are the proof that he has changed his life for the better. With that determination and strong willpower, I know that I married a right man.
That's why before you get married you got to "kick the tires" first. If you don't know who you are marrying your relationship will have trouble, I found that out myself.
Jack Mae just cut back your amount of food. Eat less in every meal than you do now, DEFINITELY count your calories. My limit was 1800 cals a day. You can find out your ideal calorie limit online, then keep your diet under control.
I have a turkish family so we basically eat different food everyday and none of them are known ingredients so its so hard for me to see how many calories i eat. But i will see a dietist this friday
as a girl ..i i can tell u , if she is a woman of substance , she will admire and love u ...just love ur self and be well. it took guts to show us. well done. health first!!
There seems to be so few people ... not just women who have the depth of character to see things the way you do. I hope you have lots of friends who share your sentiment.
Tbh. I have lose skin. One of the major things of being overweight is that you’ll wonder if someone will accept your body. When you lose the weight, and you get lose skin, another problem comes along but with the same question, who will accept my body. But as a human, not just because i lost weight, i don’t find lose skin unattractive. If my partner had it.. i would feel so special that they have something different. It shows me how much work you did and it’s not a turn off at all. I wouldn’t even tell the person to get surgery. All that hard work really shows and i can only hope how i would accept someone else with it, that i will be accepted for it too. If i exist, other do too ❤️❤️
You understand because you have loose skin, but women that never got fat and have decent genetics, literally say disgusting stuff abouit it. If they find it disgusting thats up to them, but they could keep it to themshelves.
You and ObesetoBeast have changed my life and I would like to thank you for that. Every now and then I still tear up reminiscing my journey but you guys were there to brighten up my days. I respect you to the point where I can't even explain. Thank you.
As a Mom who had two huge babies, i agonize over my loose skin. Thank you for your courage and for modeling self acceptance. You are an inspiration. ❤️
Both of mine were between 9 and 10 lbs, and I gained a lot of weight with both. My loose skin did improve over time though - never what people may consider "perfect", but improved for sure.
Lynn Sherwood - I agree with the acceptance part because most of us have it. There are ways to help it though because your skin cells turn over every 30 days. I researched it and wrote a short ebook on it and basically it’s about daily self-massage and taking gelatin, which helps the connective tissue in the skin form properly. You can read more in my book, just google Loose Skin The Answer by Slimbirdy.
One, and got the classic apron at 7mo. I was 200 lbs after my son was born- now I'm 110, fit still & struggling with it after 7 years. I so appreciate posts like these from people like you and him - it's really comforting knowing I'm not alone in having loose skin.
I think we can all take inspiration for this one from women. You bear children and you end up with scars on your body but you still love yourself. So we can do it too.
Dude thats a real comment like for real imagine if you have loose skin that just makes you a real fighter and people will know from where you came from
I'm 5'5" and I used to weigh 330lbs. I'm down to 281 now and I know I'm going to have loose skin, but that's not going to stop me from losing weight. I'm gonna do it to be healthier, to feel better, to be happier! : D Thanks for inspiring me, man!
Just dont do it fast, lose fat slow. Lose 6-8 punds per month. 2nd hidrate yourself a lot. 3rd use pregnant woman creames for skin and hidratation. There are a lot of people lost hudge mass and dont have loose skin, but they done the weight loss for 2-3 years.
Bellamy Maxwell, good on you for the weight loss! There are ways to help the loose skin though because your skin cells turn over every 30 days. One of the most courageous videos I have ever seen. It's a badge of honor. It's a reminder of where you came from and probably don't ever want to go back to. It's encouraging knowing that it was worth it no matter what. Thanks for showing this, for letting yourself be vulnerable.
Hey Ben, I been following you for years. I finally dropped 100+ lbs over a 5 year battle. I fallen off the diet wagon a few times and gotten back on. But never gain the weight back. When I started I was 350lbs and now I'm down to 202lbs today and want to get my end goal of 180lbs. Thank you for inspiring me and hundreds of others to do this journey. And yes I'm starting to have lose skin as well.
Congratulations! I'm starting my healthier journey now at 50. My highest was 370 and when I started purposely being healthier I was at 358. Today I hit 323 and I just know in my core that I'll make to below 200. Anyway thanks for your story man. You've inspired me. The best to you in and your future!
A loose skin is way better than loosing your health, friends i lost 70pounds and i feel for u but you will feel way better than what you are now and best of luck
Mate Im from Albania and here to lose the loose skin we are used to wash or swim alot in cold water.Maybe it can work im in the way to get fit and ill see it my self Try it
Abdizamad Mohamoud I think what he/she meant is he doesn't want to remember the horrible event of his former self which is fat, like the moments that he get bullied and made fun of so yeah we don't wanna remember that.
I got to know my husband when he looked healthy and of course after some time you see each other without clothes and so I also saw his loose skin but that never stopped me from loving him!
Augustus Sinclair: But that depends on you. It can be like that for everyone, they just need to stop being so shallow. If you only see the person and you can't love them because of something you see than that is your problem. And problems can be solved! So it is not that hard! 😅
Natalie, you’re a quality person! It’s unfortunate that there aren’t more people with your mindset. I’m currently in the middle of my own weight loss/body transformation journey, and I’ll admit, I’m afraid of having loose skin. It’s good to know that there are decent people like you out there, who can and DO look past someone’s battle scars and see the beauty of who they truly are.
Jake Of course, that should never stop you from pursuing your dream! This battel is something you do for yourself and not for others and if they can't handle that well thats on them but there will be always someone who sees behind all that. Who sees you for what you truly are!
Women can have children, their body changes, loose skin, stretch marks. I love hers and she can love mine. Everyone has some part of themselves, be it physical or emotional that they find ugly. Most aren't, they just aren't. So be the best you can be and enjoy each other for the beauty that exists in all people. Also yes, Natalie is beautiful and her husband is very lucky.
So encouraging, I’m currently in my battle to weight loss, been at my heaviest at 280 and have been at it for a month... I’m at 260 now. I can’t wait for this, not gonna lie this concerns me, but this also encourages me to continue to battle and fight my urges and be disciplined with working out, and I will wear this like a badge of honor.
I'm really glad for this video. It really hit me hard. My highest weight I was at 500 pounds. I'm 6'4. I'm currently down to about 421 (which is honestly surreal as all hell) but I am 99.99% sure I'm going to have a massive amount of loose skin. Thank you for this video.
Hey keep going do your best. I was watching a video by Natalie Jill Fitness who had a guy by the name Jason Rosell on the video and he said the best thing to do to minimize loose skin is to lift weights so the muscles can fill out the skin. Watch the video it should help.
you can limit it you just need to talk to your doctor about loose skin and how to prevent it, you dont have to lose weight that quickly and if you choose to anyway and go on a crash diet yes you'll have a lot of loose skin if you choose to do that you dont have to do cardio, but you should and i will tell you it a thousand times if necessary eat enough proteïn since if you lose that weight you will have a lot of muscle mass if you eat enough proteïn since your muscle's had to adapt strength according to the weight you were which means you build muscle withouth doing anything and you should definetly try to keep as much of that as you can.
I've lost 100 lbs , I feel u dude, I respect you , I work out every day to look the best I can , I have nobody I do it for me . Just being able to put jeans on that fit and aren't falling down or my ass hanging out , that's all I need . Oh , I weighted 323 now I weight 220 . Respect
@@Ed206Ed I eat once a day around dinner time , I eat whatever I want , I Just don't over eat And I eat smart , I don't eat pizza and cereal every night lol. I like salads with grilled chicken or whole White albacore tuna, chicken is my go to meat , I don't eat fried food period . I don't eat grease. you literally grabbed loose skin by the handful in camera frame...said the equivalent of this sucks but not as much as it used to...you've got some massive balls man, super inspiring. I'm making my own weight cut right now and this is crazy inspiring.
I would rather live with loose skin than be obese, I am on my journey to being healthier so I understand what you are trying to say! Congrats on loosing the weight I know it's not an easy journey to go down.
Dude, as an obese person you give me hope and I hope you know you are inspiring others. You are the man bro. Haters gonna hate but ignore that shit cos they are gonna hate anyway.
I needed to see this video, back in February I weighed 370 pounds and decided to finally get my life on track, today I weigh 300. by the end of the week I'll obtain my first major landmark of dropping below 300 and I am stoked! I would be lying if I said loose skin wasn't a fear of mine. I know when I start approaching a healthy BMI this loose skin will start to show. I'm losing weight at a healthy rate, I'm tal, and lifting weights and know these factors will help but the inevitability that it will be there makes me afraid. But then I think about how my life was when I weighed 370, and to that I say, bring it on. Getting winded climbing a small flight of stairs, wheezing for no reason, the early signs of sleep apnea and diabetes that only I miraculously avoided at that point, the fallen arches, the list goes for days, and I'll trade it for loose skin any day..
Swagger Jacker They did but it wasn't too bad. I took it easy at first and used bikes and elliptical machines for cardio, after the losing 50 or so I started using the stair-master and was able to run on the treadmill. At that point my legs were used to the strain from working out legs once a week and being used to being active.
I am not over weight but I do know somethings about nutrition. If you are still at it, remember, you are what you eat. Make sure you are talking the time to learn the types of foods the will help you. Heavy weights, good nutrition, sleep, and TIME. looking at it from the outside, I think it is still too fast to loose 100 pounds in less than a year. There is no way you will not end up with loose skin if you do not give yourself time. It probably took years for you to gain a 100 pounds. Put Aloe Vera in your water, eat a lot of water melons, and many other foods that will help you.
You made me cry. Thank you so much! I'm over 85KG so basically I'm obese .. tomorrow is my birthday and I decided that from tomorrow I'll start dieting and practicing sports. Thousands thanks because you are motivating me!!!
Imti Gr, never give up. I started my journey last April 1 and I lost 10 pounds already with proper diet and exercise with sports like basketball. do it for yourself not for anybody else. Good luck and lets do it.
85kg is not obese. Maybe if you are 150cm tall and all that weight is fat but I doubt that. Anyway if you are not happy with your weight and want to do something about it, go for it! Best of luck to you.
Your loose skin is a badge of honor! That is proof that you did it! Be proud because you succeeded and you now should know you can accomplish anything! You look amazing!
Thank you, bro. Truth be told, I have been overweight almost my whole life. I turned it around and lost 117lbs. I have loose skin and it was depressing until I saw your video. It's good for me to see otherswith the same stuff. Thank you, bro. You just earned a subscriber today.
When i was your age i was 210 pounds, i lost my extra weight and then went into the gym. Now im 160 and muscular. It took me a long time cause i did it chill but dont worry if u fail sometimes just dont give up and dont blame youself.
jether uguil I was 15 weighing 270lbs myself when I started the rough journey, I ended up losing 80lbs. I didn't have internet at the time so I took whatever old tips and ended running (suffering) 3 1/2 miles almost everyday for 6 months plus basic workouts because I had convinced my (big) friends to join football during winter training because I was fed up and wanted us to have change. 6 months later I ended becoming the fastest linemen on the team. faster than a lot of other skinny kids that their job was SUPPOSE to be faster than me and oh man they HATED it but oh man I LOVED it. I begged a lot of my friends to join. those that stayed ended up blown away from the results. I begged and still beg people every time for only 3- 6 months of hell results of years of glory (as long as you keep your weight down of course lol.) oh the stories that came with the weight loss man I can go for days. BUT my biggest regret was not starting sooner so PLEASE start now while you are young!
DelbertStinkfester YOU WILL AVOID LOOSE SKIN if you're losing the weight on a raw vegan diet along with rebounding exercises. Check out Liferegenerator's channel and look for the video with before and after pictures as the thumbnail.
i dont think being a raw vegan is gunna be that much different from being a vegan but i do agree it can be more healthy to do so but let them start by being vegan or even vegetarien
Man, all the dramas I've seen in my life haven't made me even shed a single tear, this made me cry a little. I need to get in shape, I always saw people on youtube and thought "oh, they've never been fat, how would they know what works for me." seeing someone who used to look close to what I do now, it feels more motivating. I'm gonna subscribe and watch your stuff. Thank you for sharing your experience.
I would never not date someone because of lose skin. If anything that would make me more attracted to them because it shows they fought for something and man that is a beautiful thing. I just want anyone with loose skin to know that. Don't ever sell yourself short
N. Fer. Ⓥ Agreed, if anyone is worried that someone is too vain to date you because of loose skin then they probably wouldn't date you for being fat either. In the end it's better to see these vain people for their true colors and live on with a healthier you.
What's dating got to do with anything? Why are people so hung up about dating and relationships 24/7. You should lose weight and go to the gym for yourself.
Brother, you are inspirational! Your skin renews every three months. You keep eating healthy fats and low carbs/sugar and your skin will tighten up. It may never be perfect but what a badge of accomplishment!!!
Not sure why this has shown up on my home page in 2019. However, I will give my 2 pence worth to the discussion. One thing I feel that it is important to understand is that exercise makes you feel happy; being pro-active about your life makes you feel happy (in most cases). The hardest part of exercise is not the actual exercise, it's the part where you're sitting on the sofa and you know you should do something but you don't seem to have the energy and your body is telling you that you're too tired. The trick is to tell your self 'I'm just going to do a quick warm-up then I'll see how I feel' then once you're warmed up, you feel less tired then you can say 'ok, I'll do one set/mile'. Little chunks at a time.
this is absolutely true. every morning when i wake up i think "idk i don't feel like exercising today, i'm tired" but then menage to get up and do some workouts and i realize that i wasn't tired, it's just a mental thing
Wow, bro! Congrats, thats good motivation for me to keep going. I started my weight loss journey this year at 333lbs and now I'm at 294lbs, roughly about 40lbs dropped. What worked for you?
I was at 320 last month rn i weight my self 2 days ago i was 290 and ive lost alot of fat around my chest and stumich ive been doing lots pf squads and walking to built up leg muscle and core strenght im also drinking nun but water and i am on keto diet when im not fasting
I watched this video when I was 145kg, a year later I am now 82kg, still coming to terms with the loose skin and it is still improving a bit on it's own but I know it will never be completely normal but I can say that I don't hate it anymore and I would take this skin over the extra weight any day. Great video man
bro try doing 2 or 3 days water fast every week and you wil lose your loose skin. Look for example at war prisoners in world war 2, they are al starved almost to death and nobody had loose skin. This is caused by autophagy and was discoverd by dr Jason Fung. He got a award for this sientific reasearch. Try it out!
Love how honest you are about how you changed your life and how real you've been about this whole process, I hated going to the gym because of how I felt walking the place and how I felt others were making me feel, but now I have seen that I'm not the only person to feel that way and I understand that the only intimidation I felt was from my self and that I was make so many beginner mistakes, not starting at the beginning, learning correct form and taking my time, staring off SLOW, anyway you're very inspiring, thank you. And one quick word to any PT reading this who has taking someone who hasn't got the first clue what they should be doing and advised them not to start off at to high of a level, causing failure, all I want to say to you folks is please watch this video series and keep in mind, it's not as easy for everyone as it might have felt for you, you're the professionals, please lead your clients right.
I doubt you'll read this bro, but you did an amazing job, seriously amazing. You're an inspiration to anyone who want's to be healthy. Loose skin or not, if you're happy and healthy then that's all that matters. Besides, just my opinion, but the loose skin pays tribute to what you've achieved. Keep up the good work man.
I recently lost over 100 lbs and the loose skin is the worst part of the whole thing - for me. I'm 50 years old now. My in-laws kept saying, 'oh it will snap back with exercise", and I would smile and nod and think, ' you have GOT to be kidding me'. There is NO WAY this will ever just "snap back". I'm not 25 anymore and I was WAY too big for my skin. My husband is proud of the change in me, I"m happy with the healthy feeling I have now and all the medications I was able to completely get off of. I was an insulin bound person and now I take absolutely NO diabetic medicine at all. No more Blood Pressure medicine. None. THAT, for me, is way more important than the loose skin that is easily hidden. KUDOS to you for having the courage to show people that part of you that we all wish we could change, and probably never will be able to. As an honest, older woman - NOT a cougar at all - I love my hubby dearly............but that skin is NOTHING - you're still a hottie, honey. :D
it definitely disappears if you work out and if you work out hard doing cardio and lifting weights. you have a push yourself. how long did it take for you to lose 100 pounds?
When "loose" is spelled correctly and all over the video but yet people still spell it wrong. 😑 Good job dude, puttin yourself out there like this is inspirational to others but it takes courage to exhibit yourself. Respect!
I've always had a high level of respect for you. Now it's even higher. Thanks for making this video, your progress and determination are what keep ME going. 👊🏼
My body looks just like your "before" pics, and seeing you now fills me with the hope that I can one day look like you if I stay committed to weight loss 💪
I just recently started my weight loss journey. I'm down to 389 from 415 and I already feel so much better. My goal is to eventually lose 200 pounds, and I will admit that I'm scared of all the loose skin/stretch marks that will be left behind. Your video helped me realize that the confidence I'll gain from being healthy will outway any negatives I might feel from loose skin. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your story and inspiring others because you have made a difference. Here's hoping a year from now I'll be dealing with loose skin instead of being obese.
Firefly567 I started 3 months ago at 341 and am down to 295. I don’t give a shit if my skin is loose when I’m done loosing weight. Loose skin isn’t as bad as being obese. 46 pounds down and I can already do things I could do before bending over is easier. Getting out of bed is easier. Buckling the seat belt in my car, just life in general. I’m looking forward to being a normal size person for the first time in my adult life. If loose skin is there when I get where I want to be so be it but nothing is going to stop me from achieving my goal.
It works from the 'before' side, too. Men in my family tends towards huuuge bellies in middle age, and I turn 40 this year. I vowed decades ago never to become overweight. Remembering that if I let it happen, I'd likely never get back to the same starting point, is an immense help keeping me on my toes. I cannot _imagine_ how hard a situation that is to face, knowing that after all that work, even downright smashing success would come with a massive caveat like that.
The thing about having a smaller amount of loose skin is that if, depending on how much you have, you stand a certain way the only people who can tell are the ones who also have loose skin. I have loose skin on my lower abs after going from about 225ish to 140 (I'm 5' 6") and if I stand straight you can't tell, but if I bend forward at all it bunches a bit. I am absolutely a bit insecure about it but I absolutely look MUCH better than I did. You look great my dude.
Hi im trying to lose weight and im 15, i weigh 220 pounds currently and i want to lose about 90. Im honeslty scared of getting loose skin but i know the outcome will be worth it, many say its about age and genetics but idk... If you dont mind me asking... How old are you?
You look fantastic. I know it is hard losing the weight. I gained 100 lbs after a car accident. I gained weight after being in a wheelchair. I am now trying to lose that weight. I have 80 lbs to go. i do not worry about the skin so much, but wonder if all the metal in my hips, chest , and back will show through. I guess will see! As for surgery, not an option for me. I felt the 3 times my heart stopped, it is the scariest feeling when the lights go out. I feel that you either like me or you don't, life is too short. Never sweat the small stuff.
an accident myself got me into the same situation. I had come a long journey to lose 80lbs then after nearly losing my hand. the massive blood loss and drug side effects caused me to rapidly gain weight and lose all the muscle I had earned. I had to start all over with a damaged hand and wrist. to this day I struggle but am now nearing my goal despite all the pain and people trying holding me back stubborn as I am , I'm now fitting in pants that never came close before. I wish you the best on the journey that takes double the effort my Friend. but we will come out that much stronger.
its not genetic. If you were fat and lost a lot of weight you will have loose skin. the skin was stretched. It needs time to tighten. Dont worry about it will tighten over time if you keep you body slim.
Lol, of course its because I was fat. Other determining factors are age, how much you weighed, how quickly you lost it, and so on. What i am saying is genetically dependent is the amount you will have aside from those factors. For instance... Take two different people, each the same weight, gender, age, and lost it at the same pace. BECAUSE they are two totally different people, one will end up with more loose skin than the other, due to said persons genetics.
This is what has held me back for the past 4 years, being so terrified of loose skin. I need to lose 30/40kilos. But, at the same time, I was fighting my demons of gluttony. As hard as it was to hear, I'm thankful I clicked on this video. Thanks mate and God bless.
Hey, I just lost 30 kilo in 5 months - no loose skin (except bat wings) I made sure that I had great supplements - emu oil for the mk4 componant of vit K2, fermented cod liver oil, magnesium, cellfood, bentonite clay and spirulina, vitamin c is your best friend, too!. It was costly but worth it. High doses of these before weight loss (I did 8 weeks) started and maintenance dosages to high doses during weightloss. I also have few - to - no stretch marks! Woohoo! Also, PLENTY of water and I didn't overdose on excersising either! I am also not young, am 45 years old too, plus I never lost hair or nutrition levels! Can't guarantee results but I have yet to see this elixir deliver less than good results! Hope this helps - in the name of Christ Jesus..xx
I see that this video is already over four years old, but I have just seen it for the first time. Your message is important. You were very brave and also selfless for making this video. Thank you!
This guy deserves a medal for bravery. It's fuckin hard to do what he's done and go in front of millions of people and show his weaknesses. For that, i aplaude you sir! Btw - i know loose skin is hard to deal with and really hard or literally impossible to get rid of - but there's a thing called autophagy which happen while fasting or IF and our bodies actually recicle the parts they don't need - including extra skin. Maybe try it. Wish you all the best, outstanding transformation man!
This was a great thing to do. There are so many people out there (both men and women) who lose weight, and then have surgery, or just have surgery for whatever reason, or do something to alter their appearance in a positive way, or in a manner that society views as beneficial - and then they lie about it, claim that's it all natural, give "tips" on how others can achieve that same look (how to get rid of 100 lbs of extra skin after weight loss without surgery) when they personally had surgery to do it. It just makes other people feel like failures. It's nice to see someone coming out and being honest about this. What a rare quality nowadays!
Credit to you, bro! 1st for the transformation you've accomplished, 2nd for owning the loose skin and how you look. You are a living embodiment of honesty and authenticity - a truly inspiring man! Be well!
Hey Ben, this is Ram here from India. I don't know if you are going to read this comment. But there is so much I can relate with you and with this video. I lost about 70 pounds in about a year and obviously, what I was left was with loose skin all over my body. I have been on strength training since last year. Much of my loose skin is getting back to normal, but there is yet much to be repaired. I searched hundreds of articles on internet and scores of videos on youtube in my quest for finding a solution for the loose skin, but none of which seemed to work for me (I guess genetics also plays a major role in this). But listening to you in this video was a very different experience. The whole point of accepting yourself and getting comfortable under your own skin, is what I needed to learn. I always compared myself to other boys of my age who are lean and the lifters at gym who have amazing muscularity and felt low about it. But after listening to you, I felt like "Yeah man! He's right. I got to be extremely proud of myself for losing weight and it's okay if I have to carry loose skin with me, I don't wanna be obese again". Thank you so so much for the motivation. May God bless you.
Why did you need to spoil such an intelligent comment with the last sentence? Well done on losing the weight. 100% credit goes to you and nothing else.
Isn't that exactly what the commenter did - impose his ideology on others. "May god bless you." What does that even mean? Seriously? I thought god loves everyone - why do we then need an extra blessing? I just can't handle stupidity.
Who said I'm an atheist? Why are you so obsessed with labels and groups? I don't bucket myself into any of these man made classifications. Some of us think for ourselves, we're good and successful people without needing to follow. You do realise there are multiple gods worshipped across the globe and it's simply a case of geography as to which god you kneel to. Gee, hope you won the geo lotto otherwise you'll burn in hell for eternity for following the wrong god. You do know how much evil religion has caused in the world? You couldn't explain what 'god bless you' means? Keep it up "man of science." Sounds as though you cracked the code....and no, I won't be arguing any further with some Indian kid.
Andrew Ross Listen Andrew, You are highly contradicting yourself and looks like you have no freaking idea what you're talking about! Enough of your non-sense man. Only an ignorant person would see "May god bless you" as an imposition of religious beliefs on someone else. The Expression is used world over by people in their own ways and in its simplest terms, what it means is that we wish for somebody's well being. As a matter of fact, you implied through your comment that it was 'not intelligent' on my part to invoke God in my comment and then said in your next comment that you yourself believe that God loves everyone! How intelligent of you! And no, we Indians don't impose our beliefs on anyone. In fact we Hindus are the last people to "impose" any religious beliefs on anyone. So no need to blabber in front of us about God the way you blabber to your Abrahamic brothers and sisters. Educate yourself about Indian culture and Hinduism before you do such rants in future. As a matter of fact, the only thing that you could point out was the fact that I mentioned God. It wasn't even an issue to be frank. You came specifically after me for mentioning God, took a moral high ground, belittled me as somebody unintelligent, then claimed that you too believe in God! What are you? A moron? Even we Indian kids are in no mood to argue any further with your stupidity. To each one, his own. May God Bless you specifically!
Calm down big Ram. You clearly have trouble comprehending English and your message makes zero sense. I don't believe in any god and I don't label myself an atheist. I know that could be too cryptic for your simple mindedness, but maybe when you grow up you'll understand. In the meantime, stick to Hindu and your own kind. I congratulated you on your weight loss. Learn to take a compliment and leave it at that.
Thank you so much for sharing. For years I was in this cycle of losing weight and gaining it back because I was afraid of what I’d look like at the end. But finally at the end of 2019 I don’t know what happened but I stopped caring about it and just care about feeling better, and happy. Seeing this video just made me feel stronger, thank you.
Before I had my baby who is now 7 months, I was 145 pounds and 5’10” ft tall, during pregnancy I gained 75 pounds and after giving birth I was at 210. I am now currently at 185 and what’s stopping me from losing more weight is the fear of having lose skin, and of course there are options such as surgery but I would rather not have a scar or simply bc I can’t afford it. Seeing this video and many others motivates me to better myself by not caring what others think but to strive to be the best I can be mentally and physically.
Mao Moemoe do fasting and look into it, it’ll help with loose skin. There’s no reason to worry about losing weight, or getting rid of loose skin, both can be done.
I think I love you... I'm coming out of the obesity I developed with my second pregnancy by a combination of fasting + low carb semi keto and breaking keto every 9th day... it's happening faster than with most diets but I'm terrified of lose skin... mainly because ...well, prettier tight skin skinny girls out there... and but hearing you talk about confidence and seeing your personality and you trying to encourage us is sure a light in the middle of all the darkness. God bless you.
Sir, I salute you and the astounding results you have achieved! I have lost 67 lbs myself, just 13 left to achieve my goal. But in spite of going to the gym 5 times a week (it's my new religion), I have not been able to tone up anywhere close to the shape you're in. Again, congrats my friend, you are an inspiration for many!
Baby...i could see just how hard it was for you to do this video...you look dashing now...all that loose skin u have there does not make u ugly or silly in anyway..so stay strong and dont cringe your face...what you have achieved is something so many millions of men out there across the globe can never attain no matter how hard they burn & lift in the gym...you are precious...dont forget that...I'd do anything to have you (Yes I'm 101% Serious) for myself all life long! So please, stay confident & keep inspiring others to live healthy, workout daily and achieve results as always! Love u Dude!
hun you dont need to be worried about your loose skin at all. if a woman/man cant see past a fickle issue as loose skin then he/she isnt worthy of your dedication, passion, determination and love. those qualities are so much more attractive about a guy/girl (depending on personal preference).
This video really helped me right now, I’ve been very insecure about my loose skin but you are making me remember how much better I feel now that I have lost the weight.
Loose skin is like a battle scar. But a scar you should be proud of. It’s a reminder of what you used to look like and all the hard work you put in to not look like that anymore.
Thank you for doing this video. It clearly was difficult for you to put yourself out there like that and it shows you have courage. I am not afraid of lose skin. I am afraid of being obese for the rest of my life and the very serious health effects it will have. I just lost my Dad who had diabetes and really suffered the last 15 months of his life despite our best care of him. I don’t want to suffer from something that is preventable. You are young so hopefully over time the loose skin will become less noticeable, but you are healthy and fit and that is amazing. I am much older and if I am lucky to loose weight my loose skin will be my badge of honor. Any man who doesn’t like it can see another woman. I want to be healthy. Thanks again and great job!
Hi, I really like how you use the loose skin as a POSITIVE reminder of how your body used to be, to what you have achieved. And not has a constant reminder of failure ... Transformation starts with the mind, and you, Sir, are very strong !
you look awesome it proves that you lost the weight for real and I think it's a badge of honor and it proved your accomplishment and you're not just some photoshopped scammer. you are totally authentic and that is awesome
This is what REAL body positivity looks like
Yeah not fat girls walking around have naked saying "love yourself" nah bitch your fat, lose it
MF Anal That’s what body positivity originally was. It was to show acceptance of your body over things you can’t control, such as loose skin, stretch marks, your height, etc... not promote an unhealthy lifestyle.

Hiding loose skin is much easier than hiding all that excess weight!
Here is how I lost over 5 pounds in less than one week: HootFat. com
Very true but i believe people shouldnt hide loose skin, they should show it off as a trophy for their accomplishment

3:57 Starvation makes your body to feast on excessive tissues. First is muscle mass because for human specie default muscle mass is almost 0, we use brains, but second will be excessive skin.
Starvation when you healthy and have no macronutrients deficiency before going into starving really helps to tighten skin on face and body making it like 5 years younger so it should help with excessive skin situation.
i can see his pain in his eyes making this video thanks man....you really helped me...
This comment was published 8 months ago. Did you change anything?
The answer to the question would be: Loose skin is a lot easier to hide than +100 pounds obesity.
The video isn't about hiding
ITS NOT GOOD TO LIVE YOUR LIFE FEELING YOU HAVE TO HIDE YOURSELF!!!!
Loose weight easily with keto rb.gy/b1zcje
At least it doesn't show on a persons head
Also a lot healthier than a heart attack
i am 350+ and only 17 i have a problem and i am going to fix it and i will try very hard. my dream is to become fit enough to become a police officer and to anyone that may be reading this and has the same problem i do i hope you fix it as well god speed and love you :)
The fact that during this time your saying you wanna be a police officer is risky and I respect that you are trying to help others and get healthier.
You can do it . No problem!
Keto and fasting fellow human!! Dr berg on RUclips will guide you! Skip breakfast and lunch or lunch and supper. W.e is easier. You got this!
Of course I know it can be removed lol.... But exactly what Cjrun24 said ^_^
Thanks for sharing Mr. : )
i got problems to... with skin i am keep bulking to get tense skin.
Loose skin is a trophy. A reminder of Where you once stood vs where you stand now, and proof of that you have done it.
Very profound
Imagine finally overcoming that mountain, only to get punched in the gut as a reward though...
now THATS some words to live buy!! i say the same thing.
@@beleagueredbeluga5228 Amen! Of course health is most important, but no one wants to look like they've damned melted.
Loose skin would be easier to hide than fat rolls.
Luke yeet you could lose 100 pounds over a period of 10 years and you will still have loose skin
@c s actually losing weight too fast can cause lose skin.
Yesssss!!!
You know what this makes me think about? The simpsons episode where homer bound all his fat on his back with elastics to look ripped.
So, yeah. SINPSONS DID IT
Copied.
Go to colombia is cheaper and really safe. any surgery of that kind. Also the butt, nose, breasts, etc.
You are awesome. Thanks for such an inspiring video. Wish you The best!!

Soul Esoteric V Obesity is a form of self harm 🤷♀️
@@xTwilightWolvesx
i Personally would not count gluttony as intentional self harm
reason is because the weight gain is unwanted side effect that does not immediately.
me personally i have a very hard time thinking someone would want to harm themselves would pick up a cheeseburger as a form of self harm.

If i exist, other do too ❤️❤️
How much loose skin do you have?
Im curious, Also how much weight did you loose?
Loose skin. Lose the weight. See the difference?
well ur a nice person then.
Nobody cares how much loose skin you have, I think you look beautiful !! ❤️❗️💯

I researched it and wrote a short ebook on it and basically it’s about daily self-massage and taking gelatin, which helps the connective tissue in the skin form properly. i would rather have loose skin than having that skin filled with fat.
I would rather have none but I see why you would not get surgery done
@@zain1878
He already looks better than like 90% of people so getting skin surgery is a way of money honestly.
Bucky Preseau it feels the same u can just ran farther
I'm really glad for this video. It really hit me hard. My highest weight I was at 500 pounds. I'm 6'4. I'm currently down to about 421 (which is honestly surreal as all hell) but I am 99.99% sure I'm going to have a massive amount of loose skin. Thank you for this video.
Josh Blost keep going, you got it!
Keep up the hard work josh
Hey keep going do your best. I was watching a video by Natalie Jill Fitness who had a guy by the name Jason Rosell on the video and he said the best thing to do to minimize loose skin is to lift weights so the muscles can fill out the skin. Watch the video it should help.
Keep going! I failed was at 550lbs got down to 375lbs back where I was. Its a vicious cycle! Im hustling again to beat this!
you can limit it you just need to talk to your doctor about loose skin and how to prevent it, you dont have to lose weight that quickly and if you choose to anyway and go on a crash diet yes you'll have a lot of loose skin if you choose to do that you dont have to do cardio, but you should and i will tell you it a thousand times if necessary eat enough proteïn since if you lose that weight you will have a lot of muscle mass if you eat enough proteïn since your muscle's had to adapt strength according to the weight you were which means you build muscle withouth doing anything and you should definetly try to keep as much of that as you can.
Respect

Yep!
It's been 2 years how are you doing?
Getting winded climbing a small flight of stairs, wheezing for no reason, the early signs of sleep apnea and diabetes that only I miraculously avoided at that point, the fallen arches, the list goes for days, and I'll trade it for loose skin any day..
good luck and good health!
Did you have any problems with your knees or legs in general when you started working out?
Swagger Jacker They did but it wasn't too bad. I took it easy at first and used bikes and elliptical machines for cardio, after the losing 50 or so I started using the stair-master and was able to run on the treadmill. At that point my legs were used to the strain from working out legs once a week and being used to being active.
Keep it up. 17 months ago I was at 383 pounds. Now I'm at 225 with diet and exercise. I have about 30 more to go.
Best of luck to you.
any weight loss?
You're not obese, maybe overweight but not obese. Unless you're below like 165cm.
That's amazing. I've lost 22 pounds since New Years Eve this year, just by eating healthier. Since I'm only 14 it's even harder, but I'm doing it:)
Your loose skin is a badge of honor! That is proof that you did it! Be proud because you succeeded and you now should know you can accomplish anything! You look amazing!
Just because someone has it worse, it doesn't invalidate what you're going through. Thank you for sharing this video. You look great, by the way.
Thank you, bro. Truth be told, I have been overweight almost my whole life. I turned it around and lost 117lbs. I have loose skin and it was depressing until I saw your video. It's good for me to see otherswith the same stuff. Thank you, bro. You just earned a subscriber today.

jether uguil you can do it being a better healthier you is something worth striving for.
I am 15 and i am not obese but i am very fat lets lost all the weight!

Loose skin shouldn't be hated but rather seen as an accomplishment because it shows dedication and how far a person has gotten.
Your personality shows through this! Love love love!!!
I would never not date someone because of lose skin. If anything that would make me more attracted to them because it shows they fought for something and man that is a beautiful thing. I just want anyone with loose skin to know that. Don't ever sell yourself short
LOL Right.
Only reason 90% of people ever go is to increase the chance of mating. It's human nature for girls to be attracted to the best looking people.
I'd rather have loose skin than fat
Loose skin won't kill ya! But the fat will. :(
fat is gross. the skin is OK.
Lol well the skin is indeed ok, but X obese people still struggle with it.

Good work man !!!! 💪👍🔥 I went from 280lbs and I am now 213lbs.
Good shit bro I started at 280 as well I'm down to 201lbs. Goal is 160 💪🏼
That's an awesome accomplishment!!
I used to be 200 now I'm 150 I'm 18

I watched this video when I was 145kg, a year later I am now 82kg, still coming to terms with the loose skin and it is still improving a bit on it's own but I know it will never be completely normal but I can say that I don't hate it anymore and I would take this skin over the extra weight any day. Great video man
You did a good job man!
Would you please tell me what you did to get this transform
bro try doing 2 or 3 days water fast every week and you wil lose your loose skin.

THANK YOU, thats the most encouraging thing i have heard in a vert long time, take care sir!
Congrats on your success! There is never a wrong time to become a better version of yourself! Go girl!!!
If you want to get rid of the loose skin try water fasting.
Did you lose weight by surgery or just dieting?
it definitely disappears if you work out and if you work out hard doing cardio and lifting weights. you have a push yourself. how long did it take for you to lose 100 pounds?
danna mirza do dry fasting, your skin will tighten
When "loose" is spelled correctly and all over the video but yet people still spell it wrong. 😑
Good job dude, puttin yourself out there like this is inspirational to others but it takes courage to exhibit yourself. Respect!

these are the scars of a long battle you're a warrior my friend.
I cannot _imagine_ how hard a situation that is to face, knowing that after all that work, even downright smashing success would come with a massive caveat like that.
im now down 66 4 months and 5 days in
I love this I lost 215 pounds from 475 and this video made my day thank you for being real
Wow, that's terrific.
@@theburnttortillachip401 How did you get on?
You look fantastic. I know it is hard losing the weight. I gained 100 lbs after a car accident. I gained weight after being in a wheelchair. I am now trying to lose that weight. I have 80 lbs to go. i do not worry about the skin so much, but wonder if all the metal in my hips, chest , and back will show through. I guess will see! As for surgery, not an option for me. I felt the 3 times my heart stopped, it is the scariest feeling when the lights go out. I feel that you either like me or you don't, life is too short. Never sweat the small stuff.
yeah man dont worry you will live for 100 yeard
an accident myself got me into the same situation. I wish you the best on the journey that takes double the effort my Friend. but we will come out that much stronger.
loose skin will resolve it self over time if u keep it up. Takes time to tighten up and foryour body to adjust. Its all good.
its not genetic.
Well done!! Dude, 100 pounds!!!!!!! You should feel really proud of yourself--you're an inspiration.
Be well!
Seems like the amount of muscle he's put on is the main reason his loose skin is less obvious than it would be otherwise.
I’d look at the loose skin as an achievement. It’s a reminder of who you were and how far you came 🙂
Hey Ben, this is Ram here from India.
S McDonald more weights less cardio
S McDonald more weights and less cardio will mean the last few pounds come off slower but you will look much better 👍🏻
As someone that has been living obese most of my life and now I'm working on changing and been better, I admire you so much for this
Baby...i could see just how hard it was for you to do this video...you look dashing now...all that loose skin u have there does not make u ugly or silly in anyway..so stay strong and dont cringe your face...what you have achieved is something so many millions of men out there across the globe can never attain no matter how hard they burn & lift in the gym...you are precious...dont forget that...I'd do anything to have you (Yes I'm 101% Serious) for myself all life long! So please, stay confident & keep inspiring others to live healthy, workout daily and achieve results as always! Love u Dude!
I know your comment was meant as a nice one, but it came off a little creepy.

hun you dont need to be worried about your loose skin at all. if a woman/man cant see past a fickle issue as loose skin then he/she isnt worthy of your dedication, passion, determination and love. those qualities are so much more attractive about a guy/girl (depending on personal preference).
This video really helped me right now, I’ve been very insecure about my loose skin but you are making me remember how much better I feel now that I have lost the weight.
Lost 50, already showing some, proud of myself. Proud for your bravery top mate. Keep UP the good work.
I have started my journey. Thanks for this video
Abhishek Subba how’d it go
Abhishek Subba how is it going?
Still goin ?
How's it going buddy?
Abhishek Subba hope you're still going
Hi,
I really like how you use the loose skin as a POSITIVE reminder of how your body used to be, to what you have achieved.
Wear it as a badge of honour a reminder of your achievements and your past.
God Bless 🙏🏻.
