I have quite a lot footage from these Bodom After Midnight studio sessions which never got released because maestro left this realm way too soon. I really don't know if any more of this stuff will be released but here's another small clip I did edit over a year ago as a demo for the guys so I hope you enjoy it or then don't.

This footage is so special. Thank you so much for releasing it, we get a glimpse of a genius his final creative works. He seems so enthousiast if about it it makes me so sad :(

I know this will sound like the regular stereotyped trash but Laiho was a really big influence not only on my playing but also in my life, when I was a kid I always wanted to have an esp guitar, when I was a teenager I had enough money to buy one, the first ever esp guitar in my life was a Laiho model, eap ok not Ltd, and that made my mind stronger, it made me feel I could chase my dreams, I learnt kissing the shadows on that guitar, It made myself a stronger person and musician, I will always love Laiho, I will always respect him and miss him, thank you Laiho, thank you wildchild, I’m a bitter adult right now but he will always put a smile on my face, same for Dime, thank you man
It's been well over a year, and i still get that gut-punch feeling when i remember he's gone. He definitely looks healthier here, his skin even had a little glow and he was less thin, i still don't understand how he left so soon.

Thank you for this footage. It makes me feel very emotional. I was terribly shocked when I read Alexi passed away in 2020, he was my absolute metal idol (CoB/BaM was the band I had seen the most in concert). RIP Wild Child 🤘
One year and I am still not over it.. Nice video but its also painful because he looked really healthy.. Weird feelings, he was the Master ❤️❤️

Last time I saw him with COB was summer of 2019, before they disband. I found him tired, never knew he was sick. It was a shock to me when COB disband but when they announced his death my life just collapsed. I remember getting ready for job and leaving home, and hours after that finding myself already at Work, never knowing how I arrived there.
Alexi was so young and gifted, he needed to stay. I traveled 6500km just to put a flower on his grave, I never thought I'd live to see the day when he won't be here.
It's a cruel cruel joke, and it shouldn't happen to him.

Me and my brother came close to meeting COB in 2008. We were 8ft away from the band when the security guard turned us away cause COB was done signing after the guy in front of us :(
I saw everyone except Alexi at finnish McDonalds in 2008 while wearing a Blooddrunk hoodie! Got Roope and Henkka to sign.

Hey Jarvinen, thanks for releasing this stuff. I think you mentioned you are not sure if you can release more footage, but im wondering, if you are the one that shot it dont you have any say on what gets released? if not you then whose decision is it? And thank you again for releasing this, i think you know how much it means to all of us.
It's not that simple to just release any footage i have shot during the years with any band I have been working with. I always ask the permission from the artists if it is ok to release footage they're in it. And then there are these Copyright laws also. If the bands wants to release some stuff i might have shot that"s ofcourse ok for me. I only own the rights to the video, not to the music in it. And in this case it is even more difficult since i can't ask permission straight from Aleksi to release anything Bam related :( Let's just see if something new pops out in some point. Anyways, Im not that keen to shoot any footage which will not never gonna be released cause it is basically just waste of everyone's time.

Since it's unknown if more footage can be posted, would you mind sharing a funny memory you have with Aleksi for us fans that we may not have heard before?
The morning after we shot Trashed, Lost In Helsinki I got a call from Alexi which went something like as follows. Dude, did you take that pile of dollars with you when we ditched the car and went to Tavastia? I didn't but luckily we found it later on under the drivers seat. That pile wasn't like 1 dollar bills so :)
