If you can afford it, go for it. Enjoy it. Then take the gt3 out when you want to have some fun. Or your 720s. Or your Fiesta ST! David Dickinson approves of the colour
I knew you would like it, the moment I saw the tartan jacket ! I'm sure it is a delight to be able to afford one but I think the paint job "Matt Trump" is a tad much :)
Pick one up for £50K, slap a private plate on it, wrap in some garish colour and bosh…you have a Wag-mobile. You have to respect the fact that VAG has squeezed the pip on this platform and continues to do so for a 10 (ish) year old one.
£200'000 before options and the front camera looks like it been fitted by an 18 year old on his first halfords " haul" of goodies for his fiesta/ corsa/ ibiza.😊 If that's the pinical of bentley craftsmanship on the cars most iconic " face"
They need to make it much more imposing and special looking. When I buy a Bentley I want everyone (including non-car people) to understand that it is something expensive and special. The only luxury SUVs that normal people recognise today are the Range Rover and the Mercedes G-class. I have seen lots of concept drawings and AI drawings of future Bentley SUVs that much better capture the essence of what a Bentley should be. A normal person might mistake this SUV for an Audi or any other generic brand.
@@alanprice9938 The market for loud and bold is much larger than the market for understated. That is the problem Jaguar also has. Otherwise I would have bought a Mercedes or an Audi.
@@jimj2683 I’m sure you are right, guess it must be, otherwise they’d probably not make them, but the current market seems to show a sniff that there will be a backlash, on the basis that apart from footballers, most of the folk who buy the loud stuff are doing it on credit, who can’t really afford it, instead of it being a reflection of real money…..cos real money don’t shout about it. A bit like how red Porsches and M3’s became less cool after the 80’s bubble burst.
I love some of the ‘90’s continentals and the very latest GT’s are gorgeous but I really don’t understand this SUV, nor the RR SUV……it’s a cliche but both are just so “pig in lipstick”. I’d have to buy a 911 and a Rangey 😃😃 instead.

Nice color !
That Thumbnail is the only time any of these Bentaygas will see anything other than smooth tarmac. Maybe a nice long gravel driveway but that's it.

Do these cars go on offer on Black Friday?
This is the nicest Volkswagen.

How can they possibly justify £24k for paint? I wasn't expecting it to be cheap but how? HOW IS IT THAT MUCH?
It's more than 10% of the price of the car! My gob is smacked.
How much is the sausage?
A couple of Euros in the Ratskeller under the townhall in Munich...

…..no offence, but that’s exactly what’s wrong with Bentley…… that folk now what them to be visually loud, instead of understated awesomeness.

I’ve owned a McLaren and I can’t imagine spending this much on such an ugly SUV
Looks like a Kia from what I can see ! Hideous thing for people with no taste ! 😂
Good review of an ugly car.
That camera in the grill is a joke.
