as someone who has gone thru a divorce with kids involved, there's a lot to be said for keeping it civil. I've seen others go thru it and it's gotten acrimonious and messy, and really the people that get hurt the most by that are the kids. If you can't be civil with an ex for your own conscience, do it for them.

It’s not quite that bad yet I just traded a vw lost 15% after a year and 25k miles. Now the person that bought my old car that got traded to the vw yeah they lost they’re head. Really depends on the car and demand for it in the area.

My first wife wanted to keep the 3rd gen, manual 4runner I bought her a few months before she shacked up with another dude. In our divorce paperwork she had to pay me for it. I repo'd it when she stopped making payments and drove it for the next 6 or 7 years. Love the car and there was that occasional sense of satisfaction when driving it. 😂

You couldn't get me to buy or own a Bentley or Rolls Royce now. The fact is, at one time, if you drove either down the street, the 3 year old on riding his tricycle knew it was a Rolls Royce. And they were just gorgeous automobiles with a distinctive look feel and their own special touch. Though not really made for the driver, it still was comfortable. Now, like Jaguar, they look like any other car on the street. To me, that really is a sad loss.
I find it hard to even look at the comments anymore because of the topic that is mostly discussed… I’m struggling just as much, but with less “0’s”!! The 6 liter VW W12 engine started in the Audi A8 in 2001 and the VW Phaeton in 2004. The Bentayga shell comes from the VW/Audi plant near Zwickau, Germany (from where the pre-war Auto Union race cars came). You love that car, please keep it.

@@James-oo1yq I think that the Passat got a 4 liter W8, as a test-bed for the W12, which also became a W16 in the Bugatti Veyron. Passat and Golf started with the VR6. Same engine family.
The 2001 to 2002 Audi A8 D2 was the first car to ever be sold with the W12 engine. It was then used in the 1st generation VW Phaeton and then Bentley adopted it as their bespoke engine. Less than 1000 Audi D2 A8's were built using the engine and are very rare. Many probably don't exist anymore.

I have mixed feelings about the gimbal mount on your camera. Swaying fore and aft during acceleration and braking is neat, but when it's rocking like a boat looks like either the suspension is shot or the cameraman is motion sick.

One of the reasons I dropped all my bimmers but my E31 (that currently has a procharged Toyota 1UZ 4.0L V8) is the community around tuning them is full of people that guard every single scrap of knowledge like it's a matter of life and death. It may be different now, but a few years ago when I was looking into it for an E46 all I got back was insults and bloated prices instead of any actual useful information.
Meanwhile, I've never had issues with any of the JDM market guys. When I've been in Japan on photography jobs, I'd get invited out to the car meets and shops out in the sticks and everyone loved helping with everything.

There's a spot on the front of the cruise control stalk that you can push down to allow closer following. Just like a Q8, Q7, A7, A5, etc.
I drove a Bentayga years ago and I remember clearly that the distance the cruise control held to the car in front could be set up. Maybe that was a newer generation?

I drove a Lexus with the same feature, going 65+ on the highway I found un-usable. It would leave too far of a gap and what would happen is people would cut in front of you and the car would stop short, Not fun, I did find it going 35-45mph usable, it would slow down and work fine....
