Thanks for the tutorial! I was able to swap out screens. Ran into a small problem with a screw that was too tight, and then the head became stripped. Used tin snips to cut the tab off the broken screen, then pliers to loosen the screw. Wouldn't recommend, but things work now.
With the help of this video I was able to complete the replacement in about 10 minutes. Getting the bezel popped back on was just a little tricky.. Overall... EXCELLENT! Thank you for posting this video.
Thanks for posting. My son's screen has been going dead off and on for a while. I suspected a faulty connection and your instructions were helpful. For me, it was the pin connection (~2:00 in your vid) that was askew.

My screen occasionally goes black when opening my laptop. I believe I may have opened it too wide one time and stretched the video connector. Any chance of just ordering the video cable or connector? Would dielectric grease be helpful to shoot into the connection?
Do you recommend keeping your old 576g 5762 screen if only the top lid cracked and left hinge assembly fell apart, and a video of this if even another brand

3wks after buying acer laptop my son screen cracked at bottom unable to find receipt to replace now months have gone by and screen has no light up at all where it kept splitting open. What can l do? My son worked so hard to get place in 6th form to do A levels can l buy monitor if so where? Any advice welcome thanks.
The screw head over the connector became stripped for me amd i was unable to proceed any furhter, even after is8ng the method prescridbed to loosen the stripped screw it still wouldnt budge

Hi, i hope you can help me. The connection point on the left side of the screen to the keyboard has been having issues since day one. First it started with the laptop screen not closing entirely down. Then it started to make 'clicking' sounds when moving the screen up and down. Then it made a lpud sound and tiny broken plastic pieces fell off. Now the frame has slightly come off as you do in step 1 on the left side BUT i cant open the laptop more than 45 degrees so step 1 would be impossible. I do not want to change the entire screen, just disconnect the screen and laptop to see what the problem is. What steps can i take best in this case? Thanks for your videos :)

Thanks, this was helpful. Loosening 2 screws a little minimized the backlight bleeding considerably for me.
