Having done this myself recently my biggest suggestion is to get 'remote clamp pliars' as the bottom clamp can be... difficult. A good set of them will help you to further work on all modern cars.
It should slide in with some pressure to seal the o-rings, but it doesn't click in place or 'seat'. The bolts that mount the AOS will keep it firmly in place.

Where did you get the custom 3 inch hose for the larger throttle body?
My piece that slides into the crankcase with the o-rings won't go in all the way. Is that normal?

Just did this, it's a PITA lol. Not a fan. It would be nice if they'd let us just replace the diaphragm.
Remove all of the hard plastic lines first do not break them it’s a royal mf to snake those hard plastic lines back in if you break them.
